The only thing that truly changes the trajectory of any of our lives is realizing the magnitude of what happened on the Cross.

The first person who officially acknowledged the deity of Jesus by referring to Him as the Son of God wasn't one of the disciples or someone He healed, it was the Roman military officer who presided over His crucifixion. That centurion never got to watch our Redeemer heal a leper or walk on water. The only thing he watched Jesus do was die. We're the only ones who place our hope in a deity who's so radically compassionate, He was willing to die so that we could live. Many of us live knowing a lot but living a bit like we don't know much at all. The difference between performance and devotion is rarely defined by outward behavior. The only thing that truly changes the trajectory of any of our lives is realizing the magnitude of what happened on the Cross. We can all relate to the lengths we go to for those we love. And our Redeemer went to lengths that leave us in awestruck gratitude. That's what this study is about. Taking the time to remember the reality and result of our unconditional transformative redemption! When your heart becomes more cognizant of what took place on that old, rugged cross everything changes.

I read this Bible Study over the course of 5 weeks with a group of women at church. We started reading it the week after Easter. We all really enjoyed the videos and Bible study. It was easy to follow yet also gave us information to digest and apply. This is a good study for anytime of the year. With gained knowledge I look forward to Easter 2026 when I can be more intentional with my increased awareness and understanding. I gave my life to Jesus at a very young age... I am forever grateful for the new ways and depths that God reveals Himself.

Wow! At first I wasn’t so sure I was going to love this Bible study, as it wasn’t lengthy so I wondered how in depth it could really be. Was I fooled! I loved watching the introductory videos by Lisa Harper and Christine Caine. They prepared amazing follow up lessons that had me digging deeper into scripture than any other study thus far. I would recommend this study’s to anyone who is preparing for the Easter season.

I absolutely love Lisa and Christine and put them together and you get laughs, tears and a whole lotta Jesus. This was a beautiful study leading up to the Easter season. The first two weeks a look back at the Old Testament and the last two weeks being the crucifixion and the resurrection. You could do this study anytime through the year but it’s a great pause and reflect for the most important day in Christian history the resurrection!

A beautiful study about the Easter story of the Lord! A different angle than I have read it before. Chris & Lisa did a fabulous job bringing life to this story. A great study to do alone, but would encourage others to look for at least one partner to go through it with. My daughter & I did this study together & really dove in deep with discussions prompted within the book & beyond.
