What I like about this book is that it lays out how to nurture your child with ADHD to become the best versions of themselves. I have often felt that doctors seem to be a little too liberal with giving out medications, and while some people need it, not all do. This book mentions medication as a possibility but it is only mentioned briefly which I found great.
Instead there is a focus on you and your child learning who they are as a unique individual. From there you discover their strengths plus weaknesses and then as a parent you guide them to reach their full potential as a human being.
On a side note, we really enjoyed the influential people with ADHD sections that start each chapter.
This book has been a total game-changer for managing my kid's ADHD. It really dives deep into how things like diet, exercise, and getting good sleep can make a huge difference, not just the usual medication and therapy advice I’ve read about in the past. We've incorporated many of the strategies found inside into our daily routine, and it's made such a positive impact on my kid's quality of life. Highly recommend!
This is an inspiring and educational book for parents with children with ADHD and everybody who wants to know more about ADHD. Include also tips on how to deal with it.
