Just finished this beauty and holy sh1t was it amazing the characters and world building and pacing were absolutely phenomenal I cannot wait to see where Lexie’s journey takes her. Loved how much of a badass she became 😍

I don't even know where to begin with this one. Wow, just wow!
This book completely took me on the ultimate rollercoaster of emotions - up, down, sideways, upside down, and every which way in between. There are SO many mini chapter cliffhangers, too, that will make you BEG for more, so you just keep on trucking along!
Colby and Lexie have to learn how to re-navigate through life after all of the turmoil they endured during Warlock. But the twists and turns that unfold during Witch will have you picking up your jaw off the floor. (Cue the emotions picking up...)
Lexie becomes the ultimate bad@$$ ever imaginable. Seriously, can I be her when I grow up? 👀
I am so incredibly proud of you, BJ, for this spectacular book. Everything about this has shown how much you have grown as an author, your writing, your story, every single thing; between both books, and that alone makes me sob like a baby!
I am absolutely obsessed with the world of Strange Grove and cannot wait for more 😉

After reading the first book of this series, I jumped at the chance to get my games on this book. I was so excited to read it that it only took me a couple hours and I definitely read it in one go!!!
The story of Lexie and Colby is so incredible. They have a wonderful bond outside of the magical realm that magic just intensifies everything. Adding partners for Lexie really brought so much complexity to her character and so much great spice to both books!
The relationship between Lexie and Cassie grew in this book and I truly loved it. Cassie helped her through her trauma and gave her the ability to grow into the person she needed to become.
I’m really hoping there is another book, but regardless I will continue to read anything BJ Wolff writes!! Absolutely incredible!

B.J. Wolff flips from a third-person perspective to first-person in Strange Grove book two, Witch, and I think that was probably one of the best ideas, ever. I was hesitant that the switch would throw me off or not sit right but, I believe it helped me connect a little more to the story and the characters than I was able to in the first book.
In book 2, Lexie becomes a witch, but for what purpose? Is she jealous of the attention that Colby is getting, does she feel like it would help them connect on a level deeper than they already are, or hell, connect with all of her supernatural lovers better? I was unsure of how that was going to go down or was it simply so that she would have a magical place for Colby to place his magic wand?
Nope, none of that.
It's because Lexie is a literal badass and she deserved those powers. These powers come in quite handy too, so much so that she gets PUNISHED for her "good deeds"! Her fury for revenge was...perfect and I needed that revenge because I CRIED WAY TOO HARD and I was mad about it.
I was very satisfied with how it ended, celebrating that Cassie wanted to go away with Lexie. Do I want to see how things develop with them and see Lexie have that happy ending? Absolutely, however, if this is how it ends, I am also great with that.

That was one of the wildest rides a book has ever ever taken me on. I have read a lot of books in my life (A LOT) and never has a book taken me on such a ride. I was enthralled from the very beginning and by the end I was absolutely positively wrecked beyond repair, but I loved every single second of it.
Lexie is a strong as heck FMC who takes control of her life. She is fierce, powerful and badass. She gives off those touch them and croak vibes and I am totally here for it.
In this book there is the established couple from the first book, Colby and Lexie. Then the MMC who joined the couple, Malik. And then the newest edition to their relationship, Cassie. The book is amazingly written, steamy as a sauna, and has an absolutely riveting storyline.
Not giving anything away, but if you are looking to read this book (which I totally recommend you do) make sure you have tissues on hand because you will be needing them!

The Emotional Roller Coaster I Just Experienced!
This book was amazing! Let me tell you the emotional trauma I just experienced! I’m gonna need payment for my therapy! 😅
Absolutely amazing! Witch continues after the events in book 1 Warlock.
Colby and Lexie are finally able to move on from the attack in book 1. They believe life will continue on with their new normal the way it should have before. Unfortunately, not long after moving forward, they find themselves entangled in yet another dangerous mystery!
While trying to figure out what is happening, Lexie develops and grows her friendship with Cassie and together the two train to protect themselves and the ones they love.
But wait there’s more!!! After some serious heartbreak (thank you for ripping my heart out sir! 😭) Lexie becomes the full fledged bad bish she’s meant to be!
All in all this was an amazing story. And the spice…as always…the spice was top tier!

This is book 2 in the Strange Grove series. We have the same characters from book one in book two. The main character in this story is Lexie. We follow her in a journey in the world where she has no magic, but is surrounded by people that do. When danger comes again she’s forced to do what ever is needed to protect the people she loves. A lot happens in this story that I was not expecting. I absolutely loved everything. This book is spicy as well and oh my the werewolf scene was my favorite spicy scene. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the knotting. I absolutely recommend this story. In my personal opinion, the story keeps getting better and better. I do recommend you reading book one before diving into this one.

It’s finally time for book two of the Strange Grove series! In book two we see a flip from third-person perspective to first person, and I wasn’t mad about it.
Getting to see Lexie’s journey of growing into such a fierce woman was such a treat. Her story and her motivations for becoming a witch were so touching and just plain awesome. I wish I was as cool as Lexie.
I knew going in that this book would be funny, exciting, and nice and spicy. I also knew it was probably gonna hurt my feelings, and I was not wrong.
Overall, this series keeps getting better and better! I really enjoyed book one, but I couldn’t get enough of book two!

Following Warlock (sidenote make sure you read that first), I really enjoyed the switch to first person story telling. I think this really really highlighted @bj_wolff_author writing style better.

I laughed, I smiled, I cried, I bit my lip. I had all the feels reading this book. I, like many, dove into this sequel to Warlock to see who may get taken out. So much death and destruction! It felt like reading an action movie. Lexie battled from day one. She wanted what I think what most of us do...to protect what's ours and look good doing it! She believed in herself, which I loved about her! I was a little jealous of her werewolf camping moment. Me next! There is so much love throughout these books. Now, I'm going to find a squishmallow, a soft blanket, and a hug.

This book will rip your heart out, stomp on it and crush it and then hand it back. Lexie has to go on a journey to find herself and seek revenge. I truly cannot say much without giving too much away but this story is a beautiful one of self discovery, finding your strength after tremendous loss and being able to keep going.
This journey was a tough one but the story is so good! Lexie truly comes into her own and gains her powers. She hones her magic and is able to grow into a strong witch. This story is about self discovery, heartbreak and healing.

I'm an emotional wreck after reading this!!
That was a rollercoaster, but in the best way. Lexie is a bad ass! You'll never believe what her love for Colby and her curiosity of the supernatural world leads her.
The spice level of this book was also 👌 🔥!
It was sexy on a whole other level.
Read this!!!!! Be ready to feel every emotion and fall even deeper in love with Lexie!

My girl Lexie turned into a complete badass. (For well deserved reasons) Dave got what he had coming for sure. I can't wait to see more of her character growth.

You MUST read Warlock for this book to make sense. The s@xual journey and their relationship only make sense if you know how it started.
With that being said...Lexie is a little pistol. I love her. This book is completely in her POV, so it's quite a ride. This book is 🔥, 🌶, 🍆, and 😭. I lost it. A few times.
Make sure you check the trigger warnings and tropes. I tend to read things I've never read or seen until I get to a BJ Wolff book 😂 And the crazy in me keeps coming back for more...

This book was everything I hoped it could be and more I laughed, I cried, I worried, I fell in love and then I cried some more! This book was phenomenal and the story had me on the edge of my seat. So I didn't love the first one Warlock. I did not hate it either though. But I was curious to see where this story was going and let me say !!'n Go Fing Lexie !!!! Omg she was such a bad ass where in the first one I wasn't really getting that vibe from her. This installment was heart wrenching but also made my heart race at points. I really loved how this was written in "current time" but also flashbacks. And the spice ....... whoa this author does not disappoint lol!

I was not ready for this. I was excited going in but ohmygoodness was NOT ready for the full blown wave of emotions and feels. Or to have the whole story that we know get flipped upside down. I'm very excited to see where the next book goes. Ive really loved reading this series so far!

Holy Shit. BJ has done it again! I was not expecting to wake up and be laughing, crying, and taking a dive head first back into Strange Grove, but it was the best start to my day!
The deaths of beloved characters and watching Lexie go from broken to badass revenge seeker were the highlight of this book. I can’t wait to see what Cassie and Lexie get up to for the next two years, but I’m sure it’s going to be just as wild!

BJ wrote Lexie perfectly (in my opinion) she goes through major trauma but still finds a reason to keep fighting! Her pain fuels her to not only seek revenge on the ones that have wronged her but also grow as a person. Lexie has endless willpower when it comes to protecting the ones she loves, and I adore that about her.

Excuse me, sir. Warlock was great, but this sequel? It was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. What an amazing evolution of Lexie's story! All the emotions. I don't usually cry over books, but I cried, I laughed, I got angry, I melted - all the things. I wish I could read this for the first time all over again. I absolutely loved the strength of Lexie's character, her fierce determination and love, all while navigating so many turns in multiple aspects of her life.
I need to continue reading her story like RIGHT NOW. Please don't keep me waiting too long!
