This was a fantastic dark mafia romance that I enjoyed from the beginning! I really loved following Raphael and Lily on this journey. The characters have so much trauma and hurt in their lives, but in finding each other, they are able to begin to mend those broken pieces and heal. There is instalove, friends to lovers, found family, hurt/comfort, touch them and ☠️, action and spice. I can't wait to read the next book, Dark Truths! There are dark elements in this book, so check the trigger warnings!

The beginning is not what I expected but not in a bad way. I didn’t expect Lily and Raphael to meet the way they did. What Lily experienced in part of her life is sad and I couldn’t imagine going through what she did. But she comes out strong in the end and a badass woman! With that part being said absolutely read the trigger warnings!! The book is a slow burn but understandable knowing about Lilly but the spicy scenes are worth the wait. There are a couple twists that definitely shocked/pissed me off but much needed revenge happens so all is made right lol I definitely enjoyed reading this book. Before reading this one and Dark Choices, I wasn’t a big fan of mafia romances but these definitely changed my mind! And I have to say even though I enjoyed Michael and Roses story, Raphael and Lily’s is definitely my favorite!

Darek Consequences is book 2 in the Dark Angels Series. 18+
This book can be read as a stand alone however book one was also great so I would recommend reading both! This book was amazing! I couldn't put it down, not even joking when I say it had me so hooked I stayed up all nigh just so I could finish it. The author did a great job writing the story. It held my attention, making me crave more! Also, maybe I have some dark humor but I LOL while reading! Looking forward to reading more books by this author in the future!

Raphael is giving Michael a hard run for his money .this first book was amazing and this one just topped it off . I so feel in love with Raphael and Lilly and little mei is story . So many twist and turns and edge of your seat story . This is a dark Mafia romance and second book in a series . The ending was nothing short but absolutely amazing. Cannot wait for the next book to this series I know it's only Guna get more dark And twisted but the next story I think is coming will be everything .oh there's a twist in this one you won't see coming

Oh my heart. I didn’t think it was possible but I loved Raphael and Lily’s story more than Michael and Rose’s. I was absolutely blown away with every bit of it.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat pretty much throughout the whole story. I hurt for the things Lily and Mei endured. I even teared up several times at the end when I thought the unthinkable may happen. I wasn’t sure if they would finally receive their happily ever after. With all that they have been through, they deserved the best ending ever. Thankfully this author knew that, too!!
The romance was a semi slowburn. Of course it was, with Lily’s past. But once things got heated, oh boy, did it ever get heated. My romance loving heart was loving everything these two offered up!! It was written to absolute perfection.
All in all a fabulous story I devoured in hours. I couldn’t put it down! 5 Stars!!

One of the standout aspects of Boozer’s writing is the strong portrayal of female characters supporting one another. Gabriella’s empowering speech to Lily was particularly moving and beautifully written.

As much as I suspected it, Dominic's fate tugged at my heartstrings. The climax was intense and nerve-wracking, keeping me on the edge of my seat.

The ending was satisfying, and I loved how other characters had prominent roles throughout the story. With Dimitri set to take the spotlight next, I can’t help but wonder about Enzo’s story 🤔. I also can't get over the line, “Sweetheart, if you don’t sit on my face right now, I just might die.” It's moments like these that showcase the book’s balance between dark themes and humor.

Lily is a doctor who is helps out in Columbia with Doctors without borders. While she is in Columbia another doctor, won't take no for an answer. Dr. Rodrigez ends up kidnapping her and keeps her locked up. Before he eventually tires of her and sells her to a Cartel. She then ends up in a sex trafficking ring. When Xiao sees her and then becomes obsessed with her. She then finds herself enslaved to him. She ends up pregnant and has a little girl, Mei. She knows she has to do everything she can to protect Mei from her father. So, when Raphel breaks into Xiao's home and asks her to come with him. She goes. Will Lily and Mei truly be safe with Raphel?
I absolutely love this world that K. Boozer has created! You find yourself among morally grey characters. Who cherish family above all else. Who might do illegal things. But still have a standard that they uphold. She shows you even these types of characters still try to let the innocent be innocent. I can't wait for the next book!! I highly recommend this book. It won't disappoint you!

An absolute ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️🌶️ read from K. Boozer! I love how the series is interconnected! The world building set from the first book to the second book is well written. I was able to pick right back up and jump back into the world.
This book follows Lily and Raphael! Lily our fmc is a doctor is was sold and 6 years later is inadvertently rescued by Raphael, our mmc, who was on a mission of sorts. Their attraction to each other is undeniable but Lily is scared, closed off and trusts no one. Her only concern is Mei. Lily is given an opportunity to escape her hell and takes it knowing it's a shot at what she wants but is it just that easy? I love how you get just enough of supporting characters from book 1 and how they all are so relevant. I find myself rooting for team crazy but good! I love the morally grey aspect! The plot is mafia world related and the bigger plot is happening throughout the series!
There's evil, lies, betrayal, kidnapping, torture, unaliving but there's also family ties, friendship, found family, growth, learning to love, trust, banter with several of the characters!

Lily & Raphael have done something to my heart that I can not explain. From page 1 I was hooked & I never want to let go! Lily has suffered more than one person ever should & Raphael is on a mission to rid the world of an evil man that has cause so many trauma! Little did Raphael know what that search would bring into his life. Watching their love story unfold had me all in the feels. It felt so real & natural. They both deserved someone who would look at them and love them from their soul out! And I'm pretty sure I have found my new favorite nickname! I could go on & on about how amazing this series is, but I really want to say is GO READ THIS!!

What a brilliant dark mafia read and the perfect instalment for the second book in the Dark Angels series. I loved Lily and Raphael, Lily’s backstory however was absolutely heartbreaking, the way the tension between the two of them slowly builds given her past is so well done and worth it when the spice does come. If you’re after a new mafia series to start then Dark Angels is definitely the one for you, this was my favourite of the 2 books so far and I can’t wait for book 3.

Raphael and Lily's story is about overcoming challenges and trauma, finding happiness when you never thought it would be possible, second chances, and realizing that heroes do exist. Sometimes you need put the past behind you and fight for the future you deserve.

This book is very intense, emotional, gritty, raw and dark. But, it's also beautiful, a story about survival, love, strength and overcoming even the worst circumstances to get to a better way of life. We're left with a little glimpse of what's to come and personally I can't wait for Dark Truths.

My goodness! I loved Lilly and Raphael's story so much! The beginning throws you right into the darkness of their world. Seeing Lilly's journey to return to herself (as best she can) and how patient and kind Rafael is with her was amazing. For being a big bad ruthless mafia guy, he is the best thing to happen to Lilly and Mei!
I was not expecting the PLOT TWIST in the bonus epilogue!!! I can't wait for the next book to come out!

Book 2 I'm this series and it's just ad good as the first one. It's a delicious, dark romance but I couldn't put it down. This story is about the other twin, Raphael and how it comes to meet lily. She has been through so much and still comes out strong. He rescues her so they can help eachother take down the guy who held her captive but they fall for eachother and there is definitely some yummy spicy scenes. I cannot wait for the next book!!

This is the second book in the series, even though each book is a standalone so far this was my least favorite, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good book. I just didn’t care about Rafael and Lily as much as I did Michael and Rose from the first book. I don’t really feel like they had any character development in Raphael. Didn’t really have any motivation to me. I understand Lily wanting to get out of the trade and to make sure her daughter is safe, but that’s like her only personality trait.

The plot is thick and flows so easily you get trapped! I’ve read these books in a day, each! The smut is there! You will experience all the emotions in these books and that’s sometimes hard to find! Sooo on that note! Off to book 3!

K.Boozer has don't another remarkable job with this book. Book 2. The spice was just right. Action was spot on. The plot was still there like it book 1. But OMG that epilogue... I did not see that coming at all. Can't wait for book number 3... also, I really hope Evie and Enzo get their own book. I love their banter.

This is the second book I’ve read by K. Boozer and I have loved both of them. They’re great mafia romances with the perfect amount of twists to keep you invested and top tier smut. I loved this couple. My only con would be I wish we got more of the Lily and Raphael’s HEA.

Lily is fighting to survive everyday with her daughter Mei at the hands of Xiao but when the house is raided and Raphael steps in, he’s her chance at escaping. He makes her feel safe, but their love isn’t easy sailing. Xiao will stop at nothing to get back what “belongs” to him. This book had me hooked from the first page🫶

When I say that my obsession with this author is big I mean it’s beyond that.. Raphael and Lilly stole my heart the moment I opened the book!!! These two couldn’t be more opposite in the best way. I was immediately sucked into there story. And Raphael is ready to risk it all to protect and claim Lilly. Hands down my one click author!!!!!

I loved this book from the start! Lily and Mei’s story of love and loss really shows the good in the mafia story. Hopefully we get to uncover the underworld!

This book was a good story and I love the main characters. Made me feel like I was in the book. It's a 5 stars of course. The author did a great book. I couldn't stop reading this book. Made me want to know more every chapter.

take a shot everytime they talk about how blue lily’s eyes are and you’ll die of alcohol poisoning. epilogue did make the third novel seem promising. either way I’ll be glad to be done with this series.

Great storytelling! I'm really enjoying this gritty Mafia trilogy and have begun "Dark Truths" the final book.
