Damn - I really feel for these folks. Although definitely not the intent, I feel like any adversities I have do not compare to what all of these contributing authors had to go through. In a very cisgender, heterosexual white male dominated industry, reading these authors’ stories makes you feel for them but also makes you so proud that they push through to live their authentic lives. I really hope that all of these folks received the love and support they deserve when they came out. And if they didn’t, and as little as this may mean, I am proud of them and find them strong and inspirational.
