As danger closes in, and her powers begin to manifest, so does the realization that Wolfgang, the very source of her anguish, might be her strongest ally. Together, they face a gauntlet of challenges that test not just their resilience, but the depth of their connection.
Can they move beyond their troubled past to secure a future for their pack, or will their flame be extinguished by the darkness encroaching upon their world?
Second book of the series that I read in two days and I appreciate that it picked up right at the cliffhanger of the 1st book. Easy and fun read but now Luna is the one that hates her mate. I wish they would have given us more of Luna and Alpha being in love. Good fun book (:
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SERIES! I've had alittle trouble find the sequels in correct order on Galatea but I think I've finally got it. The series was an emotional rollercoaster ride and I loved every minute of it. It is so exciting I felt jittery. At times I was crying and at times I was laughing. Aurora and Wolfgang have been through some horrifying times and together they are so strong. Poor Aurora goes though something very dark and heartbreaking you can't help but but cry but the love she receives from her pack and close friends is so heartwarming. Eleanor is kinda hard to take. At times you love her and at times I'm thinking, OH SHUT UP! Lol! But she is a necessity to Aurora, she'd be lost without her. Eventually you go to love her alittle. Lol. The love that flows off the pages between Wolfgang and Aurora, even though it took them quite awhile to get there. In book one I really hated Wolfgang for the way he treated Aurora. She goes through hell because of him and that witch Tallulah. I never wanted the series to end. I highly recommend this series to everyone.
I loved the sequel more. I really appreciated her trepidation. His attempt to “prove” his promise felt fair, but could’ve been even stronger on the severity of that denouncement.
To disavow his alphahood, I know from being a werewolf smut addict the impact, but it felt a tad downplayed.
