Dr Melchiorri has crafted an amazing series. Intriguing. Visceral.  Evolving. Challenging. Thought provoking. In parts, absolutely terrifying. "Sunken Starship" (book 1) was riveting, the reader is compelled to continue to turn the page. Then look for the publication of the next book.

In "Terminal Pursuit" the story continues honing in further in the intrigue, pursuit of objectives, and evolution of the characters/their relationships and the general story. Some nasty stuff challenges our wonderful protagonists as well as food for thought.

Each book has an accomplishment; an ending.  And there is some hard science in terms of bioengineering and epidemiology. A bit of philosophy and wisdom. Beautifully written.

The story line has me hooked, I just must see how it ends

For me the violence sometimes gets over the top. What I find quite fascinating is trying to imagine what all of those different beings would actually look like. I definitely want to follow Fin and his friends to the end of this adventure!

Twists galore

How can you fall to boy and his dog! Still it's a lot of twists and some of what you expect to happen does happen but in a different way.

Fin is determined to catch Vivray and Yockey. They have his dog!

Born on Earth, Ranger Fin commanded the upgraded Gate-class ship, the Bruce, and his small crew consisting forof former Marine Master Sergeant Sable Renata, also human though not from Earth. Weapon specialist Drake is a Thraaxen appearing more like a demon from the gates of Hell than a Ranger recruit. The fourth member of the Bruce's crew was a biological-mechanical artificial intelligence organism. Officially, Audrey, was called a Raktor. Unofficially, to them, she was their
n favorite talking plant.

Their current job was a simple 2 star pickup that became a 5 star mess! It's going to take an army to get out of this fix. But just maybe they know just the right army and have just the right plan to make everything come out right.

The right characters can make any story better. The right story can make characters better. The right characters and the right story can make a book exceptional! This exceptional combination creates sleepless nights, too excited to sleep when all the hullabaloo is happening! This is great read!
