From best selling author Mackenzy Fox comes the highly anticipated MC spin-off series from the Bracken Ridge
NOLA Rebels MC - (New Orleans Series Book 7)
Priest is gritty, MC vs Mafia, age gap, identity deception, motorcycle romance with a virgin FMC and a biker who vows celibacy in order to start over.
Priest
The night she came into my life, everything changed
It wasn’t like I meant it to happen
She was lost
Vulnerable
She had no place else to go
And while my intentions were not to take advantage
Temptation swept me under
I vowed that I’d protect her
Keep her safe
Do everything in my power to help her
But I never predicted the war brewing
The danger that sweeps over her, and my club
And if I’m forced to choose
There will be no redemption
Nowhere left to turn
No second chances
Only bloodshed
Isabella
I stopped believing a long time ago
I thought fairy tales were for little girls
But that was until I met him
Priest
The man who haunts my dreams
And every waking moment
Though I’m running away from my dark past
He takes the nightmares away
He makes the storm clouds fade
Where other men fear him, I see the good
I feel his presence
I see his soul
And when my past comes back to haunt me
I should run
I shouldn’t fall into his arms
Even if the danger out there lurking, could ensnare us both
I’ll sacrifice it all
For him
For the man I love
Until my last breath
The men of the NOLA Rebels MC will do anything for their club. They’re a brotherhood, a club who stands mighty, and above all else, they take care of business, New Orleans style.
The bikers may rule this city, but the women of the club have their hearts, and the men will do anything to protect what’s theirs.
It is part of a series, but can be read stand-alone with a HEA. This book is recommended for mature readers

My Thoughts: "Priest" by Mackenzy Fox is an age-gap MC + MAFIA romance novel and the seventh NOLA Rebels MC series book. There's not much to say other than it's a fantastic read. Entertaining, spicy, and well-developed characters.
I was so not disappointed with priest story at all. I got a bit more background on how he got into the mc and his nickname. Isabella young and still untouched definitely found guidance of the naughty kind with priest. Loved the age gap between them and the many surprises I encountered throughout their story. This book will not disappoint!
There was absolutely nothing not to love in this book. I can’t believe that Nola Rebels have come so far, and this is the seventh book in the series. We have met so many characters in the club and everyone has a unique personality just like Priest here has.
Well, I was, and I am waiting for all their stories but Priest is a very intriguing character himself, and the way he thinks and treats others is commendable. At the start of the book, he says ‘little one’ to Bella it just right there melted my heart.
The connection these two have is so genuine and over the top in good ways. Their love bloomed so peacefully with no secrets as the time passed that it all felt so surreal. I enjoyed the store very much and adored their interactions, teasing, and the light banter they had going at the start.
It’s all just wonderful and Mackenzy really writes amazing stories where I always get hooked and fall in love with her world. The last twist is the one that got me with what I was not expecting at all and I must say it’s a very good one. Read to find out.
Woah Mackenzy!!! I have been waiting for Priest’s book since Cash & you totally rocked it! His name may be Priest, but he’s far f/being one. This man was the total package- caring, protective, a complete cinnamon roll hero. But boy was he sexy as hell, & that mouth! I loved how you wrote his & Bella’s story. It was one of my favorites. I loved that she was a virgin, & I liked how Priest took a vow of celibacy & wasn’t w/anyone for awhile. I thought it made it so much more special when he & Bella were together the first time. You did an amazing job writing Priest & Bella. From start to finish it was perfect & I loved their ending the most. These two were the best thing ever. The way you write your bikers so protective & love so fiercely is what makes your MC series some of my most favorites. And I have to just mention that the twist in the end totally blew my mind! I wasn’t expecting it, but man did I love it!! I can’t wait til August for Nevada!
Ohh Priest, you are the sweetest of them all!!! I knew you were going to be so loving and caring. But Bella? I didn’t see that curved ball at all. This book got me so excited, tearing my eyes out! Pries meets this homeless girl with a Secret past. He is a protector, he wants to help everyone. She is no exception. After something happens to her. He vows to help her get her life back, but ohh boy, when those secrets come to light, you have no idea it could be possible. I loved it, I feel I went through so fast! Seeing more of the MC brothers together, it’s amazing, I can’t get enough of this series, I don’t want it to end. Priest fell hard and fast and I loved it! Totally recommend this whole series 💛💛💛💛
I had been waiting for Priest’s story. We’ve gotten to see bits and pieces of him and how he always helps everyone else and sees past most things. I was curious as to how his story would develop and it did not disappoint. He of course, sees through Bella right away. Bella is on the run from her family, and she’s trying to stay hidden and survive all at once. She tries to keep Priest and the others at arms length in the beginning, but they slowly earn her trust. I feel like they see one another in a different way and just immediately understand. Their story was so good and even had a few twists that made me gasp. As always, I’m looking forward to the next one!
I'm almost positive Mackenzy gets just as lost in her writing as I do in reading. She makes a romance book seem so real. Priest and Bella were everything to me. Priest the big bad alpha that was undeniably a golden retriever and I loved it. This man's actions and words were perfect for Bella. She needed him just as much as he needed her. Their chemistry was wow I mean plain and simply amazing. I have eaten this series up but this book was everything to me. Also, that twist caused my eyes to bug out because I truly did not expect it. I can't beg enough but this book and this series are worth reading!
Just when I think I can’t love another NOLA Rebel more than the last one.. Mackenzy is like hold that thought! Priest was EVERYTHING I hoped he’d be and then some! The FMC and her story is not at all what I was expecting… I loved that so much! This world Mackenzy has created and these characters are INCREDIBLE! The banter, the tension, the spice… my heavens the spice… it will have you fanning yourself!
Woo! Priest was HOT! I loved it! It may have just become my favorite in the series! I wasn’t expecting the little twist at the end but it also makes so much sense. Definitely recommend!

Okay.. First let me breathe... Omg.. Priest, that man is an amazing and ultimate cinnamon hero with a rocking childhood.
If we talk about Isabella is strong , resilient yet scarred FMC. She is vulnerable but the way the author has written it is commendable and I like how she thanks Priest as her anchor.
Priest is smitten for Isabella who has nowhere to go. Priest is really strong , protective(not in a bad manner), compassionate and the most mysterious yet sexy man alive.
As the story unfolds, Bella starts to trust him. And priest on the other hand is fighting with his own feelings and the pull he is feeling for Bella.
The author knows how to push buttons and keep the readers on their toes and that's what happens here. The more you read it, the more you gasp throughout the book.
The spice is toe-curling and ahm should I talk about the famous church scene... Well for that you have to read the book.
Bless me father for I love this book PRIEST more than is possibly normal! OMG this Book is an absolute Must Read ! PRIEST is Hot, PRIEST is compelling suspenseful and will leave you feeling the need for a confessional. This for sure is one of the best out of the series you won’t want to miss if you’ve been following NOLA Rebels MC-New Orleans !
Ok, Let’s get into this!
PRIEST is a captivating romance book showcases the themes of redemption, struggle Survival, sacrifice, and Trauma while juxtaposition Good verses Evil. The storyline is driven by the intense brooding and hot as sin compassionate Priest Xavier Samuel Grieves, a man with a haunted past and penchant for fixing and helping others, and it’s also about the mysterious beautiful Isabella, a woman trying to escape her own mysterious past.
He’s protective. He’s generous. He’s funny. He’s Smart. Sexy. And he has a hot name…
The by chance brief encounter sets the scene for an emotionally passionate suspenseful charged story into Priest and Isabella’s journey.
Priest finds himself drawn to Isabella, a young hauntingly vulnerable woman who’s seemingly homeless. But Listen, From The beginning it was clear about the palpable attraction between the two characters, one that is both electrifying and riddled with the hint of something more and dangerous. Priest's characteristics are intriguing to say the least, His vow to protect Isabella is both noble and fraught with inner conflict that’s hi lighted throughout this story, The Author does an amazing job showcasing the many qualities of Priest's persona, (which absolutely I love) revealing a man who is loyal fierce and compassionate and downright sexy! A empathetic hero a man compelled to becoming the champion for the little people especially women and children. And his struggle to resist temptation while striving to keep Isabella safe..whew..that only adds so much depth to the protagonist that makes his internal battles even more compelling. 🖤 “I Don’t even think that I could repent for the sins that I want to commit to the beautiful, mysterious woman”. 💛 But man alive the Temptation was so strong, trust me when I say that Isabella really did not make it easy for Priest in that moment.. this girl .. SMH..sigh. This I think was a modern day retelling of Samson and Delilah with some twist and exceptions I tell you, Poor Samuel ! 🖤 “Will I go to hell for this, Baby girl?” 💛 Isabella on the other hand, is portrayed in the beginning as soft shy character in need of protection from the big bad world and was in need of a savior .. preferably Priest ! (Yup me too girl ) But as the story goes along we see that this girl is stronger than first appears and is wickedly tempting. 🖤 My dick aches in my sweatpants and I reach my hand inside to stroke myself. “Pull it out,” she whispers. My eyes meet hers. “Pull your big c@ck out and let me see what I do to you.” 💛 One day I was celibate and abstaining to help reaffirm my goals and commitment to God, and the next I’m falling in love with a mafia princess who I’d walk through the pits of Hell to protect.” 🖤 And so the it begins….. 💛🖤🏍️ Please note this my first read of this series and when I tell you that LOVE this book believe me ..it now has me well and truly hooked into the NOLA series ! Yup I want me a Priest to Listen my Confessions! There’s so much more I could elaborated on but.. Yeah definitely a must read I tell you ! So check your Triggers and get to reading. 🏍️ If You love 💛🖤 * 🖤MC * 💛MAFIA * 🖤Club's spiritual advisor * 💛Identity deception * 🖤Homeless heroine * 💛Age gap (10 years) * 🖤Virgin FMC * 💛Biker who vows celibacy * 🖤He has a dark past * 💛He teaches her * 🖤Ultimate Cinnamon Roll * 💛Possessive MC * 🖤Found Family * 💛HEA

"Priest" by Mackenzy Fox is a dark and captivating romance that delves deep into the themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the struggle between light and darkness. The narrative is driven by the intense and tumultuous relationship between Priest, a man with a haunted past, and Isabella, a woman fleeing her own demons.
The story begins with a chance encounter that sets the stage for an emotionally charged journey. Priest, a complex and brooding character, finds himself drawn to Isabella, a vulnerable woman with nowhere else to turn. From the outset, Mackenzy Fox establishes a palpable tension between the characters, one that is both electrifying and fraught with danger.
Priest's character is intriguing, embodying the archetype of the tortured hero. His vow to protect Isabella is both noble and fraught with inner conflict. Mackenzy Fox does an excellent job of peeling back the layers of Priest's persona, revealing a man who is simultaneously fierce and compassionate. His struggle to resist temptation while striving to keep Isabella safe adds depth to his character and makes his internal battles compelling.
Isabella, on the other hand, is portrayed as a resilient yet scarred heroine. Her past has left her wary and disillusioned, yet she finds solace and safety in Priest’s presence. Mackenzy Fox portrays her vulnerability with sensitivity, while also highlighting her inner strength and determination. Isabella’s perspective offers a poignant counterpoint to Priest’s, providing insight into her fears and hopes.
The romance between Priest and Isabella is intense and all-consuming. Mackenzy Fox expertly navigates their relationship, balancing moments of tenderness with raw passion. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and their connection feels both inevitable and dangerous. The forbidden nature of their relationship, given the looming threats and their respective pasts, adds an edge to their interactions.
The backdrop of the story, with its elements of danger and looming threats, creates a sense of urgency and suspense. Mackenzy Fox weaves a narrative that is as much about survival and protection as it is about love. The stakes are high, and the tension is maintained throughout, keeping the reader on edge as the plot unfolds.
Mackenzy Fox’s writing is evocative and immersive, capturing the gritty reality of the characters’ world while also exploring the emotional landscapes of Priest and Isabella. The dialogue is sharp and authentic, and the pacing is well-handled, with each chapter building on the tension and drawing the reader deeper into the story.
"Priest" also explores themes of redemption and sacrifice. Both Priest and Isabella are haunted by their pasts, and their journey together is as much about healing and finding redemption as it is about love. The choices they face and the sacrifices they are willing to make for each other add emotional weight to the narrative.
In conclusion, "Priest" by Mackenzy Fox is a gripping and emotionally charged romance that will appeal to readers who enjoy dark, intense love stories. With its well-drawn characters, high-stakes plot, and evocative writing, this book is a standout in its genre. The journey of Priest and Isabella is one of passion, danger, and ultimately, redemption, making "Priest" a compelling read from start to finish.
Priest is definitely a man I wanted to know more about. From the earlier books in this series, he is not like the other members of the MC. He's got all of the outer traits, of course, hot AF, tattoos, badass look, built like he could break you, and a little scary. His character is quite different though. He's quiet, thoughtful, spiritual, wise, and reserved. He's not always been this way of course, but it is the man he's been since starting with the MC.
His and Isabella's story is an age gap and a little forbidden since Priest has taken a celibacy vow.
Isabella is on the run leaving her very wealthy life behind due to her pre-planned future. Being a woman in her family matters very little but with the looming threats of a forced marriage, she runs when an opportunity arises. There is a way out of the life she is living on the street but she's got to find a way to get to it without being found. She's very sweet, not naive of the world but sheltered from it in ways.
They have quite a sweet relationship to start with Priest wanting to watch over her, but of course, that underlying chemistry can't be fought for too long.
I thought their story was great and I enjoyed it. . . . Priest went from jail to the MC and he found himself in a way becoming the man he is and more recently, he's taken his role as spiritual leader to a new level taking a vow of celibacy. He feels he needs to focus on himself to become a better man to be more beneficial to his club. His life has become boring and repetitive in some ways and he needs to reset to change. Helping out his friend and priest, Dan.
Isabella needs the soup kitchen to survive right now. After taking her opportunity and running from her life she's been living on the streets just scraping by. She needs to get to Texas because before her grandmother died she told her that her mother left something for her. To get to Texas she needs money, to get money she needs to work and somehow she needs to do it all without anyone from her old life spotting her.
When the young woman shows up at the soup clinic Priest notices. She's scared and very timid and he wants to help, but she runs. When she shows up again all of Priest's instincts kick in telling him to find out about her and make sure she is safe. Slowly gaining her trust and getting her to spend more time around the kitchen he hopes to change things for her.
After a dangerous encounter, Isabella knows that she's running out of time. She needs to find a way to Texas and out of the life she's stuck in. It's only when Priest finds her that she feels safe again and suddenly swept into his world should be terrifying but his promises to help her and keep her safe give her strength. 'This man does things to me that no man ever has. He makes me feel things that are forbidden and wrong. But every time he utters a kind word, I want to bury myself in all things Priest and not come up for air.'
He could have taken her plenty of places but he only took her to his house and taking her to the clubhouse could be a mess, but he won't let her out of his sight and it's not just for her safety. Now that he's getting to know her and her secrets he finds out just how much danger she is in and all he wants is to keep her safe and his forever. 'There is only this moment. That's all we have. Me and her. And I'm not going to spend a single second wasting it. Living my life from this day forward includes her. Now and forever. That's what I know.'
↓↓ YYYYYYEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!! We finally get Priest, I have been waiting for him since the first book in the series and this man did not disappoint. He may be called Priest but he is far from that.
Priest had a rocky childhood, got himself in trouble and found himself serving some time. He met Riot while in, who was patched in the NOLA Rebels MC, he brought up the whole spiritual advisor and Priest was sold. He got out changed his life for the better, patched in to the Rebels and never looked back. This man, is so sweet, caring, fiercely protective of the one's he cares about and will stop at nothing to ensure the woman he loves is cared for and safe. That man 😮💨 he is everything!
Bella ran from home and the life that was expected of her. She runs into Priest at the homeless shelter one night and you could just feel the instant connection between these two. She is so fierce and dtrong. The banter was amazing, the spice was hot and the emotions and feelings between them was intense.
Ummmm I did not see that plot twist at the end. My jaw dropped to the floor. I don't know how anything else in the series can top my man Priest but I'm excited to find out.

OMG!!! I have been waiting for more about Priest and after reading his story I can say with all honesty that I am so in LOVE with Priest!!! His story was everything I was hoping for plus a whole hell of a lot more.
Priest is a man with a sordid past. But after prison the MC life changed him for the better. He’s the kind of man that can read people with just one look and is willing to do anything to help and protect them.
My heart was in a chokehold over Bella and all that she has had to endure and what she must continue to go through just to survive each day. She is a survivor.
The connection between Priest and Bella was not instantaneous, but there was something building there. Priest did feel very protective over her right away, and he knew that he needed to find out more about her someway and somehow.
The way that Priest and Bella’s relationship starts to flourish felt very natural and organic to me. It was absolutely wonderful to watch the love blossom between them slowly but beautifully. Their interactions had me giggling and swooning over just how perfect they were together. Their banter was filled with sweetness, jokes, adorable teasing, and heartwarming moments. I could not keep a smile off my face whenever they were together.
Let me not forget to mention the spice, because it was so freaking hot, utterly delicious and sinful in every way!
This story was just amazing. It was beautifully written but did contain action, suspense, danger and a bit of violence that we have come to love with this series. But it also had so much wonderfulness contained in it and the only thing that mattered was Priest and Bella together in the end.
I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. Ohhhhh Priest, I have always been very curious about him and his story! THIS MAN, he was absolutely PERFECT in every way! He’s always been the most mysterious of all of the MC members, in my opinion, and I LOVED seeing him in his real element. He hasn’t dated a woman in quite a while and has put himself on a sort of temporary $3x hiatus, vowing to not be with any women. Bella is on the run and shows up to the soup kitchen where Priest is helping out, and he takes to her immediately. Something about her has him enamored, and all he wants to do is protect her. She just wants to keep to herself and go unnoticed, but something about him has her wanting to keep coming back. After finding herself in trouble, Priest finds her and insists she stay with him ,and not go back to the shelter. The more time they spend together, the more Bella begins to trust him and feels an attraction towards him. Priest tries to fight his feelings for her, but the two of them together are inevitable. Once they share one moment together, they know there’s no stopping what is growing between them. You can feel the pure fire between them, and that mouth on Priest. MY LORDDDDD. I loved that despite all that Bella has been through in her life, she remains self-confident and her inner strength never waivers. The chemistry was so palpable between them, you could easily see how their souls were made for one another. I truly loved this story, and seeing Priest for who he truly is. This series is so good and will keep me coming back for more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is part of the NOLA MC Rebels series but you can definitely read this as a standalone. This was my first Rebels book and I loved it!!
We meet Bella who is homeless after running from her family who was going to force her into an arranged marriage. She meets Priest at a soup kitchen and while they clearly have a connection she desperately is trying to keep her past a secret. He vows to protect her and she slowly starts to trust him…but can she keep her past a secret?
I loved Bella and Priest together!! Bella was so strong and resilient and my heart broke for what she had been through. She was able to keep true to herself. I loved that Priest was very protective but also was a complete ooey gooey cinnamon roll! I loved seeing this big biker be so incredibly sweet to Bella…oh and he has quite the mouth on him 😉
Learning about Priest’s past and how he became a Rebel made me love him even more. He had to work to gain her trust and once he did it was 🔥🔥. Reading this book it truly felt like these were always meant to be together.
No spoilers but I did not see that plot twist coming!! I completely hooked on this series and will definitely be reading the other books! Nevada is next!
What to Expect: 🔥MC vs Mafia 🔥Age Gap (10 years) 🔥Secret Identity 🔥Biker who vows celibacy in order to start over 🔥MC Club Spiritual Advisor 🍭Ultimate Cinnamon Roll MMC 🔥He has a dark past
I love love love the Nola Rebels MC series so much. All of the books and characters that I have read in this series have all been so good. I love the fact of how different they all are and how unique their love stories end up to be. In particular, this book Priest blew me away completely, and I am very smitten with our MMC of this book, to say the least.
I loved the journey within this book that Mackenzy takes us on when we read about what has happened and what was going to happen. The characters in this book were such a good pairing, and there were times that I did not see large parts of the book coming at all. Priest is such a cinnamon roll type character deep down, and I, for one, loved that aspect of him so much. Then we have our lovely FMC Isabella, who took me by complete surprise.
The tropes in this book just worked perfectly and were definitely some of my favourite ones to read about. I loved how deep the storyline got, and the whole feeling of uncertainty at times just kept me on edge and was not able to put the book down at those certain scenes.
The writing in this book once again was such a good standard that was so clear and easy to read and really helped to grasp the key aspects of the story. It's just safe to say that at this point, anything that Mackenzy writes I will read as I just love her books so much.
Mackenzy you’ve gone and done it again. You make each book my favorite in the series. Just like you make me fall completely in love with the MMC every time.
Priest was worth the wait; both the book and the man. I’ve been dying for Priests story since we were first introduced and it was everything.
I always love that each book has just enough love story, just enough MC business, and just enough personal history. It’s the perfect blend. Oh also the spice. The spice is NICEEEE.
Priest was the perfect MMC. Protective, kind, caring, and fiercely loyal. He loved Bella with everything he had and wasn’t afraid who knew it. He would have burned the world down to keep her safe. Oh and his dirty talk was 🔥🔥
Bella was one of my favorite FMC’s in the series so far. She did not let her past or her circumstances define who she could be. She was so loving and kind and knew what she wanted.
The love between Priest and Bella was beautiful; they were meant to find one another.
There was a major twist towards the end that had me gasp out loud, but it brought the NOLA world together seamlessly. Great twist Mackenzy!!!
Thank you for bringing this world to us, Mackenzy! And thank you for providing me with an eARC so that I can experience it early!

Priest by Mackenzy Fox Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 Book 7 of the NOLA rebels MC. (But can be read as a standalone) Release date: 6/16
This is my first Mackenzy Fox book, she delivered in the forbidden department and Motorcycle/mafia club that’s for sure.
Priest, a 31 year old man who is trying to better his life by vowing to celibacy and attempting to start a new leaf in life. He has a very torturous past and a violent one at that. He volunteers at the soup kitchen where he meets the one girl He can’t have.
Bella, a 21 year old who also is attempting to start with a clean slate at her life, running from a dark past that was extremely toxic and forcing her to leave everything she knew behind. Maintaining a low profile and trying to make herself look scarce, she meets Priest at the soup kitchen
So many buttons are pressed in this book. From cover to cover, this book breathes FORBIDDEN vibes. I immediately devoured it when it came down to play time.
The 🔥 scenes were extremely generous and detailed very well. Also, did I mention there’s like 10 of them?!
Pick this book up on Father’s Day lol get it. So you too can enjoy Priest!

***Review copy requested and reviewed on behalf of OMGReads Blog***
Priest is book seven in the NOLA Rebels MC Series. This book was an MC vs Mafia, age gap, friends to lovers, identity deception, motorcycle romance. The story revolves around Priest and Isabella.
Priest is the MC's spiritual adviser. He was in the middle of being celibate when he meets Isabella because he needed to "cleanse himself." Isabella is a runaway Mafia Princess who is currently homeless when she meets Priest. She was shy and timid the first half of the book then comes out of her shell a little.
The motorcycle club is not a 1% club. They mostly do community work and occasionally have to toe the line with violence in order to protect their loved ones and their community from mobsters and other threats.
Personally I didn't really get into this book. It was just OK. I thought the story and charcaters were cheesey/corny, especially the sex scenses. The plot tended to be predictable and the ending threw in the most unnecessary, random plot twist. I also didn't feel the character growth was organic, especially with Isabella.
The writing was good and the author has a thorough story, it just was not my cup of tea. The series will continue on to book eight. Although not necessary, these books may be better enjoyed if started at book one of the series.
Priest by Mackenzy Fox was an exciting and consuming book. This is the first I have read by this author, and I am obsessed. I love the MC romance, and this book hit all my check marks for things I like in a book. There is action, suspense, mystery, drama, a lot of angst and spice. I thought that the book's storyline was original and page-turning. I could not put this book down until I reached the end because I had to know every detail of what would happen next with the plot and the main characters. This book was beautifully written with vivid details and a captivating plot. This book is a dark MC, age gap romance romance, and touches on dark themes and topics. It is also book seven in the NOLA Rebels MC series and can be read as a standalone. I am so excited to devour this series and meet the other characters.
I loved Priest; he was dark and broody. He was a total Alpha, was loyal to the MC, and was determined to be a better man. Isabella was trying to survive and was determined to get what she needed at any cost. I loved their chemistry; it was like magnets pulling each other together no matter how hard they fought against it. I loved the angst and build-up of their feelings the most. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming. I laughed and cried, and maybe threw a few fist-pumps!! Bring the tissues and chocolates when beginning this book. 4.5 stars-By Brooke
4⭐️. Yet another great addition to this series! I guess I never realized how young Priest actually was or maybe his descriptors were left vague, (I read so freaken much and often that as soon as I finish a book, if you asked me about it, my brain turns to oatmeal..so it really might be me lol) but I loved him. He was the sweetest of the NOLA rebels to date, but that sweetness doesn’t mean he wasn’t the possessive dirty bird I needed him to be. He met Bella and really just wanted to help a woman he found to be down on her luck but fate had other plans.
I liked Bella too. She seemed meek and wanted to lay low but wasn’t afraid to call out when women were rude or disrespectful to her at the clubhouse. So the meek and demure was more so she wouldn’t draw attention to herself. And she was like Priest in that she wasn’t planning on him but once he entered her life, she couldn’t ignore it. Once that was in motion, she had no problem going for what she wanted.
I could see the writing on the wall regarding where the story was going, her being Italian and all. But the story was still a good pace and no 3rd act breakup due to adults not communicating so I’m always happy with that.
And FINALLY, we will get to see Nevada brought to his knees by a sassy firecracker. 🤣😍. Can’t wait to continue the series.

This is my first book by this author.
Just a taste 🗣
Bella is a Mafia princess but her family is so terrible to her and wants her to marry a very bad man. She finally sees her out and leaves. And this is where our story begins....
My Thoughts 💭
I loved how strong Bella was for leaving her situation.
I also loved her and Priest together, they both had the same faith and both understood one another in that sense.
I wished there was more description when they did take his motorcycle as in a MC book one of my favorite things is when they describe touching her leg and how it feels to have that person on the bike, we got that a little but I wish there was more. Just my personal preference.
I loved that Bella turned her life around and the MC welcomed her into open arms, that's another thing I love about MC books, the found family aspect.
This was my first book by this author and it didn't dissapoint.
This book is everything that represents the NOLA rebels. How the brotherhood come together, stand up and stand by each other, care for one another and just is whatever someone needs through the highs and lows of life.
I love everything about this series and this book might beat the other of the pedistal. Their chemistry is fireworks, their support and communication is what we all dream of. They just fit. Age means nothing with these two, and yes they are legal. She is in her twenties and he is in his thirties.
Bella is this fierce strong FMC running for her life. Though people putting her down has dampen her spirit a bit. Her family is bad people that we have meet in other books in this series, and she was to be married off. Now she is scared for her life, scared of being found, scared of not belonging. But meeting Priest gives her a purpose. She is drawn to him. How he helps people, his calmness, she feels safe in his presence.
Priest is just wauw. The moody silent man we have from the other books is nowhere in sight. Priest is fire and rain at the same time. He is so freaking sweet, levelheaded, calm, in sync with everything around Bella. She is his safe place. Everything draws him in. Agegap be damned. He feels hos only mission in life is to keep her happy.
