I enjoyed reading this book. James E Faust demonstrates clearly what a Godly man he is and teaches us all by example how he follows the Savior and how we should too.

Helpful to me at this time. I'm likely to come back to this work and read my notes I left again someday. Also could be useful in giving talks in church or lessons.

I finished this book right before church today. I found it amazing that the story about the currant bush and Elder Hugh B Brown was the same story that we would be talking about in my Sunday School class. A coincidence? I think not. You can find the short (3:02 minutes) video at lds.org "The Will of God" or on youtube.com "God is the Gardner" (5:11 minutes). Excellent video to go along with the story.

It's a quick read. Some parts made me cry when it shows how much people suffer but still live happy, positive lives. I didn't know how Spencer W. Kimball had suffered so much, being compared to Job.

I read this a chapter or two at a time over quite some time - it was a great way to end a long day or any other time I wanted to feel uplifted.

While there were sections I enjoyed more than others, and chapters that were more or less personal, overall it was a great collection.
