Tropes: A Quick Reference Guide

I struggled with trying to write my first novel because all the writing resources I found told me about the story structure. None of them helped with being creative. Structure is important, but so is content. This resource offers writers themes and tropes without the structure, so authors can see them as ideas instead of as things tied to a specific story structure or genre.

This book contains all the tropes that my research has found. I am not making a judgement about the moral, legal, or political issues involved with each trope. I have attempted to make this book as accessible as possible. However, some tropes may be uncomfortable for some readers.

It was a good information but somehow it wasn't what I genuinely expected.
