Angus and Tarion are genetic products of an isolated facility in the hopes of producing strong warriors, in their quest for such a desire they left no stone unturned including killing both of the two boys' siblings in their effort to have a true natural selection of the strongest.Both Angus and Tarion are only fourteen but are still reeling from their siblings loss. Angus is now stricken with extreme guilt that leeches into his life and actions. While Tarion now possesses psychotic urges he struggles to suppress.On what started as a normal day for them Angus and Tarion soon learn overseers of their facility are no longer in control and with the help of a kindhearted staff member and a willful outsider Angus and Tarion manage to escape.After freeing themselves from the change of their captivity both boys discover freedom is not as fulfilling as they thought, humanity lives in shambles while creatures lurk outside more monstrous than even their captors.On their journey to the outside world, they'll learn more about the history of what happened to humanity, have to avoid their old captors as they try to capture them, and learn more about their own origins and the reason for their creation.
