Disappointing. I am glad this book exists but it feels poorly balanced. In parts it approaches subjects (such as LLMs, Team Topologies) in a cursory, throwaway manner which makes me suspect the authors were pressed into covering "hot" topics by the publisher. On the other hand, some parts were very bogged down in specific implementation options (such as data contracts in Bitol or specific roadmaps for developing a team).
There were good bits but I ultimately skimmed much of it as it didn't feel generally applicable.
