Sean O’Rourke attends the funeral of one of his college professors & there he meets Nicolina. There’s instant attraction & although they live in different areas they keep in touch by text & then meet. Yet again the author knocks it out of the ball park. I loved both Sean & Lina, oh boy their chemistry was off the scale but what started out as insta lust quickly deepened. The start of the book was very much boy meets girl with no baggage being shared, in fact they didn’t learn each others surnames for quite a while, which added a light heartedness as the reader knows who they are but they’re in the dark. The story does get darker but through all the trials & tribulations their love & support for each other shines through as well as the lengths they will go to, to protect each other. A very well written, steamy, engrossing, riveting read. It’s not a short book at over four hundred pages but those pages flew by

I really enjoyed this book, not only for the love story but also for the dynamic, the banter, and the relationships between the characters. I also really enjoyed the progression of Sean and Lina’s relationship. I loved the nicknames. I’m not usually a fan of insta-love but for some reason their start sparked my heart a little bit and I enjoyed it. I also just genuinely enjoyed the background story going on around their relationship.

MOB PRINCESS by Sabine Barclay, The O’Rourke Brotherhood, book 3

Nicolina “Lina” Tremblay is not just any Mob Princess but a force of nature as Sean O’Rourke and others soon discovered. MOB PRINCESS is a well-written, suspenseful, and intriguing romance full of emotion and incendiary chemistry between Lina and Sean. Woo! Can’t wait for Sabine Barclay’s next book!

The Irish Mob—Divided

I loved the instant soul connection between Sean and Niki. They are determined to stay together no matter what is thrown at them and there is a lot. I wasn’t that thrilled with the violence in Niki. The intrigue is mind-blowing wondering who is really behind some bewildering actions. The passion is high and includes some BDSM.

This is book three in the O'Rourke series. While at times it dragged and was difficult to push through, other times it moved at the same fast pace as the previous two. This didn't seem to bring out the romantic side as the prior two, but I kept wondering if maybe Sean wasn't as romantic as his cousin and brother. This is a darker story than the prior two in the series so be prepared.

This is Sean and Nicolina's story. Nicolina is more involved in the family business so she's darker and tougher in that respect than the prior two female leads. While the author tried to show Sean's protective side as she did with his brother and cousin, Nicolina refused to allow much more than a glimpse. It came out more of possessiveness and at times a bit overly much because it didn't show. This is a darker look into the world of the O'Rourke's. Even though the previous leads were strong and determined women who could stand on their own, Nicolina's involvement in the business brought the darkness to the front. While the other two had professions outside of the family and the reader could see the normal interactions and reactions - Nicolina's job never allowed the light to truly shine in. Sean's statement about the sun towards the end was made all that more ironic considering the darkness that kept weighing over the storyline. That's probably why I had difficulty at times as seeing them lasting vs simply being a flash. There's no real interaction outside of the business.

The author did a wonderful job showing the true darkness of the life and the violence. Nicolina's actions showed how even a woman can be part of the life. I wish the author would have been able to show her in the same light as Sean's mom. While I could see all the women - if push came to shove, acting the same, there was very little light regarding Nicolina. Mainly because of how she was conceived and raised. She was more a 24-hour mad Annastasia (Bratva Treasure) which is over much. The one issue I had with this was the O'Rourke's who protect their women above all else and keep them from the darkness as much as possible, calmly accepted her involvement.

Captivating, beautiful, and introspective, Mob Princess is a breathtaking addition to Sabine Barclay’s O’Rourke Brotherhood series. When the stunning Nicolina falls into the safety of Sean O’Rourke’s arms at a fellow Georgetown professor’s funeral, the two are instantly attracted to each other. They pursue a sweet “pen-pals” relationship via text hoping to begin a serious relationship with each other. But as they each fulfill respective family obligations, a shocking revelation threatens to kill not only their romantic aspirations, but the lovers themselves. As truths are unveiled, and painful tragedies occur, it becomes crystal clear that one should never assume another is less capable. Looks are always deceiving.

Packed with twists and turns, Barclay’s adept writing ability continues to shine in clear, sharp detail in every action scene. Readers will be thrilled and entertained from the very start with Sean and Nicolina’s story. Dare it be said, Book 3 was even more exciting and heart-pounding than Mob Star (Book 2), although they are both excellently developed and superbly written.

Mob Princess infuses descriptions and information on the syndicate families that aid new readers to understand the brotherhood dynamics so that each of the books can truly be read as stand-alone novels themselves. Receive this as a recommendation to read the series in order to thoroughly enjoy the thrill of discovery from book to book as the brothers find love while confronting the dangers that come with running a billion-dollar mob empire. You will be glad you did!

"Mob Princess," like the two previous books in the "O'Rourke Brotherhood" series, is a sophisticated rendition of instalove in the Irish Mob of NY. Sean O'Rourke and Nicolina aka Lina O'Malley/Tremblay accidentally meet at the funeral of a college professor they both once had, although they were not in the same class year. They get acquainted through texting and eventually learn who each other are....members of rival mob families. Since their immediate connection was so strong, they don't let that stop them from furthering their relationship, which leads to violent family clashes and explosive romantic encounters.

It's an excellent story, but be prepared for some unique aspects that you might not find in other criminal romances. I like to be able to picture the characters in my mind, and I had a very difficult time trying to reconcile the physical description of Lina with Sean. All the O'Rourke sons, brothers, uncles and cousins are big, muscled hunks, and the wives that have been introduced so far in this series are attractive and curvy without being fluffy. Lina is just the opposite in body type, and for me it just didn't fit. But as long as Sean was happy with her, that's all that mattered.

The drama, conflicts and resolutions were typical of this genre and highly worthy of a dark gray romance; however, if you have a trigger for physical cruelty, you may want to skip a rather black section toward the end. Although if cruelty is your thing, you will surely enjoy it. I didn't.

Mob Princess is the 3rd story of “The O’Rourke Brotherhood” the newest series by Sabine Barclay that is set in her Dark Mafia world. This story follows Sean O’Rourke and his Cailin Nicolina Tremblay. Theirs is a case of what some might consider love at first sight.
I really enjoyed this book, not only for the love story but also for the family dynamic. Sabine always seems to include great family dynamics in her books but I especially enjoyed the dynamic between Sean and his twin brother Shane. There were definitely a few moments sprinkled throughout the book between the family that had an emotional impact. The relationship between Sean and Lina was also full of surprises, and I really enjoyed their dynamic.
Mob princess can be read as a standalone novel however with this particular novel I would definitely recommend reading the previous books in the series as a lot of instances that occurred in the 2 previous books are referenced. Having that background would definitely provide for a more accurate understanding of events. Overall this was a great edition to the O’Rourke brotherhood series.

Mob Princess is the 3rd book in The O'Rourke Brotherhood series, it can be read as a stand alone issue but I recommend to read them in order due to particular situations that happen with each couple. This book is fast paced with lots of action, suspense, lies, betrayal, revenge and steamy scenes. If you like dark mafia romance with Insta love between opposites then don't hesitate to grab this goodie up!
TW: This book includes MULTIPLE open door sex scenes with BDSM, spanking, light bondage, sex toys, power exchange, breath play and heroes being called Daddy. These are not age play, DDLG, or infantilization stories, but they are kinky and explicit. There is also recurring profanity, including MULTIPLE uses of the f word.

Sean O'Rourke of New York meets Nicolina Tremblay in Boston and is instantly smitten. They don't know if they believe in love at first sight but they know they are in lust. However, certain people don't want them together and will go the distance, pull out all the stops to keep this princess to themselves.

This is the third book in the O'Rourke series. It had some slow parts, but overall, it moved along like the previous two books. Unlike the others, this one focuses less on romance, which made me wonder if Sean wasn't as charming as his cousin and brother. It explores darker themes, so be prepared for that.

The story follows Sean and Nicolina. Nicolina is deeply involved in the family business and is tougher and darker than previous female leads. While Sean tries to protect her, Nicolina's independence often takes center stage, sometimes seeming a bit possessive. The book gives a gritty look into the O'Rourke world, especially with Nicolina's important role.

It shows the harsh realities and violence they face, portraying Nicolina as actively involved in the criminal world. Despite traditions of protecting women from this darkness, Nicolina's acceptance into it adds an interesting twist. However, I wish Nicolina's character had more depth and lightness, like Sean's mother.

Overall, I liked the book for its relationships and engaging story. Sean and Lina's relationship development was enjoyable and added depth to the O'Rourke Brotherhood series.

Part of The O’Rourke Brotherhood series each reads as standalone with an overprotective sexy and the one who captures his undivided attention so hang on you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way! Sean sexy as all get out youngest O’Rourke brother although, being the youngest doesn’t mean he isn’t just as dangerous, ruthless, or deadly every day like his older brothers and while attending a funeral of a college professor he meets the most beautiful women making sure to get her contact information. Lina is sweet attending a funeral where she meets this sexy guy at the funeral an immediate attractions the magnetic pull is there from the moment they meet, their communication via text/calls only makes the pull stronger between them will she be accepted by the O’Rourke family, will her family accept him, and can they find something more along the way like happiness?

Mob Princess is the third book in the O’Rourke Brotherhood series and while it can be enjoyed on a stand-alone basis it would be even more enriched by having read the first two. I strongly recommend that you do. Having said that, when making your plan to read this story don’t think you can just sit down an hour or two before bed time and get it finished in time. This is a full length, deliciously detailed story of suspense, action (sometimes extremely violently so), sensuality and graphically erotic sex, all within a beautiful romance. There is just so much in the book that almost anything I discuss in this review is likely to end up being an unfortunate spoiler. Suffice to say it is a great story, a violent rendition of mob/mafia/Bratva/cartel interactions, with fabulous family dynamics, and a lusty relationship between Sean O’Rourke and Nicolina. Absolutely everything that you could expect, want, or imagine in a Sabine Barclay book that will leave you absolutely salivating for the next book in the series… Mob Saint. It can’t come soon enough. 5 Sensational Stars

Mob Princess is book 3 of The O’Rourke Brotherhood series, which follows the story of Sean O’Rourke and his Cailin Nicolina Tremblay. Mob Princess is an amazing book, I love how this story brings in characters from previous ones. The story is well written, had great characters who are strong and quite interesting. You get a bit of everything in this book. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. Author Sabine Barclay has created two amazing characters that will keep readers riveted to the pages. The dialogue is quite easy to read and provides context as to who the characters are. Readers, I would highly suggest checking this book out and giving it a read.

Sean is the baby of his family and is full of surprises. Like all the syndicates’ men, he falls hard and fast for his true love and will do absolutely anything to protect her. I like his no nonsense personality and how wicked he can be. Lina is a true Montrealer: sweet when she needs to be, but stubborn and even harsh when she needs to. She sure gives a run to Sean for his money. I love how this story is steamy with a complex background. You always end up being surprised by not expecting what happens next or who’s doing what: sure is hard to put this book down to do something else!.

Another O’Rourke meets his match…

Readers need to get ready for a fast paced story set in the world of the Irish Mob. There is plenty of danger and also plenty of family, but nothing is ever completely clear when it comes to money, respect and revenge. So many family, friends and associates between both our hero and heroine, but since things aren’t always as they seem, readers will continually have to wonder who can be trusted and who has an ulterior motive. Another story to keep fans on the edge of their seats, and more people to love in this fantastic series!

I love reading Sabine Barclay’s mafia stories and this series just makes me want to be a part of the family. Sean and Lina are each other’s soul, their One. The emotional connection between them is as visceral as their sexual attraction is palpable. I love the ferocity, the energy, and the absolute strength of their commitment to each other. They protect each other, Lina has an innate understanding of him and his responsibility, and he recognizes her worth and individuality. I’m looking forward to more of the O’Rourke men and the fascinating women in their lives!!.

Mob Princess is a dynamic and gripping dark tale of romantic suspense. Sean and Lina each have their own complex pasts—their characters are fascinating and it is so fun to watch them interact with each other and the other people in their lives. The plot provides several great twists and turns; I was so engrossed I couldn’t put this one down.

Sabine Barclay is one of my favorite writers. I know when I pick up one of her books I’m going to get complexity, action, suspense, drama, intensity, deep emotions, and so much more. This book provides all of those and then some. I absolutely loved it!

She hates that term, but he makes it true!!
I love this world! I love the connection I feel with each of the characters as the stories continue. I reflect back to the other families and their stories and hate when something happens to them, but love all the intrigue at the same time.
The lifestyle seems to increase with each couple and it’s so interesting to see how each one of them lives it.
On the smoking hot factor…10/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
So much I could say, but these stories are everything!!!!! It amazes me how Sabine makes me fall in love with each couple in every family.

I love the O’Rourke men aņd this is a great addition to the O’Rourke Brotherhood. I loved Lina and Sean and the instant connection they felt for each other but things get worse before they have their happy ending. The story is fast paced, full of action, danger, and very entertaining. It captured my attention and kept it to the end. The writing is excellent and very descriptive about the activities unfolding in front of me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and would highly recommend it as a great read.

Mob Princess by Sabine Barclay is the third novel in The O’Rourke Brotherhood series, and it is a standout! Ms. Barclay’s novels contain amazing action, loads of danger and intrigue, and are known for their non-stop heat and sizzle, and Mob Princess is no exception. Ms. Barclay knows how to craft a very dark Mafia romance novel that will keep the reader on the edge of her seat and up all-night reading, and that is just what I did when I opened the first page of Mob Princess. This is a MUST PURCHASE novel that will remain on my bookshelves for repeated reading, it is that GOOD!

I absolutely loved this book! Meeting in an unlikely place puts Sean and Lina in each others life. It’s not long after their relationship begins. The chemistry, secrets, lies, and lots of danger make this book a page turner. From the very beginning to the very end, you get pulled in every direction. Once Sean has Lina in his life, it seems he will do anything and everything he can to make sure Lina is not only safe, but protected. Will he be able to so? Will they stay together in the end? Wait til you find out!

Sean and Nicolina's romance starts out slowly as they get to know basics about each other. But once they realize they are both driven by family, they are all in on seeing where the relationship goes. Nicolina may defer to Sean in some things, but I loved how fierce and protective she became. Her loyalty never wavered when it could have become an issue. As with other Barclay books, I like how the family is always so supportive of one another. In this instance, Nicolina's strength, intelligence and moxie made Mob Princess a 5 star read.

If I had to describe this book it would be "intense". The chemistry is intense, the danger is intense, the story is intense. One of the things I liked most about this book was Nicolina. This book is part of an inter-connected series, so characters from other books are present. However, Nicolina is completely different from all the other FMCs. That is the brilliance (one of many) of this series. No character is a copy of another - they are all unique (even the twins) and you never know what to expect.

"Mob Princess" is another great installment in The O'Rourke Brotherhood. This is Seans story and it is hot, steamy, and a bit darker than the previous books. I loved this book and am enjoying getting to see the other side of the O'Rourke's. There is a lot of action in this book and some unexpected surprises. Every time I pick up one of Sabine Barclays books, I easily get lost in this world she has created. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I have absolutely loved the O'Rourke brotherhood series so far, but with this book, it gets even better. I really liked the intensity of Mob Princess, Sean and Nicolina have an instant connection, insta love if you will, but it gets much deeper than that. This book does have a darkness to it, but Sean and Nicolina are strong enough to make it through because they support each other. Steamy and well written book, I can not wait for Mob Saint.

This is Sean’s chance at more than just a sub dynamic … the men and his family all have that in common.

When they find the one it is chemistry and more. Unfortunately for Sean Lina has secrets of her own …

Fearless and firm .. she knows when he needs her to bend but she only goes so far.

Family drama
Mob/bratva/mafia mess as usual
A bit of OW drama but you will like how she handles it ..

A growing family with women as fearless as the men.

OH WOW!!!! It was a page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Nicolina the Mob Princess and Sean was intwined with passion and emotion based on his family relationship might be in that moment. Was they falling in with each other or was she just a brat? Will there be more drama heading their way within their relationship. It was a magical love and hate romance that was complicated and emotional of fireworks. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones

In book 3, we get Sean and Cailin's story. I loved it from the first page. The story was wonderful as I love how Ms. Barclay has a lot of the family dynamics woven into each story. Makes it so much better. And even though you can read this as a standalone, I promise it will be better if you read the first and second books. Characters come and go throughout all the books so you'll know who everyone is! Great story and I can't wait for more!
