It’s all fun and games

Until someone loses their heart.

Winter hits hard over the holidays, and rancher Daisy Dalton finds herself snowed in with her neighbor and best friend, Finn Murphy. There's nothing to do but wait it out in front of the fireplace. Feeling cozy and sentimental, Daisy starts dreaming of life with a family. But for now, she’s wishing for a New Year’s snuggle with a hottie.

When it comes to relationships, Finn doesn’t do serious or forever, but he does like to have fun. Obliging Daisy in her romantic request just this once—or twice—will be a great start to the year. A brief affair with no commitment! What could go wrong? The countdown has begun. Will they be friends or lovers when midnight strikes?

This was a great cowboy romance, and I really enjoyed it. It also had a lot of heart. I hadn't read anything from this author before, and this book is part of a series, but I was pulled right into the story, and I felt like I didn't miss anything from the previous books. I wouldn't mind reading them, though. The author has a way of progressing the story that keeps you intrigued and interested. I liked all the characters and really felt the love between Daisy and Finn. I was so happy with the ending and how Finn finally started believing in himself and that Daisy got everything that she wished for from her New Year's list and that together they got their happily ever after. There were a lot of cute and funny moments in this book, but there are some touching and heartfelt moments as well. I think you'll like this book. (I won a copy of this book from the author in an Instagram giveaway)

I could not wait for Daisy’s story, and it was everything I hoped for. Such a wonderful story and a great addition to the Women of Dalton Ranch. Friends that become more than friends because of a snowstorm and who think they can go back to being just friends without commitment made for an amusing and poignant story. Family plays a major part for both Daisy and Finn. I loved catching up with the previous characters, but did not feel like it was necessary to have read the other two to follow the third book. Ms. Lee has quite a talent of writing about people and their thoughts and emotions. Just like the other two books, I cried and laughed. I hope Ms. Lee has plans for Finn’s brothers. I voluntarily read an advance copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another trip to Dalton Ranch!

Daisy and Finn are best friends with neighboring ranches. An ice storm over New Years eve has them stranded together with no electricity. Daisy has a wish list for the upcoming year and Finn needs to determine if he can assist her with her list.

Makenna Lee's books are such a delightful read. Her characters have warmth and depth, and I can always imagine myself in the settings. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed Her New Year's Wish List by Makenna Lee. It is a feel good, friends-to-lovers, blended family, romance story. Daisy Dalton is such a likable heroine. She wants it all--a husband and a family. Unfortunately, the man of her choice doesn't want marriage or to be a father. Their journey is full of secrets and surprises leading to their eventual happily-ever-after. If you like good romance stories, you'll definitely want to check this one out.

Makenna Lee’s small town romances always stir my emotions, filling my heart with love, and Her New Year’s Wish List did all of that and more. I got all the flutters and butterflies reading Daisy and Finn’s story, although it was not always smooth sailing. I felt all their highs and lows, hoping that all of Daisy’s wish list would come true!!
