Never Again: The Raven's book1

Rate this book
Leah grew up in a loving home with a doting mother and father. She had expected to be a part of the same type of household when she found out at twenty that she was pregnant. Life doesn't always go as planned, though, and Leah soon learns how cruel the world can really be. Now, she has decided to be content alone with her 6-year-old daughter.

Elijah Hicks is an ex-marine and now the leader of The Ravens, a local motorcycle club. He has watched his newest employee, Leah. He's not sure what about the curvy brunette that attracts him so much, but he can't seem to get her off of his mind. He has never even contemplated a serious relationship, but something about her makes him think about a future he had never before imagined.

But if there is one thing Leah is good at, it is throwing brick walls in his face. Is Elijah willing or able to climb her walls and figure out what makes her so guarded? If he can, will he be willing to stick around and do the work to earn her trust?

Something to be said about a man that knows what he wants

Wild (MMC) and Leah’s (FMC)story certainly starts off rocky. I wouldn’t say enemies to lovers more working relationship to lovers.

Leah is a single mom now who left a very dark past behind her. I seriously recommend reading the trigger warnings here there are some strong triggering items such as exploitation of a minor girl. Wild is the leader of the local Mc the ravens in the town she’s travelled to. She gets work in one of Wild’s businesses and comes on harder times as threats from the past come back to haunt her.

One of the biggest things I loved about this book was Wild’s and the rest of the Mc leaderships interactions with Amy, Leah’s daughter. That was beautifully done.

Maybe I read too much unhinged dark romance but I wouldn’t say enemies have liked to see a continuation of that ending…when you read you’ll know.

Also that epilogue …my heart!

Can’t wait for more books in this series I rate this one a solid 4⭐️ like I said would have liked to have seen that ended expanded upon and while spice was implied there wasn’t much on page so that gets a 🌶️ from me!

This book had me so intrigued with all the drama. I felt like I just wanted to see Leah and Amy have a happy ever after, and Wild made me so happy with how much he just wanted to help and protect.

Leah works at a bar that Wild owns, and Wild takes a liking to her and wants her to be his. So we get to see him try to win her over. As for Leah, she has left two horrible relationships already, so she is guarded and doesn't trust men easily.

This gave me SOA and Tyler Perry's movie vibes, too! So good!

Great read! Where is book 2??

New author for me and this book did not disappoint. I like to see the bad guys get the punishments that they deserve. This book didn't have that aspect to it. Poor Amy, no child should have to go through what she did.

Did i read this book in 4hrs, Yes yes i did and i loved it. I highly recommend this book. It's so good. The novel delves into themes of trust, healing, and the pursuit of happiness after trauma. Leah’s character embodies the challenges of overcoming past abuses and the struggle to open up to new possibilities. Wild’s character provides a contrast, showcasing a protective and patient partner willing to confront his own preconceptions for the sake of love. I need the rest of the books released and her entire series!

This book pulled at the heartstrings !! You follow a member of a motorcycle gang, who proves that all bikers guys aren’t mean, and a woman with a child who have been through some hard stuff. It has touch her and you 💀💀 drama along with learning trust again. It grabs your attention, has a bombshell plot twist, and the ending 😳😳 definitely worth the read.

I LOVED this book! As an avid dark romance reader I feel like this is a great book to tip your toes in the water if your new to dark romance. There's some darker themes and talk of SA and domestic abuse so be mindful of your triggers. But I cannot wait to read book two!!!
