Rate this book
After the events of the past eight months—the fear, death, and failures—the inevitable conclusion approaches. With Sibon’s desire for their power and her commitment to building her strength, everyone in the Nexus must be prepared for a fight. Unfortunately, working together may prove to be their most difficult task. An unlikely ally, however, could be the difference between death and an eternity with their mates.

Seraphim and Ruth are the last pieces that must align in order for them to wield the sort of power it will take to end the last of the Iraivan. Finding harmony within their bond is proving to be more difficult than they could’ve expected, and with their current disunity, they have no chance against the might of a being that was once known as a god.

If the two of them can’t find a way through the trials they face, all six of them will fall, and the fate of the world could be the cost of their failure.

I'm a self-published author who generally has a dozen projects going at one time. Check out one of my completed series or follow along with what's currently ongoing.

I was born in Portland, OR and I will unashamedly claim that the PNW is the best place to be. Catch me with an iced coffee in hand, even in the rain and snow.

My main genres are romance and fantasy. Some of my content is very dark, but it varies by book/series, so please check the content warnings in each book before diving in!

I hope you enjoy my books and leave me a review with your honest opinion!

✨ARC Review✨

SOBBING AND HEARTBROKEN. 😭
Won’t lie, kinda sad this is all over. 🥹

Loved this, I have been DYING for a peek into Seraphim’s twisted tortured soul. But it cost me my whole damn heart, and I hate that.

Lock and Sam are still as chaotic as ever. But the characters you get to know in this book are amazing. Sassy Vassy? Love him. 🫶🏻

It has smut, the drama (of course), the fights, everything. 💁🏻‍♀️
Won’t lie, a few parts had me worried about everyone, I’m too invested in these characters. And I had a right to be worried, the ending broke my goddamned heart.
WHY DO THAT. 😭

Such an amazing series and one of my favourites ever! 🖤

"We were close enough that when she rose on her toes, her lips met mine. Everything else ceased to exist. The entire world could be exploding right now and this would be the only thing that mattered."

Iraivan is the final book in Madilyn DeRose's amazing 5 book Malefic Bloodlines series, and it continues on with the overarching story from the previous four books, focusing on the final couple. These must be read in order!

This is Ruth and Seraphim's story.

There are some very dark themes so do check the author's notes.

What To Expect:

❥MF/MFM PNR
❥Vampires
❥All the angst
❥All the spice
❥Magic
❥Violence
❥Dark themes
❥Hard won HEA

Loved everything about it!

I can’t sit here and say I’m happy that the series is finished. I’m truly heartbroken that it is. I’m so invested into Madeline‘s work and one day. I hope that she makes it and this series and the faded pages gets noticed like it deserves like I said, before, not every other author can write something so in depth and focus she has every type of emotion. I thought they couldn’t come together and put their differences aside the whole series had their own ups and downs! Each book had a new couple but still had ties to the ones previous to that book. Each book was a complete step to the foundations of writing a perfect series! Emotionally, plot, setting etc Maddie has our done herself. The ending had me sobbing like an a mess. After everything was said and done they still all remained as couples! Such a perfect wrap up of the series well done 👏👏👏👏👏

Oh my goodness that was amazing, I’m so sad it’s over. I feel like I’ve been through the wringer emotionally and I’m not sure I can forgive the author for some of it!
It was the perfect end to Sam and Lock’s screwed up and emotionally dysfunctional story. It is hard going in places, this is not a book you finish in one sitting, but it is so worth the journey. This author is the queen of balancing darkness, humour, mystery and love, weaving all the strands into something so heartbreakingly beautiful you don’t want it to end.
As with all of her books read the trigger warnings, she does not mess around. This is the last in a 5 part series so definitely start with Hemlock and hold on tight!

I have loved every character throughout this series! Madilyn does not disappoint! With the nexus on the line of destruction, lock, Sam, Alex, mark, ru, vas and ser must become one and build the strength needed to beat sibon. While each over coming their weaknesses and finding their strengths they learn to trust their mates and each other. This is a multi person POV book and must read the previous 4 books to understand! Lots of banter, angst, and spice!

Great book. It was a page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Ruth and Seraphim moments was intense and entertaining. The danger and the desire was captivating of madness of love overcome in their journey of romance.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed.

Iraivan by Madilyn DeRose was bittersweet. As a whole this series was five stars! I loved this world and am devastated that it is over. However I will not miss Sam nor Lock, quite frankly they became just a little too much. Ser, Vas and Ruth hold a special place in my heart. Madilyn is an amazing author and I can’t wait to see what more she has in store for us. Thank you for this journey!

I hate that this was the end. I loved the characters so much that I hate to say goodbye. I know the relationship's weren't healthy but I loved it. This was crazy, steamy and emotional af. I was never a fan of Ruth. But the first and second book had such a impact on me that I got a Belladonna and skull tattoo.

A good one, A twisted dark, but also interesting Romance with so much more. Vampires, bond, romance, all combined in one, what's not to love. The characters are amazing. This book is 5th one of the series, it being the last one. And last ones are always way to emotional. Just loved it.
Recommend.

The way this series made me feel all the emotions like very few other things in existence... I'm pretty sure my heart actually broke at one point. The spice, the plot, the everything... The ending currently has me broken. When brain function returns, I'll find words to explain...
