Ok I don't know if I missed something somewhere or there was a disconnect about to how this book was going to play out but I was completely thrown with how things went down with Archer. Considering his POV is prominent in this book. So those last final chapters, maybe a bit more, dumbfounded me. And because of that I really want to give this book 3 stars. The writing is good, the overall story is good, and the characters are good. But that just irked me. I was expecting a hea with Archer.

While I found the story enjoyable overall, I was surprised by the ending. I felt that the story was more focused on Arch's awakening & his issues throughout the book, and the plot twist at the end seemed to undermine that. I felt like his part of the story overpowered Ryder's. As his character was more developed than Ryder. Maybe I will reread and try to focus on Ryder's POV more. Maybe because he didn't have issues. I was disappointed that Arch did not put up more of a fight, as it felt like a missed opportunity for a satisfying conclusion. Then I felt Ryder was just used by Arch, and this upset me. The ending left me feeling conflicted and frustrated, as I had become invested in the characters and their journey. I threw my Kindle at the end. I had to sit, think, and process that ending. I did love that plot twist, although the HEA was too short. I needed more from all of the MC's! A second book would be great because I have questions. LOL. Why Harley, why???? LOL.

I need a cold shower after reading this. Harley Raige has done it again with this MM banger. This is a motorcross romance which is something completely new to me and I was not disappointed! Massive plot twist at the end which I’ve come to expect from Harley and had the most perfect ending. This is enemies to lovers like proper enemies not just dislike! You will feel many emotions reading this book from happiness to sadness to sympathetic to hatred lol this book has it all!

What a fantastic ride reading Ryders novel was. I absolutely loved it ❤️❤️❤️ He is such a gorgeous soul, he’s friendly, caring manner has everyone liking him all except one, until everything shifts. I love Jay ❤️ he’s the perfect partner for him. I love that Ryder is a winner in the dirt bike scene. I just really loved everything about this story. I do feel sorry for Arch, hope his life works out. A definite page turner, I was thoroughly entertained reading this book. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎

I’m not really sure where to be start. There was quite a bit that I didn’t get or just felt really wasn’t necessary to the story. I’m about to summarize a lot of it because I just didn’t get it. I didn’t dislike the book, I was just thrown off by a lot of it.

This is an enemies to lovers/rivals to lovers. But the reason they hated each other was just because one was rich the other wasn’t? They raced each other but it just seemed like both of their hatred came from jealousy.
Then one drunken night of Ryder being nice to Arch, he’s immediately obsessed with Ryder ready to jump his bones. He went from straight to gay in 0.5 seconds.

THEN they finally get together and it’s so rushed that after something like 2 weeks they’re in love. They spend no time getting to know each other, they just spend it all getting down and dirty but they are some how in love.

Everything up until probably 70% was rushed and had a lot of filler details.

At about 85% is where things get really confusing. There’s an arranged marriage bomb dropped. Okay, cool now he’s going to fight for his man he loves so much. NOPE. ARCH GOES THROUGH WITH THE WEDDING AND THE PLAN TO GET HER PREGNANT!
Then has the audacity to show up the day after his wedding to try to get Ryder back like that didn’t just happen? 🙄

Then it jumps forward a year, and there’s a first meet up scene between Arch and Ryder. The way the scene ended I thought what was revealed was just a way for Jay to protect Ryder from Arch like he’s always done.

Then it jumps backwards six months and explains what that scene meant and everything leading up to it. (this was really frustrating and unnecessary. It could have just been played out in order instead of jumping forward to jump back to explain and then rewrite the scene again)

Arch is having a baby with his wife, and he’s so excited about the baby because now he will no longer be alone and he will be able to love his child like he was never loved. Okay that’s awesome, go Arch.
But now Ryder and Jay are together and in love and Arch is history. But we still get scenes of Arch pining over Ryder while Ryder is riding off into the sunset with Jay.

I loved Ryder and Jay and I had thought earlier on in the book that I wished it was their story instead of Arch and Ryder.
Arch and Ryder just had no chemistry, there was nothing to their relationship aside from physically. Maybe that’s because it was rushed and there was no relationship development at all?
The entire thing with Arch was just so drawn out for Ryder to just end up with Jay in the last 10% of the book. 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my biggest things is the fact that they NEVER ONCE used lube barely even used spit just a little bit on his fingers. The amount that Ryder hooked up you would think he would have some travel size atleast, but nope. Not once, not even at home. I cringed every time.

Ryder has forever had to work for what he has, nothing has just been handed to him. His life is bikes, work, and his mom. His dad has never been in his life but his mom has always been his world, his “Dad” Derek stepped up when he was 2 and never left, and he’s the reason Ryder loves bikes as much as he does. While Ryder doesn’t have the best gear or best equipment but he has the skills and the confidence to compensate for what he lacks. He is needing to do his best so he can secure a spot on the race team, this spot will change everything for him and his family. With his focus on his career a relationship was never a priority, but Ryder isn’t shy he is who he is and he has no shame in taking from who is willing to give. But the thing is when Ryder loves he loves hard, but when you cross him he will write you off, he may appear as a tough guy but he’s got the biggest heart of anyone you’ll ever meet.

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Holy freakin smokes! This was my first read by Harley and it will NOT be my last! This book is multi pov but I only did Ryder he is the main focus but yeah…you’ll have to read, the amount of time my jaw dropped for the turns wow! This is an MM but poor Ryder crosses paths with a few different men (he NEVER cheats). Lee, Arch, Jay…omg my heart was pulled in so many ways. Ryder loves so hard and he puts his all into everything he does, but sometimes people need to give him their all. This is a HEA so don’t worry, also no cliffhanger. Wow this is just wow, that is all I can say truly, just go grab this book!

I just want to say I did not hate this book. I enjoyed a lot of it but I feel as if it missed its mark on a few points. It could have been amazing if the second half wasn’t so rushed and the first half had a lot less unnecessary details and scenes. I hate leaving a review that isn’t the best because I did enjoy a lot of it. And it could have been an awesome read if it would have focused more on them instead of rushing through the actual love aspect.
The spicy scenes were good but lacking in the sense that they felt fake.
There was to much happening in the first half of the book that had nothing to contribute to the story line. When the MC’s finally got together it was so quick that it didn’t feel real. Ryder went from hating him to loving him in one page and it barely made sense. He had no thought process in the entire first half about even thinking he was attractive then bam let’s try to be together.
Arch was just annoying. He didn’t seem to know to function in life, which is understandable to a point with how he was raised with everything being taken care of for him. But he wanted all these changes to be made to himself then all of a sudden it was like he never had those thoughts.
I enjoyed a lot of the book, but I stopped at about 80% and just couldn’t go any further. It really became too much at about 60% because it just felt to forced and unrealistic.

This was one wild ride! Whoops, ruts, turns, rollers, jumps- losses and big wins! I can say with absolute honesty I never saw that ending coming, this author knows how to twist a plot.

Ryder is the perfect combination- the bad boy exterior with the kindest heart & he rides like hell on two wheels, literally not sure it could get any better.

Love is such a beautiful thing but it can also be tragic, it’s definitely not for the weak. True love needs two people on the same page, willing to fight beside each other, & with no doubts. Well for Ryder heartbreak can open your eyes to so much, making you realize how much you deserve & showing you things that have been right in front of you all along.

Shout out to the author Harley for the Terminology pages in the book, I’m sure the racer lingo could be quite confusing to people not involved or fans of the sport

Seppy's 5+ Star Review:

This is my new favorite from Harley Raige. This one is MM, a motocross romance that I devoured last night.  I read it from cover to cover and loved it.  Ryder is the poor guy motocross racer who works hard it and Arch is the rich motocross racer who has everything but love and support from anyone.  Arch is jealous of Ryder because he has friends and his dad is always there to help and cheer him on. Plus he is 10x better than Arch and he knows it.  Things are rocky when these two meet until Arch realizes his feelings for Ryder. Will Arch be able to convince Ryder to go from his enemy to his lover? Then when things are going great BAM; a massive plot twist that changes everything.
Wow, this was an amazing story that had me feeling so many emotions. I loved the poor little rich boy Arch who had everything that money could buy but no one in his life. I loved Ryder because he was kind, and caring. It broke my heart when either of these two were hurting. I connected to them and loved these characters. I was so shocked by the twist that I didn't see coming and I am still reeling from that. This one is a must-read if you like MM enemies-to-lovers romance with a little bit dark and twisted that I couldn't get enough of this one.

♡Harley Raige knows how to tell a heart gripping story. What a phenomenal read Holeshot Heathen is. Ryder’s character has so much depth, charm, charisma, and compassion. A good honest beautiful soul. Oh and he’s smoking sexy AF. Does he have some rough edges and emotional walls built from past difficult experiences? Yes, but he does not let it hinder his life goals or who he is as a person.
♡Holeshot Heathen is fast paced, and once you are sucked in, you will not put this book down. This MM enemies to lovers romance sends you on a rough ride to get to an HAE of epic proportions. The chemistry is intense and the spice is off the charts right from the get-go. It starts hot and heavy super early in the book and never lets up. (thankfully) I had a sinful smirk and flush cheeks the whole way.
♡I love everything about this book. The plot, the characters, the pacing, the intensity of emotion all comes together to make one fabulous read.

This is the first MM Romance that I've read, and it did not disappoint.

I've always loved motocross, and the heat that these men bring who participate, and this was perfect.

Ryder is that bad boy we all want, and Arch is that posh, have it all douche who is clearly in the closet and afraid of being outed.

I absolutely loved Ryders' character. He's s3x on legs, and boy, is he hot. The way he takes charge is spicy as ever. He knows what he wants and doesn't back down.

Arch, on the other hand, needs a reality check. You can't have your cake and eat it too, but he seems to think that you can. He gets everything he deserves

The angst, spice, and chemistry are on point. Of course, it would be a book by Harley Raige without a curveball, and that curveball is the best thing ever.

If you're looking for a spicy MM Romance, this one is what you need.

Wow! What a book. This book is an absolute breath of fresh air. Yes you need to check your trigger warnings as it’s M/M and it gets rough and yes you get your HEA but it really is a different kind. Everyone deserves to be someone’s number 1 and if you aren’t willing to make them number 1 then someone else will.
I don’t want to give too much of the story away as I really enjoyed the book with little knowledge going in.
Harley’s style of writing really comes alive in this book and I felt a range emotion for each of the characters.
Also a big plus for me is that Harley is British and where many people wouldn’t, I understand all the little ism’s.
Throughly enjoyed this book and glad that I got an advanced copy.

I feel in love with Harley's Reapers MC series. She told me that this book would be different and she was not lying, but it was still amazing.
Enemies to lovers is my top trope so this book was a must read. I loved reading and learning more about motorcross, something I think I want to read more on!
Ryder had me from the beginning. The bad boy attitude just does it for me and Ryder has that, but also has the sweet lovable side as well.
This book was a page turner and Harley brought the MM spice.
She knows how to get those twists in there without you seeing them and sometimes even noticing them until the twist is revealed.

This is my first book from Harley Raige and it was really good . The spice started at 3% so that made me happy and it just kept getting hotter and add Ryders dirty talk to that and I was fit for nothing . Although I wanted to hate Arch I really couldn’t , after all he did what he did to try and win his families love and we all know how those things work out . Ryder and Jay just WOW! their chemistry was palpable and they said they were just best friends erm nope we all knew you meant more to each other and I’m not going to tell you i squealed when things started to take off 😆

Ok soooo this is the first strictly M/M romance I have read. And ooooooof was it hooooottttttt 🔥
Ryder was just perfection! I could spend my days and nights trying to change his ways hahahaha boy is fineeeee 🥵🥵
I loved Arch but soon realised he would be who Ryder needs him to be.
Then the unexpected happened! And I was so there for it! I kind of wish we saw more of them to be honest. Yes I’m glad they got their HEA I need to read more!!!

This was my first read by Harley Raige, and I really enjoyed it.
I really took to Ryder straight away but God, when his dominant side comes out to play, he's a completely different person!
Full of dirty bikers and dirty talk this follows Ryder on his quest to find his person... even if he's not looking for him or anything serious.. or so he thinks lol
Doesn't quite follow the way you think its gonna go but I liked that about it!

Holy moly the way Harley Raige tells a story! Jumping from place to place and there is always a twist that you miss until it's revealed.
It took a minute to get into this story, possibly because I have no idea about motorcross but once you get into the story it drags you along and suddenly you're finished without even realising it. And I have to repeat the TWISTS AND TURNS!!
Loved it.

Ryder has one mission to ride and be the best he can. Nothing has been handed to him. He has what he has, well he has worked hard. Nothing will stand in his way. Till Arch is rich boy. Everything has been handed to him. One wild ride with this book. Love, love the twist at the end. MM has never looked this good.

So coming from Reapers of Ravenswood that I absolutely loved this seriously switched gears.
Now I will say MM isn't typically my kind of read but Harley has become one of those if she writes it I'm gonna read it kind of authors.
Something I love about the writing is how much depth the characters have and the connection you feel for them.
Another sexy spicy revved up ride!

This was an awesome story, until it wasn't. I'm really disappointed that ms Raige's MO for her endings of her books, seems to be turning into a habit.
I read and absolutely loved her Reaper series, but hated the ending. Personally, I think she's trying to give the reader a twist, but it's not working.
In this case, the ending was a real disappointment to me.

I see moto x I wanna read it but enemies to lover and im there with bells on.

But this just isn’t my vibe. It had so much potential with rich guy/poor guy rivals. The dirty talk seemed so out of place plus the dialogue and inner monologue gave me secondhand embarrassment.

Ok, unpopular opinion, but I’m SO happy that Arch and Ryder didn’t end up together. Arch NEVER put in the work for Ryder’s affection! He never deserved him. I was so happy with the plot twist that Ryder and Jay ended up together. This books was pretty well written. I am happy with it overall.
