Paul Wallis answers the question all deep, spiritual thinkers have always asked. It’s called “theodicy.” If God is good, then why is our world full of horribly unfair trauma and suffering? If God is omnipotent, why does “He” allow good people to be brutalized and horrible people to accumulate massive power, control, and wealth? The answer is shocking, but makes perfect sense. It’s as if the key pieces have been put in a jigsaw puzzle and the picture becomes totally clear. Paul’s research puts all the pieces together of the shocking narrative of human brutality, colonization and environmental devastation by the “kleptocracy” which consumes everything. He also gives the reader plenty of inspiration from the past and the present to engage the journey of awakening and evolution is an accelerated way. This book is profound, timely, fascinating, and uplifting (albeit disturbing as well). You will want to share it with everyone you know, with a deep and open mind. This book builds on the previous two and all the YouTube videos to a whole new level of clarity, comprehensiveness and life changing truth gleaned from the violently buried knowledge and memory of humanity.
This book is a real eye opener of present and past alien contact? Many of these ideas are contained in the Bible that Paul Wallis explains very well, much to the annoyance of his Bishop? Sadly the Anglican church still has a difficulty to admit to visitations, although the Catholic church has embraced this for years.
A recommended read for all those seeking a better understanding of our past.
This book confirms a lot of My ideas regarding scriptures. It also shed light on some questions I had regarding Biblical account of God in the Old testament.
This is a personal reflection by the author of the journey of life. He covers Eden in the Bible and other origins of life. The book details stories of the Bible in a different light. He looks at other cultures and their view of their origins. I recommend d this book for those exploring our Origins
The basis of the book is about paleocontact which is contact between humans and space/dimensional aliens in ancient history.
In relation to the Bible it discuses the Elohim which are known as 'powerful ones.' It's a possibility that these were aliens of some form. Keep in mind that the ancient cultures lacked the scientific knowledge of the present culture so they interpreted things in manners that were familiar to them from their personal experience or from the mythology that there were familiar with.
I thought of a problem at this time when reading. If there were so many alien contacts in ancient times and if the aliens were so powerful then why did they not stop the comet from hitting the Earth and setting off the Younger Dryas period, thus saving untold numbers of human lives and allowing human culture to continue to develop rather than have to reset itself?
One of the things from them and now is the taking of human alien and forcing them to have hybrid alien/human babies. What no book I have read so far, including this one, points out that this is not only kidnapping but also essentially rape and forced pregnancy. To me that's an overt act of hostility.
Some of the alien contacts seem to have emphasized ecology. The book also talks about portals, about present-day and not that long ago times when the Church and various political bodies sought to at the minimum suppress and at times try to tally destroy native cultures and their histories.
This type of thing also includes book burning which is something Hitler is noted for but few realize that the Church was behind the same time of thing at another time in history.
This also includes destroying written records of old civilizations. It also includes religions banning certain books and movies for their followers.
It says that the Roswell crash was not a weather balloon. Cathars, African shamanism. feathered Reptilian aliens, human genetic modification by aliens of humans and the 'state' determining what is true and what is not true is also covered.
The book I don't thing is well organized and doesn't really have a strong enough proof to their alien contact theory. I think there's a little too much time spent on suppression of knowledge and not enough on why aliens would have come to Earth in the first place.
I really enjoyed this book as I have been on a journey similar to Paul Willis, though w/o his credentials as a PHD Episcopalian theologian. He has a very good reputation in the countries he has lived in, namely England, S. Africa and Australia, when he is led to examine the roots of the Hebrew words for God and discovers they are similar to the much earlier names for the gods of much older civilizations. He then opens up about his encounters with entities when younger that left him puzzled so he put the experiences on the shelf. But now he finds himself so fascinated by all this new information that he can no longer continue his comfortable lifestyle as a renowned speaker in the orthodox Episcopal church. This book is the 3rd he has written on his discoveries and it sounds like an episode of Ancient Astronauts. I intend to read his earlier books. Likewise, my whole concept of God has evolved over these last decades from an early evangelical past through some strange experiences and the study of many scholarly classes on the formation of the bible. Willis is a very honest and believable minister and I highly recommend reading his story and accumulating data, if you are more interested in truth than remaining comfortable in your early Sunday school belief system.
This is his worst one so far. Lots of personal accounts that are for me, hard to believe. Telepathy, remote viewing etc. I enjoy his books more when he's discussing ancient texts/history/myths and scrutinizing translations.
He also gets political for no reason I can see, going on about European colonialism in a manner that is quite one-sided and also quite trendy. He shows himself to be misinformed about several controversial political topics.
I love Paul's work, but this one I found off-putting. I would say he even goes so far as to lie by omission--for example, when relating the story of Captain Cook's landing in Australia. It's all unnecessary. It really doesn't have anything to do with his ideas, yet he get completely caught up in it. He sounds like a progressive zealot, and not the clear, original thinker he usually is. It's puzzling.
Coming from a Christian world view, it's still difficult to take it all in. But from watching the many well done videos and the well written series of books with stories from many others who have experienced the phenomenon first hand as well as stories from Paul life and travels are helping me open up to this alternative perspective of life and the universe.
Thanks again for the great work Paul.
If you're 'new' to this area, you might be best served by watching some of the great videos that Paul has available for free on his personal YouTube channel Paul Wallis, and his documentary channel The 5th Kind, and reading the books in order, as at least to me, they build on each other.
While I already knew some of what the author writes,he brings a whole new dimension to the truth about our history on this planet & the concerted efforts being taken by those who actually "run the show," to keep a lid on such things as the real meaning behind what was purportedly written by those who chronicled that story & the one currently facing us in the suppression of the real story behind ufos & aliens who we now know, according to Harvard University, are living among us & beneath us as well as on the moon & Mars, where they work alongside humans.
This 3rd book on Eden branch off into exciting knowledge of treasured cultural spiritual beliefs that I see now are vital to a cultures foundation and vital to they're unique identity. I learned some aspects of my religious sect that were difficult to read, but I've greatly appreciative to know the facts. I loved the encouragement Paul Wallis writes of to be all we have the potential to be. I can't wait to start the 4th book in this series and explore the ancient philosophical text Paul encourages readers to read.
As a little girl I was always interested in native people their believes and old civilisations. I devoured books on these subjects and made up my own conclusions as per hidden history. It is only in 2015 I came across the ET narratives and got on boards bridging old civilisations and our cosmic family. This book has it all joining all the dots and clarifying any doubts. Thank you Paul Wallis loved it
I just love Paul Wallis' books. I can find no flaw in his arguments and I love how gentle he is. There is no ego involved or pushing of an agenda as is customary in theology (and archeology and ... every other science I can think of). He is just pointing out the facts. Listening to three of his books has fully confirmed what I always suspected about biblical texts: the have been edited one to many times.
What can I say about this and Paul’s previous two Eden book. Simply astounding works in terms of their scope and breadth of knowledge. But more than this so human, humble and generous. This is a man I must meet some day. He has given me such hope. I am incredibly grateful.
I thoroughly enjoyed this fact-rich book and plan on following the author’s advice by researching the accessible sources that he referred to in forming the theme of this book. I think I’ll start be re-reading this one, maybe jotting down a few notes. This is a really interesting and fun and thought-provoking read.
Well, this third instalment has taken me further into the rabbit hole of cosmic super beings. This book comes loaded with information and various accounts of people's strange but enlightened experiences. This, in a nut shell has completely blown my mind ! Paul will allow you to digest piece by piece the clues to realisation, I'm sold, can't wait for the next one.
I very much enjoyed the author leading me along a path I did not know. His knowledge of the Gospel and its history captivated me. I did not understand or perhaps do not see the larger picture he describes.
His ideas are captivating his evidence unconvincing.
Eye opening idea and makes you think why all these cultures say the same thing about love thy neighbor And understand we are not alone in the universe. It’s a shame that religion has twisted the idea of loving ourselves and be kind but if you don’t believe the way I do your a heretic.
A super read. A rare weaving of ancient and current spiritual knowledge and its implication for today’s seekers of life’s eternal questions. I couldn’t put it down. Enjoy.
Very interesting sequel book. Going beyond the literal meaning and into the root key words surprising brings another world another meaning altogether. So comforting . Hope Paul will rewrite the synoptic gospels with these new interpretation and understanding.
Know that there is more to life than we can imagine
This is a dive into the hidden mystery of our past. It is hidden in plain sight within the pages of the Bible, folklore of indigenous people, the world of myth and the sacred books of many cultures.
Another fantastic book! Starting the next one. For those ready to join the revolution of reclaiming our past and been open to the fact that we might be a hybrid species, join us! Highly recommended!!
After reading this and two books before, I can only say that they are eye opening. I would recommend this one and the other two, to anyone. Especially Christians.
