I adore Maria Frost's mafia books, they're all sooo good! This one was no different. It's an age gap, forced marriage mafia romance where the hero is extremely jealous/possessive and the heroine is innocent. I loved it. Can't wait to see what she writes next!!

Alessandro Rossi knows he should not be as obsessed with the beautiful Jess but he has kept his distance and she is unaware of his presence. When her normal routine veers though, Alessandro follows at a distance to see what is going on only to find an enemy who he has a truce with is going to hurt Jess. He steps in and tells Jess the only way to keep her safe, is marriage.
Jess knew her father was less than honorable, but to leave her to clean up his debts putting her in danger is beyond what she imagined. Alessandro rescues her and now Jess finds herself wrapped up in a life completely opposite what she is used to. Can what starts as a marriage ruse turn to something wonderful between Alessandro and Jess?
I was torn a bit on this one because I just felt that Alessandro puts everything in jeopardy for Jess and it was a bit muddled at times. Overall entertaining and I would check out other books in this series.

The start of the Rossi Mafia Brides series so make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Jess is a sweetheart that you want to hug letting her know things will work out she has a father who sold her to one of the most dangerous men out there in payment for the debt he owes, it doesn’t boost her self-esteem which is low because she has few more curves then most and when he comes to claim her she isn’t sure what to think/do/say however, he doesn’t mistreat her. Alessandro sexy as all get out mafia king dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day when he goes to collect a debt from a man who owes it because he can’t pay, he gives his daughter as a form of payment, and so the stalking begins watching what he owns, protecting what he owns, collecting what he owns. Showing up she is extremely confused of he is demanding of her hurt as she may with her father she has no choice but to get to know the man who is demanding she marry him but how will it go, will they get to know each other learning to love one another, will he keep her safe, protected, will she learn to trust him as her husband, will her father get what he deserves so many questions but the main one is where are they headed ….happiness?

Great start to the books, the first few chapters had me hooked. Innocent, inexperienced FMC with an older, very experienced Mafia Don.
Jess had had a tough life, her mom died while she was very young, her father is an alcoholic and her boss is a creep. All that changes one day when 3 men bust into her home demanding money from her father. When Jess tells them he isn't there they want to sell her for profit. Just as things are getting dicey Alessandro bursts in and kills 2 of the 3 men. He then whisks Jess to his hotel to keep her safe. Soon she finds out she has been his obsession for a year,and instead of her running, she is drawn to him. Demons from his past emerge, waring with another Mafia leader is upon him.
Can he keep Jess safe from his past?
Spice throughout and it begins in chapter 5.

Wow, this was absolutely astounded book to read, the story was written well and the characters Jess and Alessandro Rossi, Jess was oblivious that her parents wanted to get out of the Mafia and one family inparticular the Garibaldi's are very dangerous and they want to collect an outstanding debt, then you have Alessandro is the Mafia boss he is giving Jess an Ultimatum to marry him and be protected by being married and the Rossi name. I really couldn't put the book down I would recommend reading this book.

If hot, dangerous alpha protectors are your jam then this book is for you. I enjoyed this fast past romance.

Loved the storyline, but...
I loved the plot, just a few minor annoyances. The story takes place in such a short timeline that it's hard to believe that Jess fell in love with Alessandro within 1 day. I can believe he loved her that fast because he was watching her for so long before that. Also, just when it seemed that Alessandro was over his issues with control and Jess with her struggles of being strong/confident, it kept being brought up over and over again to the point that it was just annoying. Other than that, the plot was great and I loved Jess and Alessandro together and the life they built.

Alessandro is obsessed with Jess. Jess becomes in danger because of her terrible father. Alessandro comes to the rescue and the story of Alessandro and Jess's relationship was fantastic and really steamy. It felt really good reading this book because Alessandro and Jess's relationship is fascinating. Great book.

This is the first book that I've read by Maria Frost and I loved it so much that I went and downloaded her previous books. This is the first book in the Rossi Mafia Brides series and it features Alessandro and Jess, both very likeable characters. If you're into mafia romance that's not too dark, you will enjoy this book.

The first time that he sees her he knows that he has to have her, when he sees her head back home instead of going to work. He knows that he needs to investigate, what he finds is that she is unemployed. Following her home he sees that she has some uninvited company, and know who they work for. His protective alpha kicks in and he knows that she will only be safe with him.

This is Book 1 of The Rossi Mafia Brides. It is a stand-alone insta-everything Mafia Romance.
I really enjoyed this book. Loved the storyline and the pace of it. Also loved the progression that each of the main characters make throughout the book as well. Also the bit of delicious steam, bit of action and that wonderful HEA that gives you all the feels.

Just ok

This book starts off fast and just keeps going. The author warns from the start that’s this is an insta-love (MC first) and age gap.
The age difference didn’t bother me but I didn’t like the writing. I felt a lot of unnecessary words were used when simpler would have been better. I didn’t particularly care for the FMC or the MC which made it a challenge to finish.
I won’t be continuing with the series.

Oh my god! I love a fast paced book, but this one didn't really have a story. Just sex! So if that's what you are looking for, then it’s a 4/5 Star but if you crave a real ass story then, it’s just not right. She falls in love in 3 seconds of knowing him, gets married, shows no real reluctance. Just did not feel believable. The writing style is good though.

Welllll... It kind of was just repetitive with words, but it was also beautifully written. But I really just expected it to have more action, more talking, and less thoughts. That's the reason I picked up the book, but I really had to force myself to finish it, sooo I'll just let that speak for itself.

I just didn’t like this. It was insta-love, but with no reasoning behind it. Also, why the fuck did Jess think she could single-handedly take on a mafia boss like she’s fucking John Wick.
