They've been doing the deed every single day. Kaname's very much in love, but he fears he's getting too much addicted to it, that he's got to stop, or else, he'll be all helpless in the end. But that's not what Shima has in mind. He fears they might be going in a rut.

Angst-fueled yaoi read. It's cute and enjoyable!!

It’s pretty light and entertaining. But the main conflict in this manga revolves around something I don’t really like—poor communication. I mean, how can you be in a long-term relationship, sleeping under the same blanket every night, and still not communicate well? You have plenty of time to be intimate, but no time for a deep talk, and it’s honestly so frustrating.

Fairly average, but cute. I would've liked to see the original "Want to Try Dating?" short that this developed from - that would've been a good bonus chapter, finding out how they'd first fallen in love. This is mostly just a sweet established relationship story, three years into their relationship, with them going through their first big misunderstanding.

The misunderstanding itself was a little bit silly, but at least it was resolved fairly quickly. I liked that Shima just found it super funny when Kaname finally explained why he'd started to avoid him. They do have a really nice relationship, with a solid friendship and a decent amount of openness to their communication that they'll likely work on more after this.

Honestly, I liked the glimpses of their friends and families most of all. Shima's older sister was interesting, and I really liked the old high school (pre-transfer?) friend who immediately clocked that they were dating. That was a fun interaction, and more depth to all of these kinds of relationships would've been nice.

But it's a sweet, simple one-shot, and that's nice, too.

Be aware that there are a lot of sex scenes in this.
However this was a very beautiful story. I love so much about it.
So this is about two guys that have been in a relationship for quite long and it's about what can happen when you not talk with your partner about what's on your mind.
I appreciate how the author told the story and how it ended.
Besides that, there were many small things I felt make this even more great.
For example they use condoms, which is something super important and therefor I am thankful whenever it's actually addressed in a manga.
Another thing I loved was how their sexual relationship was portrayed, it was very intimate and most important consensual. As soon as we come to a part where the other partner is not feeling good about it they stop. I love Shima for his reaction towards this situation.
I very much loved this great manga and do recommend it, thought if you don't like graphic sex scenes, it's not for you.

More of a 3.5 star rating;
As cute as this one-shot was to read, there wasn’t anything too memorable about it. Also, I feel like the miscommunication trope either shouldn’t have been done or it could’ve been done with an additional volume or 2 to really flesh the story out a bit. Kaname accidentally getting hurt by Shima was painful to watch since they were so loving and that incident could’ve absolutely been avoided if they simply talked.

I feel a bit mixed about this one, so it's more a 3.5 than a 4 star. The art is lovely, the couple is cute, it has a nice post-central conflict falling action/epilogue whatever. But before that it reads kind of like 13-year-olds posting on tumblr and it's very bizarre, considering these are meant to be adults in university.

The world is clearly well-developed, the sex scenes are fun, the dynamic between the characters is nice. But on top of the bizarrely childish cattiness of the leads is the badly managed miscommunication plot. Miscommunication can be fine and reaping what you sow is often great. But I was impatient with Kaname almost from the start. Yes, he has a habit of not just TALKING to his partner, even before the central plot happens, but it got increasingly frustrating over time, long before he started blaming Shima for turning it on him. Especially when Kaname realized his own behavior was the issue. It just... generally felt more annoying and anticlimactic than enjoyable.

Outside that, it's generally fluffy, and that's fine. And as a debut graphic novel, I think Kamoburger did a decent job. It's just frustrating, too, and that leaves me more annoyed than happy with it.

This is a sweet and adorable, but the major conflict in the story is so manufactured that it's ridiculous and a bit annoying. I feel for the author, because it's difficult to write a story with no issues in it, and they wrote themselves into a bit of a corner with this super wholesome pair who are obviously head of heels in love with each other, communicate well and have great chemistry. Which is why it's so unbelievable that one of them would suddenly decide to stop having sex and they'd just... not talk about it? at all?? Talk about the stupidest miscommunication of all time.

Other than that, it's got good art, the characters are cute and pretty to look at, and the story is paced gently but consistently. The smut is present, but not overdone; there are plenty of steamy scenes, but the focus is on the relationship, not the sex.

Overall, a cosy story without much to it, but sometimes an easy, low-stakes read is exactly what you need.

Another one I read last month and just TOO CUTE. In this one we follow an established relationship so the MCs have been dating for two years and living together for one year. They have their usual BL troubles like not being able to tell others and then having interested girls trying to get with the handsome one, yeah, so troublesome. But this one is cute and funny because the MC believes he's become addicted to sex and so puts a ban on their sex life, without telling his partner, and so it becomes this spiral of oh damn are we in a rut?!

it gets a bit (a lot) angsty but it's also kind of funny (but also frustrating because it's a whole other communication issue) and just, it's a good thing for my heart that it gets resolved! and in the cutest way too!

For being such a short standalone, I think it connects everything really well and doesn't feel unfinished, as the conflict does end up getting resolved in the end and doesn't feel super rushed, although I wasn't a big fan of the miscommunication trope, especially after how long they've been dating previous to the conflict, but realistically there are miscommunications in every relationship, and I feel like they were highlighted well here, although they're both kind of idiots. I think they're super cute together. I definitely think this manga deserves more love, as I did in the end really end up loving it. I would definitely recommend this unless you're not a big fan of explicit content.

This was a short and sweet read about a loving domestic couple who just don't know how to communicate properly. The premise was cute at first, but quickly felt stale as the simple misunderstanding ballooned into pointless tension. This manga was saved by the romantic and endearing way Shima and Kaname made up, and the fact that it's obvious they properly resolved the problem (albeit disappointingly offscreen). Kamoburger's art and eye for style really stood out for me too - the wonderful knits and patterns (even on socks!) was a nice touch.

Finalment, es resol amb una bona dosi de drama, de comunicació i una bona magrejada. Entretinguda, però un pèl tipicota i melodramàtica.

An established couple, miscommunication trope. It was a frustrating read since it's mainly smut. The mc makes a one sided decision for the couple and changes his behavior. The ml obviously misunderstands. It just was lacking something...me caring for the couple? This is the author's debut work so l can't be too harsh. The art skill is very good. And the expressions on the characters nice. The resolution was sweet.

This is a story where the miscommunication works well. We start with two men already in a very healthy relationship. The drama in this story is because they make love all the time, and one of them worries he's becoming a sex addict.
I've not read a BL story like this one. I really love the dynamic between our two leads. It's spicy and cute. The ending is also incredibly heartfelt and sweet. I highly recommend this one!

This was cute but the conflict was totally unnecessary imo. I wish we could just have some slice of life stories about people living together and being cute. It’s always SOME sort of miscommunication, lack thereof or something along those lines. I just wanna read cute stories about cute couples being cute together okay?!?!

a silly quick read… i do hate the hesitant undertone for sex but alas, it’s a yaoi. the couple was so cute and it was a simple miscommunication and resolved without too much fanfare. i liked it a lot.
