Those who enjoy reading thriller suspense books should get their hands on N F Webber's book "Whisper Island." The main character of the story is Ella. She was sixteen years old when Kirsten died in an accident. Instead of informing the police, Ella, Henry, Noah and others hide Kirsten's skeleton and get on with their lives.

Eighteen years passed by and the police didn't find anything about Kirsten. When Ella's friend Lauren passed away, suddenly everyone's lives turned upside down. Kirsten's body was found and the police had reopened her case. Ella, Henry, Noah, Lucas, etc decided to go for a vacation at an isolated Whisper Island and discuss what they should do. They are thinking of bringing justice to Kirsten and handing them over to the law. Read this story to know what will happen when they visit Whisper Island.

This is a gripping story. The twists and turns in the story kept me on the edge of my seat. The storyline is interesting and one won't be able to put this book down without finishing it. The characters are written well by the author and Ella's character is my favorite. I loved the title and the backdrop setting. Looking forward to reading more books by the author in the near future. Go ahead with this psychological thriller suspense without any second thoughts.

I’m always a sucker for exotic island thrillers and this invites readers to the deceptive paradise of Whisper Island, a place with a buried secret. What starts as a dream retreat for Ella and her friends soon spirals into a prison-like web of deceit, betrayal, and buried secrets. The island, with its picturesque beauty, is the perfect backdrop for a psychological thriller.

My main qualm is I think it could have been shorter. There are a few moments where pacing slows to build atmosphere, and this serves to heighten the tension when the action picks up, I think it could have moved along faster. Without giving away spoilers, the final twist is genuinely surprising, and was a decent payoff.

I hope the writer continues to hone her craft.

"Whisper Island" is a novel about how your past mistakes can come back to haunt you & how deadly secrets from your past can intertwine with your present & affect your future. This is a good psychological thriller that held my attention with some suspense but while the ending was a bit surprising, it was a bit predictable as well. Also, this novel didn't have the jaw dropping twists & turns that I've come to expect from this genre, as some of the character POV's gave away what would have been shockers had they been revealed at the conclusion of the story.

Whisper Island grabbed my interest first with its name and great cover! Buried secrets on a island..count me in! This is my second read by this author and I found it had a very interesting storyline. The characters in this book stand out, because the author did a great job writing them into the book. There are many twists that will keep you turning the pages. It was a gripping fast read for me! I received my copy of this book from StoryOrigin and this is my honest voluntary review.

I found it a good story line and decently written. For my personal taste it jumped perspectives a bit too much. Still worth the read. Adding for me, an American, some exotic location in parts of the story made it more interesting.
Bottom line will this book have me looking for other works by the author. Probably.
