Benjamin Percy is the author of seven novels -- most recently The Sky Vault (William Morrow) -- three short fiction collections, and a book of essays, Thrill Me, that is widely taught in creative writing classrooms. He writes Wolverine, X-Force, and Ghost Rider for Marvel Comics. His fiction and nonfiction have been published in Esquire (where he is a contributing editor), GQ, Time, Men's Journal, Outside, the Wall Street Journal, Tin House, and the Paris Review. Benjamin Percy's brutal Krakoan X-Force continues and this oversized collection has some highs and lows. I enjoyed Kraven's trip to Krakoa just because its something we haven't seen before (or at least that I can remember), the end of XENO, and Domino/Sage's character growth. I didn't really enjoy the return of Arraki pirates, dangling plotlines, and meaningless deaths. The book also seems to not recognize the events that happen in Wolverine's book despite it involving Beast. The art was okay but Cassara is missed. Overall, a decent read that needs to be focused in on what's important.
