A tour de force. Read it and you'll never again inject this poisonous shit into your body. Or blindly accept medical cartel pronouncements as truth without a deep dive into the evidence, after which you'll clearly see the propaganda and gaslighting on breathtaking display.
If you are looking for a book on the history of medicine's failures and progress, this is exceptionally well researched with a vast array of primary source quotes. It makes it clear how deplorable sanitation prior to the modern era was. That said, I feel it would have made the progress of vaccines (or lack thereof depending on how you read it) more clear if it was told as a more chronological tale. Some pages took sources spanning a century to make the point, which though fascinating, makes it difficult to create a clear picture of how the technology developed and where it is now. I'm left with a lot of questions that will require further research and discussion. That could be looked at as the point of the book: to make you think and not just accept what is standard practice.
Incredible book. How fooled we have been by “authorities” to view the act of inoculating a perfectly healthy body of a baby or an adult with viruses, toxins, and poisons as normal. They have lied to us about what really eradicated diseases and propagandized us since the early 1800s with the same “vaccines are safe and effective” BS.

-Over the years, we’ve been taught of how the vaccines that have been created have saved countless lives and have close to eliminated diseases which have killed so many in the past. When there was a recent measles outbreak in Texas, it was attributed to the unvaccinated, and Robert F Kennedy, Jr., had measles vaccines sent to the area to help deal with the outbreak. But after being given so much false information when it came to SARS Covid 19 by the authorities, many people have now been more open to question the claims being made of all medications. The FDA approvals of child vaccines which have never been placebo tested; the autism epidemic which has arisen in lockstep with the particular vaccines given to children; and the rise in allergies to particular foods which is a relatively recent phenomenon are cause to question if the medications we are being given have actually caused the near elimination of so many diseases.
-This question was reviewed in a book that first came out in 2013, entitled “Dissolving Illusions”, and it reveals information that destroys our perception of the vaccine as the Holy Grail of medicine. The book has been updated recently, and methodically reviews medical treatments of the past, and how vaccines came into use with the belief that they would eradicate disease.
-We’ve been taught that it was only due to vaccines that diseases of the past have been drastically reduced, and a look into the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries show a great number of people succumbing to various diseases. To get a more accurate understanding of history, the authors highlight some of the conditions in which the prevalence of disease was high, and it was during the period when the populace converged into the cities for work, but ended up living in squalid conditions. In a quote from Roy Porter, The Greatest Benefit to Mankind, the conditions are described as “foul housing, often in flooded cellars, gross overcrowding, atmospheric and water-supply pollution, overflowing cesspools, contaminated pumps, poverty, hunger, fatigue and objection everywhere… bred rampant sickness of every kind. Appalling neonatal, infant and child mortality accompanied the abomination of child labour in mines and factories”. There’s no question as to why there was such a high rate of death by disease during that time period.
-To add to that horror, we find that doctors were prescribing medications such as calomel, which is a mercury based substance used for constipation, syphilis, smallpox, influenza and more; arsenic - which was used for fevers, skin diseases and mental disorders; bloodletting, which was done to excess. When reading of the description of the efforts by doctors to attend to George Washington, you realize that his death was caused by the doctors as they bled him and released about 40 percent of his blood. He also received ten grains of calomel and five or six grains of emetic tartar. This was an example of the highest level medical treatment that would be given to those who were ill of that time period.
-Oddly, before vaccines were given en masse to the population, by the mid 20th century, all the major diseases had death rates plummeting to about 1% of what they had been in the 1800’s. All the medical records support this, so why were we led to believe that it was due to vaccines that these diseases have been nearly wiped out?
-We must start with the first vaccine, which was for smallpox. In 1722, Isaac Massey observed in Christ’s Hospital that “a natural simple smallpox seldom kills, unless under very ill management”. Years later, “John Birch, a distinguished member of the Royal College of Surgeons, expressed his belief in 1814 that a significant number of smallpox fatalities were, in fact, attributable to poor diet, unclean environment, and medical error.” In 1796, doctors recorded that one in five deaths in London were from smallpox, but they didn’t account for the deaths caused by living conditions, hard working conditions of children, deadly medications like calomel, and the grouping together of multiple diseases under the umbrella of smallpox.
-Enter Edward Jenner who had heard of a rumor from milkmaids that being exposed to cowpox would protect one from smallpox. He ran an experiment in 1796 with one child, and based on that, he declared that cowpox would give a person lifelong immunity from smallpox. It’s not mentioned that the young boy later came down with consumption and died, nor is it common knowledge that Jenner experimented on his own son, who also died. So news of the possible cure by something as simple as administering cowpox, took hold on the public and the medical establishment and became an unshakable idea of the time. Doctors lined up to inoculate the public and it became the rage. Problems began appearing within a short period of time and reports submitted by dozens of doctors cited by the authors, disputed those early claims.
-In 1818, Dr. Thomas Brown, a surgeon with a firm belief in vaccines, had vaccinated 1,200, and saw that many still contracted smallpox and died. He wrote an article in a medical journal in 1819 “The accounts from all quarters of the world, wherever vaccination has been introduced… the cases of failures are now increased to an alarming proportion… nearly the whole of such cases (all those who were vaccinated) will yield to the influence of the smallpox contagion”.
-Another doctor, Charles Maclean wrote of the shortcomings in 1810 of the vaccination practice with references and cited “a staggering 535 cases of smallpox emerging after cowpox vaccination”. He further wrote “Very few deaths from cow-pox appear in the Bills of Mortality, owing to the means which have been used to suppress knowledge of them. Neither were deaths, diseases and failures transmitted in great abundance from the country, not because they did not happen, but because some practitioners were interested in not seeing them, and others who did see were afraid of announcing what they knew.”
-Dr. Montague Leverson “had been taught… in medical schools that vaccination was protection against smallpox and a harmless operation. In January 1894 he encountered a case that encouraged him to conduct an intensive study on vaccination. At the end of his studies, he had to conclude that: “There has never been the smallest evidence deserving the attention of a rational being, that vaccination does prevent or ever prevented an attack of small pox, except by killing the patient before small pox reached him.” -The authors of Dissolving Illusions now comment “Surgeons and doctors were well paid to perform vaccination and embraced it as a new form of income. It is, therefore, quite significant that so many doctors wrote to medical journals about their experiences. However, just like today, the believers ignored the voices of the medical dissenters, which led to ordinary people speaking out in the lay media”.
-Dr. Charles Crieghton, distinguished professor of the University of Cambridge, echoed that statement much earlier as, in 1884, he was asked to author an article on vaccination for a medical journal. Rather than repeat what was in the literature, he decided to research the subject on his own which led him to the realization that vaccination was a “grotesque superstition”. He concluded “The refusal of the professional leaders to go back upon their mistake, when it was abundantly proved to be a mistake, has become an inherited obligation of hard swearing to successive generations.”
-“In 1840, as doctors and citizens realized that vaccination was not what it was promised to be, vaccine refusals increased. Governments passed various laws to force people to be vaccinated. Vaccination was made compulsory in England in 1853.”
-Further proofs of the uselessness of vaccination was coming out of multiple countries, and became glaring, but again it was ignored. In the U.S., “By the end of 1868, more than 95% of the inhabitants of Chicago were vaccinated. … Chicago was hit with a devastating smallpox epidemic in 1872.” “Official returns from Germany show that between 1870 and 1885 one million vaccinated persons died from smallpox” (see G.W.Harman report in a medical journal of 1900). In the hLancet of July 15, 1871 “Of 9,392 smallpox patients in London hospitals, 6,854 had been vaccinated. 17.5% of those attacked, died.”
-Rather than only relying on vaccinations that occurred in the earlier days of vaccination, we look to a 2008 study put out by the San Francisco Health Department on 7/29/2023, “Based on the US VAERS of recently vaccinated people, there was a rate of 26.4 deaths per 10,000 vaccines. Adverse events included the following: 33% cardiac, 25% non specific chest pain, 21% neurological, 14% infection, 3% malignancy, 3% pulmonary (noninfectious), and 1% normal vaccination response.”
-Following the 1853 law mandating vaccination in England, the town of Leicester finally rebelled in 1885. The mayor and those running the town, prompted by a mass demonstration by the townspeople, instituted a standard of not prosecuting anyone who refused a vaccine. Vaccination rates began to drop greatly and this now served as a comparison to see how well the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated would fare during bouts of disease. Along with dropping the mandate the town established a sanitary committee as it was already believed that sanitary conditions would greatly reduce the likelihood of any disease gaining a foothold. Someone with smallpox would report it immediately and he/she would be transferred to the hospital. Their home would be disinfected and the family members would be quarantined. “The result is that in every instance the disease has been promptly and completely stamped out at a paltry expense.” A smallpox outbreak in 1893 proved how much better the Leicester method was as “the well vaccinated district of Mold in Flintshire, England, had a death rate about 32 times higher than Leicester.” In 1948, Dr. C. Killik Millard, the health minister of Leicester, wrote “Vaccination has been steadily declining ever since the “conscience clause” was introduced, until now nearly two thirds of the children born are not vaccinated. Yet smallpox mortality has also declined until now quite negligible. In the fourteen years 1933-46 there were only 28 deaths in a population of some 40 million and among those 28 there was not a single death of an infant under 1 year of age.”
-Dr. Millard pushed the idea of sanitary conditions as a necessary accompaniment for good health early on. He wrote in 1914, “For forty years, corresponding roughly with the advent of the sanitary era, smallpox has gradually but steadily been leaving this country. … It is reasonable to believe that with the perfecting and more general adaptation of modern methods of control and with improved sanitation, smallpox will be completely banished from this country as has been the case with plague, cholera and typhus fever.”
-Despite the many failures of the smallpox vaccine, all data was ignored and hysteria took over. The question of whether mandates could be enforced was raised in the United States in a case brought before the US Supreme Court. In the case of Zeucht vs King “the US Supreme Court decided that states have the right to exert “police power” to enforce vaccination. The court stated that protection of “public health” overrode any consideration of personal choice or liberty.” Belief that the vaccine worked, rather than the proper scientific evaluation of hundreds of doctors and researchers which proved otherwise, took over and an assumption of the effectiveness of vaccines was no longer questioned.
-This belief carried on to the current time, despite proven remedies that carried no adverse side effects.
-The author goes into other vaccines, with similar ineffective results. For example, “in 1959, one third of paralytic polio cases were in those who had one or more doses of the Salk vaccine. Over 16% had 3 or more doses of he vaccine. “Herman Kleinman, MD, an epidemiologist from the Minnesota Department of Health, observed that in antibody studies on children who have received 3 or more doses of the Salk vaccine, more than half did not have antibodies to two of the three types of polio strains used in the Salk vaccine and 20 percent lack antibodies to a third type. He commented: “ This is a very disturbing fact. If polio antibodies mean anything in respect to protection, then I am forced to conclude that much of the Salk vaccine we have been using is useless.” Further, another doctor, Dr. Cox, found that “while the Salk vaccine produced antibodies against Type II poliovirus, it did poorly against the other two identified types. Type II only accounts for 3% of paralytic cases worldwide, effectively making the vaccine “useless”… Worse still, in a Massachusetts polio outbreak, there were more paralytic cases in the triple vaccinated than in the unvaccinated.
-What is most disturbing is that when Jonas Salk wrote a paper defending the actions of his vaccine, “he cut out data not to show what happened to some lots”. When the Salk vaccine had to reviewed for government approval, “each time somebody didn’t agree, they dropped them and got somebody who might agree. By the time they were done forming the (approval) committee, everybody on it was distinguished but very agreeable.” Vaccine induced paralysis was also occurring. It was reported in 1956 by Sven Gard in a published journal that “vaccination in the United States caused as many cases of poliomyelitis as it prevented in 1955.”
-Other vaccines did not fare any better, as they all exhibited failures similar to the vaccines cited above. Remedies with no side effects and which are readily available, have been shown to be effective against smallpox, measles, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, MRSA, etc., but these remedies, which the author listed and which have been proven to be highly effective, are ignored, in favor of the belief in vaccines.
-The authors quote the late President, John F Kennedy, who once remarked “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but they myth - persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion with the discomfort of thought.”
I didn’t need to read another convincing book as to why vaccines cause more harm than good, yet here I am. I heard SH on the Joe Rogan podcast and have heard her name several times through my research of Vs and what she was saying was completely different than the standard talking points around the subject. Her research goes back to the very beginning in the 1800s when basic hygiene and living conditions played a severe role in illness and infectious diseases and how they moved (or didn’t move) throughout society. In extreme detail, she explains how doctors during those times dealt with it and what they had to say about it. I was very intrigued during the story of the protests that amassed an astonishing 80,000+ people DURING THOSE TIMES and the outright defiance of parents who would rather be imprisoned than be mandated to vaccinate their child, especially after one of their children had already been killed by these vaccines prior to. Sounds rather familiar, right? I am thoroughly disgusted with the information she gave about infected cysts on cows and various other animals becoming a source of infection then modified and used to inject into children. She truly means it when she states that there is absolutely no ability to know what is in these vaccines, especially modern day ones. The whole bit on these cultures going from cow pus into the arm of a child then another child then another then back into a donkey then a child and back into the infected heels of a horse then so on and so on is absolutely DISTURBING to even wrap my mind around. You can hear all day long that “ingredients are bad” or “aborted fetal cell lines are used” which trust me, I’m very concerned with, but what she has presented is a whole new scope of disturbing details that I had never heard or even considered before. You can read the ingredients in the insert all you want but to get a play by play of what the ingredients actually mean and where they come from makes my stomach turn into knots at the thought of it being forcibly shot into the arms of innocent children. In my opinion, it’s the greatest travesty of all time. This book was enlightening as someone who considers herself well-versed on the topic. I have so much to say about this book and so many directions I could go with this review but I’d probably be here all day doing so. Read it!
"The fatal tendency of mankind to leave off thinking about a thing when it is no longer doubtful, is the cause of half their errors." -John Stuart Mill
This is a heavy read, but it's incredibly researched. What's even more wonderful is the authors are very aware you should debate their findings and discuss your knowledge. All they have done is an exhaustive gathering of data that should be more mainstream when debating vaccinations. Why? Because like the quote suggests, we leave the hard thinking to "experts" instead of investing in our own knowledge. I'm a 90's kid exposed to the 'If you don't know what it is, don't you put it in your mouth,' advertisements. Somehow, through life's chaos we relinquish the reins of our own health to trust qualified strangers who are fallible humans too. Questioning health practices is normal and when you get vilified for it, you should probably double down and find out why.
Very very important book, with one goal, opening up conversation about something even doctors aren't allowed to question, vaccination. Wild.
This book stands on its own; It is a masterpiece. It is complete in vaccine history and I believe it will stand the test of time. These authors provide incredible detail in infectious disease, sanitation, refrigeration, vaccine history. They present the problems of the past and current issues we are faced with today. The graphs in this book are substantial and back up the author’s claims This is a must read for every parent or soon to be parent.
I sought this book out in an effort to understand the position of those who are concerned about vaccines and their impacts. Instead of new information that might cause me to pause, I found fear-mongering opinions portrayed as science which is incredibly problematic.
A much needed reality check. The first 3/4 is somewhat dry, however at the same time waking up to how, once again we have been duped by big pharma, corporations and the state. The histories are there. Time to wake up. I love that she added the good foods to add, or have in your diet to keep you in good health to fight the diseases naturally. Thank you Suzanne!
Overall a great and educational book! It gave context for most vaccines and explored their history as well as the “lore” behind them. Highly recommend giving this one a read!
