Carly has arrived at Mystic Getaways, a B&B. She will be staying in what is called Summer House. She's brought her drawing implements. She has had a hard time but is relaxing so much and feeling peace that her memories return to her Ethan. She goes out with her camera to shoot the local animals and comes upon a wolf.
Ethan is arriving at Mystic Getaways for solitude to contemplate his role as alpha.He ran like a wolf the night before arriving and is remembering the woman he saw that reminded him of Carly. The hostess tells him he will be staying in the Summer House. He goes in and to the bedroom to find Carly sound asleep in the bed. He tries to leave but finds he's locked in with her.
She finds a book and reads through it and comes across something called Lunar Priestesses. Then he drops a mini bomb..he feels the invitation was a part of a prophecy. Her mind is quick and comes to understand that the prophecy is about them. Then Ethan finds a book on pack politics. They both realize that they are an important part in a prophecy. Now they must walk the path to their destinies.
A beautiful poignant story!.

Ethan and Carly’s story seems like it should be the precursor to a series. We start with them coming back together after being apart and we don’t know why they separated or all of what happened to Carly during that period. Just that it left her with extremely strong feelings of fear and distrust. I wish the Author had delved into that area a bit more so I could understand their drive to make things right and not question the fact they were brought together again, and for what purpose. That being said, I loved the fact she is a priestess of the moon and he a shifter, and that it makes their being together better for them and the pack, possibly the world. 4✨’s for a well written , sexy, magical shifter story. I just want more !

A beautiful tale of prophecy and two souls that have been separated. Their separation has not been easy and for Carly has left her with nightmares. As Ethan and Carly find their place in the prophecy, they will have to work together and hopefully recapture the love they once had and become stronger together and bring peace to the Pack. A heartwarming tale of a lost love found and bound together again that will captivate you. Full of magic and love you will be left unable to put the book down as you watch Ethan and Carly recapture and finally understand their importance to each other and the pack.

Good

While the writing in this book was fantastic , it was way to wordy and left things unsaid .. The story states that Ethan and Carly dated for awhile , but that's it not why they broke up or why , just that he never told her he was a wolf shifter , Carly get hurts by an ex and he leaves a huge scare again no explanation or story to go with it .. They are both invited to a mystical inn because they are together part of an ancient prophecy and they received the invites to a magic inn by a celestial being who needs to help them find their way to their destiny. Which is togeather .. The heat level was 0 but the story line was good , way to wordy in places and not wordy enough in others

This was my first book by Lexi Lennox as well as part of the Whispers of Fate series of standalone books by different authors that all involve the solar eclipse. It was fun getting to read a book involving a solar eclipse with one happening and I enjoyed the characters and story. I hope to read more from this series and author in the future.

Carly and Ethan receive invitations to a bed and breakfast retreat to view what is to be a spectacular eclipse. Both accept.....neither knows that the other one will be there. They were an item a decade ago but Ethan, an alpha wolf, didn't believe that Carly could be his mate because she is human. However, Fate has decided to take control so that destiny and prophecy can be fulfilled.

Carly arrives first. When Ethan arrives, he is assigned the same cabin. Imagine his surprise to find one bedroom.....and Carly in bed asleep in that one room. Imagine the reaction when they discover that they have been locked in....together!

A fast, entertaining read with a HEA ending. Enjoy!

Carly and Ethan used to be together but then Derek his friend stopped it, they both got an invitation to Mystic Getaway B & B. Carly arrived first went out in the night to take pictures the time she did the best and met a wolf who let her take pictures of it. Ethan arrived and was put in the same cabin then the cabin locked them in, she discovered a book that let her know what she really was and the prophecy they needed to complete. Ethan took care of a challenge to his alpha status and they completed the bond. Good book!.

Wolf Guardian And Moon Priestess
A short story to start the Whispers of Fate books. Carly and Ethan had a relationship when they were young, but continued their separate ways. No real explanation why. He became Alpha of his wolf shifter Pack and she got involved with a man who hurt her. With the dawning eclipse her moon magic asserts itself and lead by texts in the books they find in the B&B cottage, realize the reason they are together and willingly fulfill the prophecy. Their re-connection is swift and thorough.

What a wonderful shifter story. We follow Ethan and Carly. He is an alpha wolf shifter and she is human. Even though he thinks they're not right for each other because she's human and he walks away. But the feelings cannot be ignored and when they meet each other after a few years, the feelings are still there. When they watch a solar eclipse together, they are helped by a being who believes they belong together and does everything he can to bring them together again.

OMG 😱 this was a love story for Ethan and Carly. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was I on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down.This romance between them was absolutely incredible with a spicy of hotness. Was this their destiny of being together or will anyone try to stop them for being in love. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. Caspian is a Celestial being that uses a prophecy to help bring them back together. Giving them the nudge they need to complete the bond that was always meant to be.

Reuniting What is Fated

As part of the Whispers of Fate series, Ethan and Carly find themselves reunited by magic for a chance to unite and fulfill the prophecy. However, the scars of the separation run deep and coming back together is not easy. This was an entertaining short read which I enjoyed.

Loved this book! I also love the series. I've read all of them at this point and can't recommend them highly enough! There's magic, fates, prophesy, a bit of spice, and fated mates. I love the magical house trapping the couples in a room together! Meet your destiny!
