I was kidnapped by an italian mafia don. Now I'm being forced to marry him and give him a baby.
I’ve heard his name before.
Salvatore Mori. He’s a ruthless mafia don, the most powerful man in the city — and our family's most hated enemy.
I always knew he was brutal. But I never expected to feel like this.
Sal's possessive touch is searing hot- His ruthless hands all over my body make me beg for more.
When he tells me that I'm his good girl, my knees go weak- When he kisses me, I forget that I should hate him.
But I don't know what to do I've never been with a man before, and now my husband is a ruthless monster.
I should try to escape, But he says wherever I go, he will find me.
I promised myself to never fall for my captor- But then a secret is revealed that changes everything.
Kidnapped by the Italian Mafia Don is a standalone, spicy, mafia romance with an over the top alpha, possessive, morally grey mafia don, and a smart, innocent FMC.
Contains mature themes that may be sensitive to some. Intended for a mature audience only.
I could not read this book fast enough. There were times I had to back and reread cause I thought I missed something, it’s so good !! From the very beginning the excitement starts, and doesn’t stop !! The steamy scenes 🥵🥵. From the first page to the last, this book had it all , I cant wait for the next one !!
Make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Contessa is so sweet, a little too trusting especially when it comes to her father, suffering with tinnitus, living a life away from the truth to be honest but when her friends play a kidnapping trick on her on her birthday and a night of fun ends with her being taken by her father’s enemy. Salvatore sexy as all get out Italian Don who runs everything with an iron fist, takes nothing from anyone he is ruthless, dangerous on a good day, deadly everyday and you don’t want to be on his bad side because he won’t hesitate to kill or die for the ones he loves. So, when his biggest enemy only daughter comes into his club where a man, he knows tries to take advantage of her of course he stops it from happening, but he decides she is just what/who he needs. To go against her father or gain control depending on how you see it he takes her but not realizing that one action changes both their paths. But does her father love her enough to come for her or will he prove himself to be the liar all her life especially considering she has no choice with sexy Salvatore but does he mean harm for her or will they allow the magnetic pull between them lead them to something so much more and unexpected happiness?
dnf, there is no consent in this book whatsoever and at some point mmc even says 'That’s too much to ask of any woman, even ones who were with me by choice'
Kidnapped by the Italian Mafia Don Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 March 2024 This is the first book I have read of Lia’s but it definitely won’t be the last!
I downloaded this thinking the blurb sounded quite interesting and I was really surprised at how fast the story drew me in. I was hooked and the story kept my interest right through to the end.
I now off to see what other books Lia has to download.

I really enjoyed this book. Absolutely adored Tessa. This gal is badass & ooh how she brought Salvador to his knees ( literally). Salvador thinks he has and always will have the upper hand. That maybe true but then he meets Tessa & he thinks he will bend her to his will . BUT . . . . Read more & find out 💚🇨🇮😊
This book was so good it made me laugh so hard when her friend beat the man up. I love the protective man Salvatore was. I believe Cecelia was playing hard to get and knew Tessa was awesome . Thank you Lua Zari for a great writing style you weaved this story to make me fairy tales do come true . I'm looking forward the next read

Glad I didn't read this one first because I don't like it; I wouldn't have read anything else by the author. I would have missed out on the excellent writing in the other two books in this series. The characters are boring; I don't feel any connection to them. I don't believe that she would have been so 'oh well' at being kidnapped; nor do I buy how she is instantly hot for him or so comfortable with nudity less than 24 hours. At 18% into the book and it's cringey; so much sex as he basically forces her to do things. Course, she seems to like it. This is apparently 50% of the book; each chapter how he basically molests her, to 'train her'. The writing is shallow; not at all the emotional depth of the next two books. Just skip ahead to Chapter 17 or 18; it gets better then. No epilogue, for which I am actually glad. The story continues with Ava in the next book, so I guess that's the epilogue.
Very little mafia influence until the last 30/40%.
The beginning is tediously repetitious. The author said the same thing over and over for like 60% of the book. It was a bit soul sucking.
Character development— I like the fmc at the end, it took forever to get there and seemed instant instead of a growth and build up but at least she found her lady mafia balls. The mmc was just the same flat character all the way through. I will say the second and chef were interesting secondary characters, I see the second getting an uninspiring story with the fmc’s bestie and sadly the chef was unalived.
I wanted to like this, but it just left a lot to be desired given its length.
This story would have been amazing if the FMC wasn’t a meek, defenseless damsel in distress! It got old pretty quick!
The whole scene when one of the MMCs men ran up to the FMC and claimed that the MMC had gotten hurt and he was in the hospital was just dumb. It was so obvious that this was a trap… and the FMC of course fell for it.
And all the loose ends. Like you are really going to end the story with the FMCs father escaped to another country. That man needed to be tortured to death after the shit he put the FMC through!
And let me not get started on the FMCs friend. She is literally the reason to why so many people died! She should have been cut out from the FMCs life…
Just overall boring! Not much happened other than the love scenes…
good book! the fmc is captured by the mmc when her friends plan her birthday party in his club. she starts out with a captive and then the mmc decides they should get married. they end up getting feelings. there’s a sort of third act breakup where one of the mmc men delivers her back to her when she doesn’t want to go. the mmc thinks she left so it’s a misunderstanding. the mmc becomes possesive when he first kidnaps her and he literally gives her whatever she wants! he spoils her during a shopping trip and it’s so hot. the smut scenes are so hot and give me butterfly’s. the fmc also admits to having a pregnancy kink. i liked this book but it was kinda long… and some of the pure business scenes i skimmed over them.
I don't know what it is about this Harlequin adjacent mafia romances, but I gobble them right up. This one was not the best I've read. The relationship between Tessa and Salvatore felt really stilted throughout a lot of the book. There wasn't much as far as banter, and frankly, Salvatore's lack of trust with Tessa while he had her completely locked down was obnoxious.
My biggest beef was how spineless Tessa came across. Yeah, she was stoic and resigned when she was kidnapped but it didn't really translate to much. Like, girl either fight back or stop whining.
It was good. It didn't read like it was almost 500 pages long. I was kept interested through it all. It just left a little more to be desired in the long run though.
Now I’m not one for pregnancy tropes, I actually despise them with all my being. However, this book did amazingly well. Just right, it wasn’t too over the top or the whole focus of the book at the end.
I truly loved this book, even cried a little not gonna say why cause I’m not gonna give that giant of a spoiler away. That’s rude.
If you like mafia romances, I think you would like this. I wish I could read it again for the first time.

This book was really well written, but I think Mafia romance is not for me! All the decisions were really well-justified in-world, with the exception of Kay at the wedding and Tessa deciding she does want to live within the mafia world, which I didn’t totally buy at the end. But I liked the moment with Cecilia which got it almost all the way there.
This was my first book by his author and I was happy I chose it. Salvatore, the Mafia Don, that always gets what he wants is blindsided by a rival family's Mafia Princess Tessa. Both characters have real growth within the story. The storyline kept me invested and rooting for their HEA.
An excellent story about redemption. Lies that get loved ones killed. Lies that destroys the lives of the innocent. Truth sets you free. Faith, friendship, fellowship, commitment, compassion, forgiveness, and believing in one’s ability to understand the process called love brings the pages of this love to life.
This was honestly such a terrible book. The book started off very weirdly, it felt like I was reading the book from the middle onstead of chapter 1?
My goodness the fmc was just so bad and the mmc tried but he was also terrible. The execution and writing was honestly atrocious? I skipped most pages because what was going on?
Totally enjoyed this story from the very first page to the last. These two are from enemy families, and when Contessa finds herself unexpectedly in his club, Salvatore wastes no time on kidnapping her. And the pull and push between those two starts. These is a dark mafia book with hot romance. Highly recommended
Really enjoyed this book and the characters development! Had a solid underlying story and it flowed really well, I loved how the relationship developed between the two leads! Was an easy read and one I didn’t want to put down
Read lots of mafia books, this one is one of the good ones. I saw this book in amazon seller list but couldnt find any information about writer. The topic could have been different and at the end of the book any info about tessa’s father didnt give us maybe the next book.
This book is the best in the while series!! Finally a smart amazing woman!! I feel the chemistry and loves in between these words. The vows were perfect. I wish there was a series on just this family. It could easily be another 21 books!!!
Oh my! This was a well written book. Kept me so interested! I loved Contessa, how she seemed weak and she was strong. Salvatore was really a good person, strong and unwavering. I really liked the read.
