James Patterson and Simon Kernick fans will love this 5* debut thriller.
A father of two teenage girls, Dave Barton, is mistakenly arrested on child pornography charges. As he struggles to convince his family and the local community of his innocence, a killer starts targeting local businessmen. As the killings get closer to home, Dave finds that he doesn’t know everything about his own troubled past, and may not be able to keep his family safe.
This is a fascinating story, that will leave you thinking for sometime after you finish it. It starts with someone opening the door to the police to be found they are being wrongfully accused of accessing child pornography. Some of the themes in this book have the potential to be disturbing but they are well handled and the novel has plenty of twists and turns. A really interesting debut crime novel.
