Je suis assez perplexe.

Il y a des ingrédients que j'aime beaucoup et en même temps, le tout mis ensemble ne m'a pas convaincue.

Graphiquement, c'est très beau et à la fois très particulier. C'est un travail colossal ! L'attention aux détails est parfois très poussée. Les environnements sont changeants et les personnages souvent sans visage. Malheureusement, j'ai mis plus de la moitié de la BD à comprendre qui est qui. Sans visage et avec une mise en page audacieuse, l'autrice m'a finalement perdue.
On est dans un univers dystopique et dans un contexte étudiant. Ce qui aurait également pu me plaire, mais j'ai eu du mal à m'attacher aux personnages et à percevoir une distance critique. Peut-être qu'elle était censée aller de soi? oui, c'est vrai mais finalement, ça reste un peu trop en surface selon mon goût.

En bref, de très bons ingrédients, mais au final un cocktail décevant en ce qui me concerne.
Cependant, je serai attentive à ce que l'autrice propose à l'avenir car je crois qu'elle peut nous proposer de grandes choses !

bought this because i was instantly attracted by the art style. it is so peculiar but at the same time captivating... it was nothing that i had seen before and i loved it.
the story was not the same. i read it without knowing anything about the genre so a lot of things in this society felt weird and a bit disgusting. but then i slept on it and realised only the day after that it was written to be a dystopia and everything made sense (i know i'm not the smartest lol).
the storytelling was very smart, really reflecting the manipulation of the media. i LOVED this.

Déception !
L'objet est magnifique et le scénario dystopique semblait intéressant.
Mais la lecture ne m'a pas semblé claire.
La forme un peu chaotique y est peut-être pour quelque chose : qui parle ? je me suis posée la question trop souvent.
Bref, pour cause d'incompréhension sans doute, je n'ai pas accroché.

This one is weird as hell, and it's really hard to read due to all the designy artsy fartsy stuff. Doesn't need to be a bad thing, it does look cool as hell! It was hard to follow the story, and I didn't care about any of the characters' egos.
