As someone who loves English countryside, cottagecore, vintage vibes, and nature this tiny book was blissful. I was always in love with this author's posts on her page so i was excited when i heard she was writing a book. It was simple yet beautiful!

All the same,this book might not be for everyone. It is more like a beautiful collection of words, that brings back memories and feels nostalgic, aesthetically. It is something that you should read only one chapter a day, to enjoy every bit of it.

I love the cottage core vibe. It reminds me of Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" book series, which I used to love when I was little. That's the main reason I kept reading this book until the end. I like that nostalgic vibe.

However, so many things are overly repeated, and overly exaggerated, which is very annoying.

I've read about her curly hair many times on one page, and it keeps repeating. Also, there's nothing happening in the book. It's more like an appreciation of how beautiful the environment is. But that also gets annoying because the author doesn't use full stop. Sometimes a whole paragraph is one sentence. That's unnecessary & it makes the reading experience hard for no reason. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to have long sentences. But saying so many things at once that aren't even correlated to each other isn't that cute.

Overall, I just liked the concept of cottage core. However, the writing feels so dull & more like the Google-translated version of another book.

DNF! I love a cozy cottage vibe, country life in mountains and childhood memories but I found this book so difficult to read. The overly emphasized details and exaggerated monologues made it feel unauthentic. I tried to read this couple times because It’s nice to read nostalgic memories. but didn’t find it worth continuing.
