Elio is new to the whole 'landlord" thing, but he inherited an apartment building from his grandfather. This is where Lane settles down after leaving his old job and finding a new life in a different city. Eilo catches his eye right away, but he has no idea if the gorgeous "hottie" was even gay much less, interested. They are just two guys, landlord and tenant that need to find out who they are and maybe what they could be.

Elio has all the behavior of a "Daddy" but has no idea what that is or what it means and since he and his wife divorced, he's been busy with the apartment and hasn't had the time to think about dating. Lane asked if it was okay to have a pet and Elio said it was fine...so off Lane goes and brings home the cuddy, adorable little handful that he names Cat-terine. Things go along fine for Lane with his job, with his little fur-ball, but Elio who is already calling "Daddy" in his head...but not like he'd like to.

Lane comes home one day and Cat-terine is missing!!! There was no way she could get out. Eilo come to help. He comforts Lane as best he can and searches the apartment for the missing kitty. Cat-terine was okay when found and Lane goes back to wondering how to approach Elio about...well...the thing that is most on his mind. What can he say? The men that he dated in the past are great for "big" Lane...but they didn't understand or even try to understand his little side. Elios finds out about Lane being a little after dropping by his apartment with a gift for Cat-terine. From there, they explore both sides of their relationship. Finding that...hey... they do fit together in both areas and Elio starts to learn about being a "Daddy" and what his "little" likes and needs.

Of course, there is a brief appearance by the pair from the first book in he series... Bridger and Hudson. I really like visits by the other characters. Another happy ever after and a really cute kitty.

I have enjoyed this series, but I believe this book is my favorite so far. Lane is in search of a new beginning and lands in the apartment complex that Elio inherited from his grandfather when he passed. I like how this book does not have revengeful or nasty past relationships that caused the MCs to feel bad about themselves. They are just two men that need to find out who their person is. Elio is a Daddy but has no idea that this is probably the main reason most of his past relationships did not work. He is a caregiver through and through, which Lane finds out after Cat-terine goes missing a few days after he adopts her. Lane is a little and wonders if keeping a Daddy and a boyfriend separate would be better for him. The men he dated in the past are great for big Lane. They do not understand or even try to understand his little side though. Elios finds out about Lane being a little after dropping by his apartment with a gift for Cat-terine. From there, they explore both sides of their relationship. Finding that they fit together in both areas even as Elio learns about being a Daddy and what his little likes. Of course, there is a very brief appearance by our patriarchal pair, Bridger and Hudson. This one captured me from the beginning. I am not sure if it was because the characters are both very sweet, the fact the Daddy had no clue he is a Daddy and had to learn what that meant to him, the spunky kitten or just all of it combined. All I know, is I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for what happens next.

This was a cute and short read where a boy moves to a new place, gets a cute kitten, and develops a relationship with his new landlord from friends to dating. Elio learns about age play from Lane, overtime realizing that it's what's been missing from his prior relationships and that he really wants to be Lane's Daddy. They have a sweet instant connection where they become fast friends and feel really comfortable with each other. The more they hang out, the more they like each other and start to date. I liked that they naturally introduced Elio to age play in bits and pieces and that he did research on his own to see if he was comfortable with the kink aspects of their relationship. The sweet kitty definitely steals the show and captures both of their hearts.

I get so excited when a new book in this series comes out because they are so sweet and adorable to read. Lane's Lost Kitten didn't disappoint. I enjoyed Lane and Elio journey to their forever. Elio...a natural care giver finding himself loving being a daddy to his precious boy Lane. I loved the fact that Elio being new to the kink was not a make a break to their relationship...Lane was just looking for acceptance. I loved their dynamic...LOVED them...a sweet couple...oh I can't forget the kitty...loved her too...Very Nice!.

I really liked how this story was a little different from the others. The insta attraction was there but all the other things about the relationship built up with time and excellent communication! There was also angst and humor!

Parfois, vous devez perdre quelque chose pour retrouver la seule chose dont vous ignoriez qu'elle manquait.
Déménager dans une nouvelle ville, dans un nouvel immeuble, juste après une rupture merdique, c'est tout un changement à la fois. Je ne suis officiellement pas fan. Au moins, mon propriétaire est sexy… chaud et hétéro. C'est probablement pour le mieux. Je n'ai pas vraiment ma vie ensemble.

Quand mon chaton disparaît, je suis perdu. J'ai toujours fait très attention à ne pas laisser ma porte ouverte et je n'ai aucune idée de comment elle est sortie. Tout ce que je sais, c'est qu'elle est seule dans le grand monde, et c'est en quelque sorte de ma faute.
Alors qu'est-ce que je fais? Sanglotez assez fort pour que mon propriétaire puisse l'entendre. Il propose de m'aider à retrouver Cat-terine, et quand nous le faisons, il me fait un câlin – un câlin qui ne semble pas très droit. Maintenant quoi?

Part of the Found By Daddy series each an be read as a standalone with a sweet boy who needs a daddy and a daddy who needs his very own boy. Lane, a sweet boy moves to a new place which recks his nerves but the little Cat-terine goes missing a few days after he adopts her and heartbroken can’t begin to explain how he is feeling he needs a daddy so after searching he sits to have a good cry. Elio is the owner of the apartment complex he inherited from his grandfather, he has always been a caregiver but never having had a relationship that lasted but he doesn’t know that he is a daddy that may be the reason, when he finds his newest tenant in the hallway crying instinctively, he hugs him and promise to help him find Cat-terine. That leads to so much more so when he drops by his new tenant apartment with a gift for Cat-terine they discover so much in common Lane enjoys his company, and he enjoys taking care of him. Along the way they both learn a lot from one another Lane teaches him how to be a daddy and Elio learns he is a daddy a very good one but where are the two headed with a rambunctious little cat, and will it lead them to their own happiness?

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Lane and Elio. They were so sweet together and I liked how their relationship developed. Cat-terine was the perfect catalyst to really bring them together. (I would have panicked too if I were Lane!) I also loved the way the two of them communicated with trust and no judgement.

'I told him how I got into age play, the first time I realized that I was little, the things I enjoyed including footie pajamas, and pacifiers and squishy pillows and macaroni and cheese with little shapes. Especially the ones that were unicorns. I told him it all, and it fell from my lips with ease. I loved how he would ask clarifying questions along the way. Not once for even a nanosecond did I feel judged.'

I also liked that Elio didn't know anything about littles or daddies and it was all new to him but he could connect his caregiver nature with that of daddies though wasn't sure if it was for him. I liked his open-mindedness.

I couldn't get enough of these two. A very sweet read and one of my favorites in this series. 5 stars.

Elio, a seemingly straight but undeniably hot landlord, offers to help Lane find the kitten. They quickly bond during the search, revealing Elio isn't as straight as he seemed. As they spend more time together, their relationship evolves from landlord and tenant to friends, with hints of something more. Lane opens up to Elio about his little identity, complete with pajamas and pacifiers, and Elio, a natural caregiver, learns about age play and discovers that he enjoys being a Daddy. This new discovery leads to a deepening connection between the two as they navigate their unique relationship with things heating up between the two. This was a sweet story about Lane who is doing his best on his own to cope with life until he reaches his breaking point with his lost kitten. Elio was a nice guy who helped Lane and their relationship developed from there. I loved that something good came from such a naughty kitten and that the two men seemed to be a match made in heaven. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

A sweet entry in this series about daddy/little combos. In this one, Lane moves into a new apartment, gets a kitten, and then loses the kitten (no worries, he's just hiding). He assumes the kitten got out and breaks down crying in the hallway where the new landlord (a daddy type) happens to come along and offer help. Kitten found, attraction launched, and then on to getting to know each other better. When Lane opens the door to Elio one day while wear his onesie, instead of Elio turning away, he becomes more interested in learning about littles and their daddies.

I found this story a bit more believable than some of the others in the series, and it came fairly close to my favorite where we met Bridger, who happens to make a cameo here. But Elio does his research and slowly shows Lane that he not only accepts his lifestyle, he embraces it and eventually the two men find their way to co-habitation and their HEA.

This is just a slow, sweet buildup of a romantic kink relationship. No major traumas so it's great for those who want something mild.

I always love Cain's books. The storylines are so realistic and down to earth, and the characters are likeable, relatable, everyday people. Lane's Lost Kitten is no exception. Lane moves across the country to find a new job, getting away from his ex and his roommates in the process. He's starting over in a new place - both exciting and terrifying. Elio, his landlord, inherited the building from his grandfather when he passed (something he's still coming to terms with). Trial and error finds him being a full time superintendent to the building so he's there when Lane arrives and moves in.

When circumstances lead to Elio helping Lane find Cat-terina, their relationship begins to shift, is this change for the better or worse? Questions abound, but what are the answers. Delve into the pages and search them out. You won't be sorry.

Even though my memory can be faulty, I truly think this is my favorite story in the series... so far!

Lane and Elio (which I have NO clue how to pronounce) worked perfectly for me! Yes, Cat-terine stole the show, as animals are prone to do... but all the words come to mind when I think about her! Cute, adorable, troublemaker, demanding, ruler of the house... OK, one of those is "words", but you get the picture! 🥰🤣

I especially liked the way Lane and Elio started as friends/acquaintances first and then developed into more. It was encouraging to see that Lane realized that he didn't HAVE to have a Daddy to be a happy LITTLE, he just needed someone who would wholeheartedly accept and love his LITTLE self along with him as his BIG self... then, he found Elio, who not only accepted Lane, he also was open to exploring being a Daddy... Win/Win for Lane!!!

This is a sweet, caring story for our two men. We find a bi apartment manager, Elio, and a new tenant, Lane, with a new kitten. They meet and are attracted. They talk, and get along as the story moves forward.
Cat-erine...

Lane belongs to a club for "littles" and Elio hits the internet to find information on what that means. Elio has always been a nurturing, caring, helpful person. We see them interact, have a bit of angst, with uncertainties, and feelings shown, too. This is a calm, comforting tale of two lonely souls finding new life.

We are informed, and shown how they get together, and slowly reach deep emotions and more. Their sexy times are hot, and play time is adorable. Elio is a terrific Daddy.

You will enjoy these tender souls and we get an HEA.

This is a cute short story with likeable MC's and no angst, but the first half was pretty slow and boring. Lane and Elio are attracted to one another instantly, but take their time getting to know one another. In the second half, the time they spend together jumps ahead by indeterminate amounts of time while they get to know one another and slowly progress from one stage to another in their relationship. They fall in love and do have a sweet HEA, but it wasn't until the last few chapters that I started to feel the slightest connection between them.
There were quite a few inconsistencies that will hopefully be fixed, along with typos and such, for the final copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Lane, who is a little, and had to move across the state away from his ex, and to a new job and a new future. He bumps into his landlord, Elio on the way in who helps him move his stuff from the trailer into his new apartment, and he feels a connection with him. Both men are attracted to each other, and eventually Lane introduces Elio into the DdLb scene, and is happy when Elio is willing to work with Lane in his kink. to both wonder, Elio embraces his role with open arms, and eventually, they find themselves living together and working towards a happily ever after.

I think this is one of my favorites in the Found by Daddy series. For some reason, Lane really spoke to me, maybe because we are both “cat people”. He was so sweet, aware that if Elio couldn’t be a Daddy but was okay with him being Little sometimes, it would work. Elio was so accepting of Lane and his Little side from the start, calmly listening to Lane’s explanations and researching on his own to try to understand this lifestyle, “vanilla” but willing to explore for this man he was coming to adore. I just had a light, happy feeling while reading the entire book. Loved both characters and Cat-terine— great cat name, that one. Very entertaining read.

This book is amazing!! The story of Lane and Elio is sweet, wonderful and a whole lot of fun to read! The two meet when Lane moves into the apartment building that Elio owns. Their adventure together truly starts when Lane can’t find his kitten. The two grow closer as the story evolves and I love the way it happens. Elio learns some new things about himself and Lane finds the Daddy that’s just right for him. Add in one adorable and spoiled little kitten and you get an enjoyable story that is a pleasure to read!.

So on a positive I generally love Della's book and the Daddy/Little genre but I don't why but the last couple of books in this series just haven't "gelled" for me. This series started so well and absolutely loved the first 6 books but haven't been able to "bond" with the characters in the last three! Apart from that as always very well written and the lifestyle element is accurately covered - low angst with a hea. Still definitely worth a read as Della "not at her best" is still better than most other authors.

I loved Lane's Lost Kitten Book 9 of Found by Daddy. Lane just moved for a new job and an apartment by himself. He wasn’t expecting the owner, Elio, to spark something within him. Elio isn’t a Daddy but meeting Lane has him exploring things he’s never thought of. He’s always been a caretaker and maybe bung a Daddy is right up his alley. This is a sweet story and I loved the characters. Lane and Elio are perfect for each other and will have a great future with their cat. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Wow, I am really loving this book. Lane moved into another apartment, Lane went the next day and bought a cat and everything the cat needs and more just in case. Elio owns the group of apartments he does majority of the maintenance and repairs. Elio was walking around when he heard someone crying and found it to be Lane he can't find his cat, they went back into the apartment looking until they heard the little cat. They both had the hots for each other but Elio doesn't know if he could be a Daddy he didn't know what it entails.

This was sweet! This is in the top three of my favorites. Lane moves to.a new city, new job and finds a cat whom he names Cat-terine. Elio, has an apartment in the building and serves as the handyperson. He also owns the building and makes it tenant friendly. One day, Lane can’t find his kitten when he comes home and he is a bit frantic because he thought he protected her better. Elio, helps out and thus begins a delightful friendship. These guys were at ease, friendly and they both were adorable. Elio, learns a few things about himself and learns why his past relationships were so strained. Good story, very nice. Good flow. The main characters are Lane, who is a little, and Elio, who has never been a daddy. This was a no angst, low spice, sweet and fluffy story.
I always enjoy the time the little spends in age regression. In this story Lane is very honest with Elio, letting him know he doesn't want to be
a 24/7 little. This makes a lot of sense, because of Lane's career. Also, it gives Elio less pressure as a new-to-the lifestyle daddy.
I loved their relationship, and felt the growing enjoyment and love they found with each other.
I am looking forward to the next book in this fun series.

Lane and Elio were perfect together! I loved the connection and chemistry between Lane and Elio. Elio and Lane both just want to find their person but they never guessed it would be with each other. These two have to navigate through a new relationship, as well as Elio working through me being a Daddy and Lane getting a Daddy and boyfriend in one man. I really enjoyed this book and this whole series; I can't wait for more.

Lane moves into an apartment and gets a kitten named Cat-terine. Elio is his landlord who appears to not know he is a natural Daddy, just who Lane needs, When his kitten is lost, Elio helps him find her and their love story begins. Lane is an adjusted Little who is confident in himself. Elio is sweet and kind and a huge caregiver. Both realize they can just be who they are around each other. It's a delightful Daddy/Little story. I received a copy of his book through Booksprout and this is my voluntary opinion.

It's like an addiction, I just can't stop reading these. Not sure it's a good addiction. But a guy moves into an apartment building, gets a cat and his hot landlord helps him find it when it gets lost and suddenly becomes a daddy in training. I mean at least they didn't move in together right away and I appreciated that Lane was very up front about his life, so yeah, pure brain candy and I keep picking them up so the author's doing something right. (Would I purchase it? No, but using KU it's a quick easy read.)

Lane needed to move to a new location and found the perfect apartment that allowed pets. Meeting his new landlord, Lane finds him Daddy material but is afraid to put his hopes onto Elio. Elio’s never thought about being a Daddy but he’s got all the traits of being one. Being attracted to adorable Lane is easy but Elio doesn’t want to let Lane down if he can be the Daddy he needs. Cat-terrine is the perfect kitty until she becomes lost!

Lane have moved to a new place for a job and he didn't know anybody. He adopted a kitten and when he thought he had lost her his super hot landlord Elio jumped into help. Elio struggled in relationships because he had a caretaker nature and the people he tended to date were super independent. But when he meets Lane things finally click he's a daddy.

This story is all things sweet and one of the reasons that I love to read Little stories. They make me laugh and enjoy the simple things in life. Lane found a Daddy when he wasn’t looking and Elio found an outlet for his need to nurture and care for someone. The story is well written and entertaining.
