Aiyana Kaan is the best friend everyone needs. She's self-assured, a total badass biomedical engineer, could kill you with her witty comebacks alone, and is loyal beyond measure—sometimes, even to a fault. When she moves back to Philadelphia after five years away, she can't seem to fight the attraction throwing sparks between her and Kas.

But who could blame her? Not only is Kas a talented hockey player, but he’s also sexy to dangerous degrees and has made his feelings toward her crystal clear.

So, what's the hold-up? For a start, Kas is her best friend’s brother. But that’s not where it ends. There's more to their story, including a secret Aiyana’s holding close to her chest. And while she’ll fight tooth and nail to keep Kas from ever finding out the truth, he shows no signs of giving up any time soon. Or ever really.

Kassian Narvaez is the brother of the century with a sneaky habit of playing matchmaker. But if he's so good at setting others up, why is he still single?

The truth? This sweet and funny guy only has eyes for one woman. Kas has been pining after Aiyana since they first met in middle school, and while he hasn't quite figured out why Aiyana changed her tune so suddenly, he's determined to get to the bottom of it.

Will Aiyana finally let herself be happy with the man she's loved her whole life, or will Kas be destined to continue his weekly therapy sessions in the hopes of finding a solution that sticks?

Aiyana and I have a love/hate relationship (iykyk) but if my mans loves you, then FINE.

This book was fast paced, easy to digest, I teared up quite a bit. An all-around BANGER. Thank you for the ARC 💗

Thank you to Giuliana Victoria for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tremble was a good follow up to the first book in the series Quiver. I was really looking forward to reading about Kas and Aiyana's relationship after the hints of it in book one.

You could tell there was chemistry between them from the very beginning. I really like the two of them together.

Kas is very sweet and caring. You can tell how much he loves her. It especially shows towards the end of the book when he talks to her father. (I won't say about what to avoid spoiling it for anyone.

I really enjoyed the last ~20% of the book. It was super cute and I like how everything came together.

I highly suggest reading Quiver before Tremble. You get a lot more backstory on some of the characters.

Tremble comes out August 22nd! Make sure you add it to your tbr.

This was my first book by Giuliana, and it definitely won’t be my last.

The short chapters made the story flow seamlessly, making it easy to follow and impossible to put down.

From the playful banter to the deeply emotional moments, I was hooked from start to finish.❤️‍🔥

Kassian is an absolute dream—he’s been madly in love with Aiyana for years, and his role as a matchmaker adds to his irresistible charm. His tender care and his detailed knowledge of her food preferences highlight just how attentive and loving he is. Whether he’s being sweet or dirty, Kassian’s words will have you swooning. The way he talks about Aiyana to his therapist adds an extra layer of depth to his character, making him even more endearing.😫❤️‍🔥

Aiyana is a wonderfull character. Though initially stubborn and resistant, it’s clear she has deep feelings for Kassian, which adds a delightful tension to their relationship. The nickname “Little Viper” that Kassian gives her perfectly captures their playful and intense dynamic, bringing an extra fiery touch to their interactions.✨

The blend of good girl moments, spicy scenes, and sweet, gentle interactions creates a dynamic and engaging narrative. Be prepared for a few tears—there are some emotionally intense moments that will tug at your heartstrings.

Tremble is a perfect mix of humor, heat, and heartfelt moments.

It’s a captivating read with genuine chemistry and emotional depth, making it a must-read for anyone who loves a romance that’s both steamy and heartfelt.

If you’re looking for a story with deep emotional connections and irresistible chemistry, this is it.

Kas is the perfect book boyfriend. He loves Aiyana with all that he is, even if he is a little broken. Tremble is book #2 in the Philia Players Series and is written around the same time frame as Quiver, just about Aiyana and Kas. I suggest reading Quiver first, but you don't have to.
Kas is obsessed with Aiyana and shows her with his loyalty, tenderness and even by doing things she doesn't even know. He sweet talks and dirty talks so good. Aiyana is a strong, badass female who knows what she wants, but deals with something all alone that slowly breaks her heart.
Aiyana and Kas are the be all end all, but will something someone important said to Aiyana wreck it all?
Giuliana Victoria writes so well about trauma, sickness, disabilities, and cultural values. I love how the representation is so true. She takes the time to research and represent appropriately so others can learn. I'm so grateful for receiving the ARC and can't wait for the next book in the series.

“It’s to represent how you, little viper, have effectively woven yourself into my heart, mind, body and soul. And I still can’t seem to get enough.”

A huge thank you to Giuliana Victoria for sending me the arc of this story. Thank you!

This story runs pretty much at the same time Quiver does and I would highly recommend reading that first!

I don’t know how Giuliana Victoria manages to write men like this but holy hell, bow to the queen of writing men who are just so in love with their girls they will do anything and everything.

Kas was just perfect, to the point it’s hard you a word to describe him. He’s a little broken, but the way he pines for Aiyana and loves her is so unmatched. He’s loyal and determined, and a little obsessed.

Oh he also has the freaking best mouth ever. Whether he’s talking sweet or dirty this boy freaking aces it.

Aiyana is a bad ass, everything she does is badass. The forbidden aspect, the reason that she only knows, quiet literally tears her apart, it’s hard to read how she puts herself through pain time and time again so that she doesn’t disappoint her family. Even if it means missing out on the love of her life.

But the way she makes it up to Kas right at the end, you’re in for a wild ride it was amazing!

And fair warning epilogue part 2 made me freaking sob, in a good way, it was adorable.

I loved this book and can’t wait to see what comes next!

i was so happy to get an arc for this book too! (i was lucky enough to get quiver as well) this book depicts so much besides love! i adore how giuliana includes different cultures, disabilities, and even choices that most would think "out of the norm". the ROMANCE though is obviously top tier 😏
some things to expect:
•open door spice (which is piping hooottttttt)
•best friends brother
•tattoo for her
•nicknames
•hockey romance
•childhood love
•disability reps
•recovery of past trauma
there is also discussions of sensitive topics so check trigger warnings before starting!

some other things i loved!
•kassians attention to detail of what aiyana needs even when she will not voice it (that's with day to day and also in the bedroom 😏)
•as said above the disability representation! you can absolutely tell that giuliana does research and genuinely cares about what she writes
•culture representation as well! although i am not versed in all the different aspects of the Cherokee i have no doubt that giuliana did thorough research to make sure it was accurate

thank you, giuliana, for the opportunity to read you story! i absolutely adored it 🧡

While I’m always a lover of men with red flags, Kas is a literal walking green flag and I’m here for it 200%!! The amount of love he has for Aiyana literally just made me want to cry with how precious it all was! It pained me the entire time as Aiyana was convinced they could never be together. And while I swooned when Kas would always order whatever food she was craving, know all the things she needs/make her feel better on her horrible periods, and was always there for her…..I literally could not get enough of his absolutely FILTHY mouth and the spice. Holy smokes…..to be so sweet but also so dirty - it was HOT. I devoured this book in less than 24 hours and loved it so much!

What to expect:
-Hockey romance
-Black cat x golden retriever
-Best friend’s brother
-Friends to lovers
-Second chance
-Dual POV
-SPICE
-Mental health rep

Tremble releases on August 22nd and if you’re a hockey romance lover, you definitely need to read this book!

Thank you so much to Giuliana for allowing to be part of the ARC team for Tremble! All opinions are my own!

I overall enjoyed Tremble quite a bit—not as much as Quiver, but I liked Kas more than Ale, and I LOVED Ale, so there's that. Aiyana was a bit immature at times, but overall likable. The whole conflict of why she couldn't be with Kas was drawn out when it really was such a quick, easy conversation that could've been addressed very early on. This book was all about people's minds changing over time, so that part felt disjointed? I also do not like it when books are heavy with pet names/nicknames, and while I loved the way the nickname Kas had for Aiyana was connected to her family name, it gave me the ick very early on in the story and appears sooooo much. It ultimately took me out of the story quite a bit and I had to brace myself for when I knew it was coming and consciously skip that line.

I thought Victoria did a great job writing a character with endo, and I loved how inclusive the book was of Aiyana's Cherokee heritage, customs, language, the politics surrounding her existence, etcetera. Her parents were a breath of fresh air, and they balanced out a few of the more intense parts of the book. However, I have a similar complaint with Kas that I did Kat—their Puerto Rican and Filipino heritages are not written about/embraced by them, and I wished I saw that since Aiyana so proudly embraced hers. I also loved how this story is interwoven with Ale and Kat's, and how frequently the cast of characters appear in Tremble because of it. This is ultimately a double-edged sword though, because it also made Kas and Aiyana feel somewhat underdeveloped. If you've read Quiver, you've gone through some of these scenes with these characters, albeit not from their perspective. In those scenes I already knew what was going to happen and found myself wanting to skim (I would never though because I'm so obsessed with words).

Speaking of words, I recently realized I love, love, love books that have texts/emails between the FMC and MMC, and that is plentiful in Tremble. The spice here was phenomenal; no notes. I overall love Victoria's writing, I find it refreshing, fast-paced, and engaging. And, once again, as a South Jersey native, it warms my heart to have these characters frequent places I know and love (although I don't think I can visit that farm again omg?!?)!

I'm excited to keep going with this series!

It took me a while to like aiyana but once you gotten to know all the small annoying little quirks she had she was tolerable to enjoy when it came to her pov in the story. I did feel bad with how much she was suffering with her dad being unwell not knowing when his last day with them is 😩 just makes me sad for her.

I just loved kassian in this so much the way he knows what he wants for his future doesn’t want to jeopardise his status for hockey or the girl he loves dearly!

╭⊹ ₊
˚┊✦ Romance - Epilogue
the romance was just so spicy in every scene of this book the way the characters formed together in their own lives again that they can move on from the past that happened to disconnect just regain from each other I just admired that from each of them honestly!
The one thing that was slightly repetitive for me in this one with the nickname kassian had for her “goodnight my little viper”. Was mentioned a lot like come on I get it I love the nickname but was used too much.

I was in awe with the authors writing here still you see how much it progresses throughout the book itself she writes it so well when it comes to health issues and mental health when she talks about endometriosis which isn’t spoken about regularly. I still love the fact that she bought in Ale and Kat in the story having their friendship grow.

This was a cute book I did enjoy it but the repetitive got me slight annoyed about this book still deserves a good 4 stars for me would’ve been a 5 if it wasn’t for the cheesy lines etc I still can’t wait to finish off this series see how it all ends I’m intrigued who the next pov is going to be!

Thank you Giuliana Victoria for sending me an arc of your book!!! Guys I loved this so bad😩 this book was so wholesome and so entertaining to read! The details in the book were chefs kiss!! Not even starting and there were pages about their fragrances, the banger playlist (literally the best playlist I’ve ever seen in a book!!), and even terms & names translated😩 there was definitely so much thought put into this book and it clearly shows! The chapters were short!! Which I loved!! Reading this was so easy! And I got to learn so much about the characters with how much their povs changed! Author did such a good job writing the scenes and all the characters! Kas’s dedication of winning over Aiyana literally had me a goner so fast! I could probably talk about Kas and how perfect he is this whole review 😫😫 he was actually so down bad I was obsessed with him! The way he knew when her periods were and would come over with everything she needed! HE TALKED TO HIS THERAPIST ABOUT HERRRRR OMG! I quite literally need him shipped out to me nowwwww!! Kas’s therapy session were so real! We love a man who takes accountability and wants to better his emotions! I loved how Kas always matched her energy! He always knew what she needed and how she needed it! Always knew when to give her space too😭 Aiyana was a really relatable character! She was smart and resilient, funny and supportive! I loved reading her come backs to Kas and slowly watching her change her view on love! Their interactions were so good too! I loved the banter! There was never a dull moment between the two! Like Kas wanted her so bad and makes it painfully obvious and Aiyana’s trying so hard to deny her feelings for him, it was all just to fun to read! and their text messages were so fucking funny! There were so many cute moments between to couple! This book had every single micro trope I could’ve wanted and they were all executed so well!! The smut in this book was top tier YALL! 🥵🥵 this book was a total heart clencher the ending especially how she proposed, the wedding, and the epilogue! Reading this book just felt like a super cute rom com and I loved every second of this book🥹🫶

Giuliana Mam what did what did you put in this book because I was not able to put it down. This is the second book in this series and I would highly recommend you to read the first one just to get an idea of who the characters are and how they are related to each other, what I adored the most about this book was the connection between Kassian and and Aiyana, and that is something very rare to find in the books. How the Kassian character took care of Aiyana throughout the book from small gestures to the grand ones, It just made my heart swell and let’s not talk about the spice because it did spice a lot. I was sweating at few scene acting like a shy girl, giggling because why not. What I appreciate in this book is how the author has spent so much time, energy, research and knowledge about the ethnicity, the community, the family and the mental health aspect and lastly and most importantly endometriosis that Aiyana suffered from. I feel this is one of those reasons. If I will start talking about all the scenes and moments I loved, this would be a really long review, so I’ll just say that this book is a sheet for every person who loves best friend’s brother and sports romance because this book was one of the best reads of 2024 for me..

Philia Players Book Two!

Kassian and Aiyana have known each other for years!

Kas is a hockey player for the Phillies scarlets. He has a twin sister Kat! Aiyana and his twin have been best friends since middle school.

Aiyana just completed her master of science a double major in biomedical engineering and chemistry and subsequent phd! She may be short but she has a big attitude! I love it!!

I am so crushing on Kas in this book! He definitely has great boyfriend material!! He's so good and sweet to Aiyana! They are so cute together! It makes my heart so happy I wish a lot of guys would be more like Kas and more mature! They could definitely take some tips from him! There are good guys out there!!

I absolutely adored this book from the start lol to finish! Thank you to Giuliana for giving me the opportunity to be on your ARC team! You are definitely an inspiration 😄💜

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ARC Review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you so much to the author for an ARC! This was absolutely the cutest romance ever!! Kassian is truly the best guy ever and continued to love and support Aiyana through everything. The way Kassian paid attention to small minute details to the larger aspects concerning Aiyana and how to best support her was so beautiful to see! Such as supporting her when her when she had incredible cramps / period, her favorite foods, literally everything! Truly golden retriever of a man! The spice was perfect and the growth the both of them developed on how to best love and support one another was perfect!

I loved Quiver, but I LOVED Tremble! I was crying by the end of the book. Aiyana and Kas went through so much together as children, that seeing them come together as adults was so heart-warming. I was elated when all of the misunderstandings and conflicts were resolved and they got their well-deserved happily ever after. Kas will always have a piece of my heart with how supportive he is to those he loves. I can't wait to continue this series!

Nah ah! Didn't do it for me. The characters were good and there was no loss of chemistry but I felt it wasn't well written as the first book.
The reason for them not being together was just a matter of discussion. They could have talked and it could have saved us so much of denial from the fmc!
The chapters were too short and most of them were only text. Not complaining, but it still doesn't cover much.
I'm going all critics here but I still liked it lol!

Tremble

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Y’ALL remember how I said Ale from Quiver is a walking green flag? Well @giuliana.victoria.author warned me...and I can confirm, Kassian Narvaez is an EVEN BIGGER GREEN FLAG.

AND BOY is he down BAD for his little viper.😍

Kas was everything I wanted him to be AND MORE. Kas is the epitome of a golden retriever book boyfriend—he’s head over heels for Aiyana and goes out of his way to show her just how much. Though a little broken from his past, he doesn’t let that keep him from attending to Aiyana and her every need. (I mean EVERY need, and man did he do it so well! 🤤) He was protective, caring, controlling in the only acceptable way😉,- and his witty banter, YALL.🥵

Aiyana Kaan - oh, MISS MA’AM, she stole my attention in Quiver, but boy did we get an eyeful of her wild PERSONALITY in Tremble! Sure, she had me pulling my hair out with her antics towards Kas, but deep down, I totally got where she was coming from. And oh, let’s not overlook her powerhouse presence - definitely not someone you’d want to mess with, a VIPER indeed!🐍

The chemistry and spice here were off the charts! The banter was on fire! and the TEXTING was top notch. 🤌🏼

“Tremble” is a flawless blend of laughter, passion, and touching scenes. Prepare to be swept off your feet by Kas and Aiyana’s story. I was in full swoon mode, switching between giggles and tears like a rollercoaster ride of emotions!🥹

Giuliana Victoria is a mastermind when it comes to writing about diversity, cultures, trauma, disabilities, and values. Oh and I can’t forget to mention SPICE. 🤤

» Kassian has been totally devoted to Aiyana for YEARS. She is it for him and the dedication calls it: he’s a total simp for her. He will stop at nothing to give her everything and he is obsessed in the sweetest, swooniest way. There were so many things he did that made me want to scream and happy-cry 🥹 Top-tier book boyfriend! 🏆

» I really loved Aiyana and connected with her easily. She’s the quintessential black cat, but her quick wit and charm won me over from her first snark. I love an FMC who shows up for herself and isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants. 🐈‍⬛

» They have undeniable chemistry and when they get together… damn! 🔥 Kas knows how to flip the switch, and it is hot af. 😮‍💨🫠

» Tremble is told in first-person dual POV in the same timeline as Quiver, which was so exciting when I realized it. It’s second in the series and though they’re both standalone, you’ll get the best experience reading in order.

Giuliana Victoria has given us a solid story centring a character living with a life-changing chronic illness, who has some difficult choices to make. Just like in Quiver, they are sensitively written without toxic positivity, and I love her for it.

✩ Honourable mention: Aiyana is Cherokee, and I appreciated the representation through customs and language.

✦ Tremble is a big win, and I can’t wait for what comes next!

⚠️ Contains discussions of family trauma, domestic violence, attempt homicide, suicide, gun violence, terminally ill parent, chronic illness, infertility, mental health, open door spice, explicit language. Please check warnings.

I received an ARC from Giuliana Victoria in exchange for an honest review.

Tremble- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

🐍“It’s to represent how you, my little viper, have effectively woven yourself into my heart, mind, body, and soul. And I still can’t seem to get enough.”🐍

Without a doubt my new favorite use of the “one-bed trope” 🤣 In all seriousness, I thought Ale was the sweetest MMC I had ever read, Kassian took the crown and ran laps around him. Kas is the epitome of sweet and spicy! This man literally tracks her cycle and takes care of her one minute and then plays out professor fantasies for her the next, how much sweeter could he be?I LOVE Aiyana! She’s smart, strong, and such an amazing friend to Kat and Kas!

I’ll admit the miscommunication trope is not my favorite by any means, but it worked out here. Once again the found family is what made this book for me! Gloria is still my favorite smutty granny 💗 Much like Quiver, Tremble made me experience a wide range of emotions and I loved every second of it!

Giuliana hides the name of the next novel in the previous and even though I searched like it was my job when I read Quiver I didn’t guess. Made it my mission this time to find it and I’m putting it out there now I think the next novel is going to be Quake! Can’t wait to be wrong 🤣🤣

Thank you so much again to Giuliana for allowing me to be a part of your ARC team I can’t wait for the next book 💜

After five years, biomedical smarty pants engineer Aiyana Kaan finally returns home to Philadelphia, moving in with her best friend. Everything should be super. She's found a great job in the field she loves close to home. She can get together with her parents. The only problem is she's also close to Kas. Kassian Narvaez; resident sweetheart and star hockey hottie for the Philly Scarlets. Oh, and he’s her best friend's brother. Well, not just her best friend's brother. Her own friend, too...and a little more. Before she moved away, their shared past was filled with stolen kisses and secret rendezvous. And now that they are back in each other's orbit, it seems near impossible not to get pulled right back in---and that might only lead to heartbreak.

First off, I love seeing a main character written with endometriosis. It's so important to showcase this illness that impacts so many women. Aiyana's symptoms were described accurately, although I will add that endo is a disease that presents differently for everyone. I appreciate that the author took great care in the portrayal and advocacy.

Although there were a few things that threw me off my reading groove, such as the overuse of a term of endearment and a slight miscommunication trope, the fast pacing and delightful characters kept me engaged. The cultural representation and traditions added a distinctive flavor to this sports romance, making it even more enjoyable. I found both Aiyana and Kas very likable and have since Quiver. I appreciated that Aiyana was strong and independent, but willing to drop everything for those she loves. I loved that Kas was such a SIMP, yet a little broken. They both had their baggage but leaned on one another for support, taking care of each other at their most fragile, unguarded moments. And isn't that what love is all about?

Overall, Tremble is a unique hockey romance that shoots the puck right at the heart and scores.

Favorite Line:
Even if she never picks me, I'll always pick her.

Thank you to Giuliana Victoria for a copy of this ARC.

Giuliana definitely knows how to write the perfect green flag book boyfriend! Kassian there are no words for how perfect he is!

This book overlaps with Quiver which is perfect as you get to see everything that happened between these two while the other story takes place, so after reading the first book and wondering everything is made very clear.

Loved the befriends brother trope and how they had actually had a thing going for a long time before Aiyana moved away. Now they are back in the same city, but as Kassian wants more, what will Aiyana do being torn between family and her heart.

Kassian was just such a gentleman; I mean he knew her cycle and made sure she had everything she could possibly want to get her through it. Total golden retriever for her, well that is until they are in the bedroom, and he turn into this dominating god! You would turn to mush and do anything this man asked of you.

Aiyana was a very strong and independent woman and knew what she wanted from her life, until it came to Kassian. Your heart went out to her at the situation she was in. I did feel some of her decisions weren’t thought out and she how she could have hurt Kassian, but it all had to happen that way to get to where they ended up.

The spice was spicing in this book and it gets straight to it in the first chapter! The chemistry between these two was so hot and it was reflected in the spicy scenes between them both! Kassian liked to be the boss and damn you would let him. That man had a dirty mind and mouth which all book girlies will just fall in love with.

Another amazing story from Giuliana and can’t wait to read the rest in the series.

Page 1 spice?! Sign me UPPP!
The first sentence ALONE is literally🔥
If you are looking for an adorable yet spicy book, look no further.
I anticipate this book gaining so much popularity soon. It’s got all of the makings of a best seller.

Aiyana is Cherokee. Her dad told her years ago that he wants her to marry within her culture. Kas moved in next door in middle school and the 2 have been pining for each other ever since. Aiyana feels like Kas cannot fulfill her father’s wishes to carry out tradition and therefore she tries keeping her distance because she knows they don’t have a future together.

This is a slow burn but not like a REGULAR slow burn. The chemistry is STRONG between Kas and Aiyana and I was patiently waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I really enjoyed that we get to see the messenger format as Kas and Aiyana text back and forth. It really helps with the background of their relationship and I think it was done really well in this book.

There’s also a lot of visibility in these books. Aiyana has endometriosis and there is talk about her pain, her experiences, and her hope of getting a hysterectomy. Kas even tracks her cycle and buys her little care kits when he knows she needs them most. A KING. Literal goals.
There’s also mention of organ donation & transplants complete with a blurb at the end about how we can support organ donation in real life. A lot of Cherokee language and culture are used in the book as well, I think it was nice to see a main character from a different background. These points alone made this book so great.

💜ARC REVIEW💜

This was my most anticipated book of the summer after reading, and loving, Quiver a few months back! So, so grateful to Giuliana for the opportunity to read it as an arc!

Firstly, Kassian- the man that you are. The perfect blend of sweet and spicy and just an all round amazing guy. His love for Aiyana is basically in neon lights at this point. Everyone knows how much he adores his girl, even when she isn't technically his girl. Every girl deserves someone who will go to incredible lengths for them, just like Kas did for Aiyana. He's funny, charming, a total god and so reverent in his love- not just for Aiyana but for his family too.

Aiyana, now hear me out. Girlie bothered me just a little bit, iykyk👀, but she's forgiven! This girl is so independent and so fierce and so strong. She knows what she wants and she goes after it- most of the time. Her devotion to her family and culture, as well as her dedication to her field, is incredibly admirable. I also loved her steadfastness regarding her future as a mother, or lack-there-of, and really appreciated that she didn't change her mind at the end.

It was fun to see the other side of the coin, as the timelines of Quiver and Tremble coincide, and especially to see my suspicions about Kas and Aiyana in Book 1 play out on page here. I would definitely recommend reading Quiver first, even though you CAN read Tremble as a standalone, just for the snippets of added context you get to some parts.

This book was just what I needed to drag me to the surface of my reading slump, I can't wait to see what comes next!!! (my money is on book three being called Quake, but we'll see😼)
