Love is just a swipe away - if you're not afraid to walk the plank.
Edge, once a fledgling pirate sailing alongside Blackbeard, is now spiritually bound to a plank of wood from the gallows where he met his tragic end. Haunted by his past and seeking redemption, he never expected to find love in such an unusual way. Immy, a young witch from a powerful family, desires a quiet, peaceful life. Lacking confidence in her own powers, she's determined to find love and prove to herself that she can forge her own path.
Together, Edge and Immy embark on a heartwarming adventure filled with magical mishaps, ghostly capers, and the undeniable power of love. As they navigate life after their paranormal dating app fiasco, they'll learn that sometimes the most unexpected encounters can create the most enchanting stories.
In Swipe for Ghosts, love transcends the barriers of time and the supernatural, proving that even the most unlikely pairings can lead to a happily ever after. This delightful tale of romance, self-discovery, and adventure will sweep you off your feet and leave you rooting for the extraordinary couple that fate brought together.
Cute story that I got for free from the author. This review is voluntary. Immy is a witch who isn't very 'witchy.' This means her powerful family has no use for her since she can't be used to further their ambitions by marrying her off to another prominent family. She had her friends, but she really wants a boyfriend. She registers at a local dating agency to try to find Mr. Right, or at least someone she likes to be around.
Edge is a ghost who hasn't been allowed to move on and is currently stuck carrying around a piece of the plank he was forced to walk. On his way to the cage arranged for him by a dating agency, he is run through by a car in the parking lot and then yelled at for scratching the same diva's car with his plank. This woman is very annoying and now it appears he is attached to her, instead of the plank.
There is more intrigue to the story. An evil witch, a overbearing mother, a unicorn....
This was a fun and unique enemies to lovers paranormal story. Immy and Edge weren't meant to meet through the dating app they both signed up for, yet Fate had them (literally) running into eachother in the parking lot. Usually soft spoken, Immy is snarky and sassy while passive Edge is belligerent and obstinate. To say they clash is an understatement, yet somehow they become attached when she breaks his plank (long story). I adored how Edge took up for her with her mother despite their own issues, and how Immy defended him as well. There were some creative steamy scenes as well that you simply have to read to believe. I can't wait to read more of this wonderful series!
I really enjoyed this story and finished it in one sitting. I thought the idea of a ghost and a witch together was fun. The beginning where the two go to the dating service and then meet later was funny. It was entertaining how they interacted. I really liked seeing both Immy and Edge standing up to Immy's family. It's a fun friends to lovers paranormal story. I enjoyed the spicy bits between the two as well. I thought the ending was great. I would highly recommend it. I received this book as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was such an entertaining addition to the series and I love the idea of a witch and a ghost getting together. Immy is a witch that has been shunned by her family for not being as powerful as they want and Edge is a pirate ghost that got stuck to his plank. Yes, the plank he had to 'walk' ;) They both go to the dating agency and I giggled at their interactions until the heat hit ;D Expect to get caught up in the humour, drama and steam as these two work together to stand up to her family and get their steamy HEA. Good fun!
This datingagency is hilarious, but all is well that ends well. Our heroine is a witch who cannot use her witchcraft as expected, resulting in being shunned by her family. She meets a ghost who turns out to more than the annoyance she first thought. Throw in a grimoire, rivalling witches and a very steamy ghostly hump at a festival and I am a happy reader. Had me laughing out loud, even teary eyed and flustered so I recommend this read wholeheartedly.

Don't let the cover fool you! This was such a fun and spicy little read! It's perfect for the upcoming spooky season. I mean, a ghost MMC and a witch FMC?! Sign me up. And they were doing a lot more than dancing on the ceiling *wink*
