Ryan’s new friends, Opal and Sahir, convince him to take the job hosting the ghost hunting show, but only after he explains to them why he doesn’t want to do it, and that their lives might be in danger.
Opal and Sahir dismiss it, and set off with the new team hunting ghosts. But Ryan is right. Something is now out there looking for him, and now they’re all in danger.

That ending was epic! Wow. In this episode Ryan finally accepts the production show which Brad has named restless spirits. Ryan is overdue on all his bills, and about to lose his house as well as his car since he does not know what to do with the room, he finally accepts to do the show. And of course, their first shooting of the show in a haunted hospital. The entire crew sees the nurse who has hung herself and is now a ghost. Also seems like the entity that killed his family is now hunting him. Never a dull moment!
Love the way creators Chuck Austen (story) and Patrick Olliffe (art) ensure they don't let readers forget how the first issue ended - with the protagonist's therapist turning out to be a ghost! A murder victim at that, who was axed to death and the grisly scene is on the cover for the second issue.
I am definitely enjoying this comixology original horror series so far. It's on Kindle Unlimited.
This follow-up is very well done. A hint of casualness at the start which meant that a lot of time consumed in casual conversation and banter as Ryan's friends try to trap him into a horror show to showcase and take advantage of his abilities. The plot thickens and the horror cum shock quotient rides sky high. Jumping immediately to the next one.
Ryan is pressured into hosting the ghost hunting show called "Restless Spirits". While most of the crew treat it like a lark, Ryan knows what may be in store. Meanwhile malevolent forces are on the rise and hunting for Ryan.
