The book is sweet and cute and I liked the focus on the society and community. But I felt the book was a little incomplete, since we never saw the dinner of the old couple and the mural.

The last 20% also felt a little rushed, I wished I could see more depth in the characters and discussion of their past. And the end was predictable, though I liked how both the characters respected each other's wishes.

Worth giving it a read.

There were quite a few things I was disappointed in while reading this book. Like overused terms and the mystery of the wishing wall and lead up to the romance. But still a cute read. Loved the community aspect and the idea of the wishing wall. Just kind of lacking in a few areas. Overall still a cute read though.

Beanful Wishes is book #5 in the fall season of the multi-author Coffee Loft series. This story is the absolute sweetest, and it isn't just from all the yummy coffee and treats mentioned all through the book (it will have your mouth watering, though)!

This is the first of the CL stories I've read where the shop itself is its own character. It's an important one, too! Jake is a barista at the Coffee Loft and is awesome at making his customers feel special. He has the power of observation and small, meaningful chit-chat, which allows him to execute a secret project. When Sophia comes into the Coffee Loft for the first time, she is sold on the coffee and intrigued by Jake's secret project.

This Coffee Loft is special. It has a community wishing wall...and those wishes have an uncanny way of coming true. When Sophia discovers Jake's identity as the wishing wall mastermind, she gets in on the action as well. What is initially a story for her tv station becomes so much more as she and Jake work together to grant wishes and grow the idea.

Jake and Sophia are the cutest together. Their chemistry isn't a sizzling off the page kind, but a subtle, powerful kind, enhanced by their partnership and doing good together. It takes them a bit to get to the HEA, but it is worth it! The ending left me with a giant smile on my face as I closed my book.

This story is the fifth one to release in the multi-author book series for the Coffee Loft Fall collection. Each one can be read as a stand-alone, in any order & all feature a different Coffee Loft location.

I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable story! It's actually one of my favorites for so many reasons. I was so thrilled to find out that the Coffee Loft location in this particular story played a significant role as the backdrop for two people to meet, become partners in community wide endeavors, become friends & eventually much much more!

Sophia Martinez is a reporter who happens to land a story about a male barista at the local Coffee Loft shop who is making a huge difference in the lives of its patrons by doing more than just making fabulous tasting gourmet coffees. Jake Harrison put up what he calls a Wishing Wall in the coffee shop so that he might secretly fulfill a few anonymous wishes to give back to his community.

This was such a great concept that I had never read about before & it was such a fun & heartwarming one. What starts out as a small pay-it-forward concept by one man, ends up garnering phenomenal community wide support to form a continuous ongoing movement. I read this one cover to cover the same day not wanting it to end. But never fear...there's also a BONUS epilogue that you can download as well with a sweet wrap up to a beautiful story!

This was my first book from this author & it definitely will not be my last! Absolutely love & recommend this one.

Twinkle, twinkle little star. Leave a wish at the Wishing Wall at the coffee bar. The whole premise of this story was lovely and engaging. It will restore your faith in humanity. It gives new meaning to paying it forward.

Jake is a barista at The Coffee Loft who has a passion for helping others. He comes up with the Wishing Wall where people can write their wishes out and tack them to the board. When a local reporter, Sophia, hears about this wall, she decides to do a special interest story. She enjoys the feel good stories, and this one definitely has all of the feels. She goes in with intentions of writing a story and comes out excited to take the Wishing Wall to the next level. Her excitement was contagious to everyone around her.

This was an incredible story of community and answering the call when there was a need. Between lofty coffees and granting wishes, Jake and Sophia can't help but fall in love. As the chemistry between them intensifies, there are more questions raised as to whether they are the perfect fit for one another. Sophia has ambitious goals of making the big time, while Jake is content right where he is at.

This is another smash hit from The Coffee Loft Fall Collection. The references to the the fall flavors of coffee and fall festivals make this a perfect time of the year to read it.

Beanful Wishes by Susanne Ash is another cute and sweet addition in the cozy Coffee Loft (Fall edition) romance series. A Wishing Wall in a Coffee Loft Shop is a wall where customers can leave a wish on a card and sometimes they come true due to an anonymous person. We know this is thanks to barista Jake. When news reporter Sophia learns about this, she convinces Jake to let her make any wish he chooses come true and let her film it for a human interest story.

This book was such a joy to read. I loved the theme of wishes coming true, because we all have wishes. Jake just wanted to make people happy and he is very good at it. When Sophia stepped in he was a bit afraid she would take over, but they worked very well together. It was really sweet to read how the wish Jake chose was fulfilled and how he and Sophia got into a bit more than friendship. It was heartwarming to see everyone stepping in to help making wishes come true. And Sophia and Jake are cute working together.

Beanful Wishes was so easy to read, the writing style is really very nice and thanks to the plot you have a real cute and sweet story. It is a really engaging story, a book that makes you feel that the world can be a better place if you want it to be. I enjoyed reading this short book a lot, thanks to the heartwarming plot and story-line and the main characters.

Beanful Wishes is part of the Coffee Loft: Fall Collection. This is a multi-author series, with all books featuring a Coffee Loft shop, but all can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.

If you're looking for a book that not only has all the great fall vibes... but will also just have you walking away with a sense of encouragement and community--- this is it! This was truly such a heartwarming story. Jake has created this unique Wish Wall at the Coffee Loft shop where he works as a barista--- a place where people can leave their wishes so that he can bring them to life. What started as a small passion project catches the eye of Sophia--- a journalist sent to write a story about the wall. This takes the little project to even bigger heights--- and has sparks flying between the two as they work together. Truly, this was such a sweet romance between the two of them but also a really great story about community and the power of coming together too. Reading this one felt very much like curling up to a nice, warm drink--- just as a good fall read should. It was a quick read, but one that I very much enjoyed every minute of.

It’s where customers posted wishes of their deepest desires. It ranges from big to the smallest wishes. Hoping for magic to happen. Her mind goes in overdrive. This is a feel good story. Maybe she can help some how. Jake, the barista there was the one who thought it up. When he was young an unknown person did him a good deed and it helped him immensely. Now he is paying it forward. Between the smart, beautiful reporter and the handsome barista, can they make magic and miracles happen? They make a great team. They work well together. Their chemistry is off the charts. Can they succeed? Can they turn their partnership from work to a personal one too? Neither are looking for a relationship. One never knows when that special person shows up. Will they see what is right in front of them? I was rooting for this couple and wanting the Wish Wall to be successful. Worth the read. I loved it. Quick and easy read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

Oh my gosh this is such a sweet inspiring story that you definitely won't put down and don't want to miss reading. Sophia is an up and coming reporter, she loves her job and enjoys meeting new people and reporting important issues to the community. Jake is a barista at the coffee loft, he's worked there six months and loves getting to know the regulars and taking notice of everything around him. When he started the Wish Wall he never thought how much it would draw people in. Now with the help of the other barista's he picks wishes and tries to help fulfill them. When a beautiful reporter asks to film and showcase the wall he's apprehensive, because he enjoys the anominity he has now. Bringing reporters and the such just might backfire and spoil the charm the wall brings. Can these two help each other and the community or will it prove to much. I loved everything about this story andvthe Wish Wall is a perfect community project. It shows just how much help something so simple can be when everyone pulls together. Make sure to add this to your tbr list you won't regret it ❤️📖☕️❤️

This was a sweet story. It's novella in length, so I don't want to give too much away. But I liked this story. It was a sweet inspirational romance, and I loved the setting of the Coffee Loft and it being in NC.

Sophia is sent to investigate the Wishing Wall at the coffee Loft and finds herself wanting to help Jake ( the creator of the wall) with granting the wishes. They work well as a team and they start to feel there could be more to their partnership. But what happens when the buzz behind the granted wishes offers Sophia opportunities that could take her away from the Coffee Loft and away from Jake?

I think what I liked the most about the story was concept of the wishing wall and the story behind it. I think it's the sweetest idea.

For me, the story was a 3.5 , rounded to a 4 because I felt the romance wasn't pulling me in as much as I liked. And it felt like a bit of a slow burn, with the conflict coming so late in the story. That said, I liked the ending and how it all wrapped up. And I would recommend it to others to read.

Reporter Sophia Martinez knows a good story when she sees one, and she believes that the Wilmington Coffee Loft’s Wishing Wall could be a great story, especially after meeting its coordinator. Barista Jake Harrison is attracted to Sophia from the first time they meet, but he's protective of the Wishing Wall and its recipients. Once he takes the chance of trusting her with telling the story of the Wall, will he be able to trust her with being part of more of his life?
Author Susanne Ash does so well at showing the main characters' initial attraction, emotions, banter, and the all important swoon-y dialogue. As I read, I cheered for what Jake and Sophia wanted to accomplish for others and then for their relationship. I even found myself dreaming with them. What would it be like if our community had that kind of project? (I don't want to spoil any fun details of the story.)

Is a sweet friends to lovers, inspiring coffee shop romance with no cliffhanger.
Some of the lines I really like ---- making the world a better place. One cup of coffee and one wish at a time. ---- “When I was a young teen, someone gave me a helping hand when I needed it most. It changed my life. I’ve always wanted to pay that forward, to create a space where people could help each other, even if they didn’t know each other personally.” ---- Keep moving forward. Someone cares.” ---- "Life's too short to waste time wondering 'what if'." ---- "Just last week, a little boy tried to convince me that his dog ate his library card." --------
Is the "Wishing Wall" real? Will Sophia take the job offer in New York? These and other questions will all be answered.
I loved Sophia and Jake's story and I'm sure you will too. This is a new author for me and I'll definitely be reading more of her books.

Susanne Ash did an amazing job writing this story. I'm so glad she joined the other authors in this fall series. This is such an uplifting story and my heart was busting open. We need stories like this right now where people are helping one another and giving back. Jake is a barista at the Coffee Loft who starts a Wishing Wall. You place a wish on the wall he makes it come true. One day Sophia who is a news report is sent there to do a story and that's when things become magical! Jake and Sophia together make this story absolutely beautiful. Not only their attraction to each other but how they help their community. If you want a book that will pull at your heartstrings and have you smiling so much please read this book. I know I'll be thinking about this one for awhile. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

This addition to the Coffee Loft series and just want everyone needs to read. This is a very sweet inspiring story. I absolutely love Jake and Sophia. These two are so completely lovable and cute together. I absolutely love the chemistry between them and how is so well written.
Jake has come up with a great project The Wishing Well. He puts it up at the Coffee loft and things take off from there. He does amazing things with the project, and you can easily see that this is something he loves doing.
Sophia is a very hardworking up and coming reporter. She immediately takes an interest in the Wishing Well and works alongside Jake to make the wishes come true. But along the way she realizes that there is so much more to Jake.
This was a very sweet swoon worthy storyline with two characters you can't help but fall in love with.

This book restored my faith in humanity! Jake has to be the sweetest, most generous MMC I've read in ages. I found myself tearing up on several occasions with his kindness.

This book is part of the multi-author Coffee Loft series, but each book can be read as a standalone. Jake is the barista at a busy Coffee Loft franchise in North Carolina. He has implemented a "wishing wall" where the locals put wishes on the corkboard and, miraculously, they come true. Jake spends his spare time granting the wishes...and he caught the attention of reporter Sophia. She thinks this would be a great story. And she is so excited to help grant the wishes.

The two begin working closely together and fight the growing attraction they feel. Will their fondest wish of love be granted?

I appreciate how the author developed the story & the romance between Jake & Sophia. Their feelings for each other developed in a realistic time frame but it wasn't drawn out or delayed in sharing their feelings. The community outreach story line makes this book so much more than a sweet romance & adds to the charm of the book. Don't miss the bonus Epilogue!

Beanful Wishes by Susanne Ash is part of the Coffee Loft series and is a heartwarming, uplifting and inspiring story of giving back to others.

Jake is the barista at The Coffee Loft in Wilmington when he gets inspired to create a wishing wall to help give back to his community. One day a reporter named Sophia walks in and captures his attention, they bond over the wishing wall and start collaborating on fulfilling wishes.

This sweet story is filled with examples of things that this couple selflessly do for their community. The MC’s are so lovable and the story is good from beginning to end, very touching and brought tears to my eyes a few times.

I definitely recommend this inspiring sweet kisses romance with a HEA.

A sweet story to enjoy
This is a story of finding love when you are not looking for it. Sophia is a reporter for a local news station, visiting the new Coffee Loft in town introduces her to the Wish Board. A board where wishes are posted and wishes are granted. Sensing a story, Sophia approaches her boss to get permission to investigate. Jake, a barista at the Coffee Loft, is the power behind the Wish Board. Hoping to grow community involvement he watches, reads, and facilitates the granting of the wishes. When Sophia learns of his vision, she soon finds herself also involved not just for the story but for the good it does. Slowly their relationship grows along with challenges they will need to face. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

This is an inspirational story because of the sense of community and involvement of people who care about one another. I was impressed with the wishing wall. What a great way to better yourself and the lives around you by giving and caring of simple gestures. As far as the storyline goes, I did not feel a connection to the main characters. They were ok, but no spark. Other than they were doing good for other people, it was just kind of bland. It was a short read and I did enjoy the message behind the story, for that reason I gave it 3 1/2 stars. I appreciate that it’s a clean romance and no swearing.

I love Sophia and Jake. Their story was honest and true to the mission from the start. Jake works at a Coffee Loft store and has started a Wishing Wall there to make local citizens wishes come true. Sophia is the reporter who is seeing what the wall is exactly about. The two of them like each other instantly and I found myself rooting for them. Sometimes a writer can pull you in and make you feel a part of the story, that happened to me with this book. I found myself rooting for them and hoping their declared love for one another was going to be enough. This sweet story was fun to read and realistic.

I really enjoyed this next book in the Coffee Loft series. I enjoyed Jake, the handsome barista who had a brilliant idea of how to bring his community together. He made The Wishing Wall which brought in a lot of new customers to the coffee shop as they added their wishes to the wall. I liked how a passionate reporter named Sophia wanted to be his accomplice and help him make some of the wishes come true. The story was fun,inspirational, and romantic which touched my heart. What a genuinely heartwarming story! Jake is a barista at the Coffee Loft and came up with the idea of the Wishing Wall where people post their wishes and the workers there do whatever they can to make those wishes come true. Sophia is a local reporter who meets Jake when she is writing a story on the wall and the magic behind it. Together, they expand upon the original idea, and a romance quickly blossoms between the two of them. I love the idea of the Wishing Wall and bringing the entire community together to help each other out. This is a fantastic book and I highly recommend!

This story is so sweet. Jake is not just a handsome barista at the Coffee Loft, he runs and manages the Wishing Wall, where members of the community anonymously post wishes and Jake works to grant them.
Enter Sophia, a curious report who is invested in the success of the Wishing Wall’s projects.
She and Jake begin a partnership working to grant wishes. Sparks fly. Come along as they learn how to balance their relationship with their responsibilities.

Beanful Wishes is book #5 in the fall season of the multi-author Coffee Loft series. This story is the absolute sweetest and since it's set in Wilmington, NC, I knew that I would just love it!

Jake is a barista at the Coffee Loft and he has set up in the shop a wishing wall. Customer write their wishes on the wall and he tries to make sure that the wishes come true. Sophia is a news reporter sent to the shop to see what the wishing wall is about and meets Jake. They just make the cutest couple.

This story is the sweetest one ever and I loved everything about it!
