Walker

Rate this book

I watched her from afar, despite the fact that my MC brothers strictly prohibited me from any interaction with my ex-wife. Her life was beautiful now, the way it never could have been with me. I thought I could beat the odds, deny the truth, and hide behind my club. After Poppy, I swore I’d never do that to another woman. Then Ressa came along and couldn’t leave well enough alone.

REESA
My best friend married into the Aces High MC – Sierra High Chapter.
I spent a lot of time hanging out with her and a bunch of bikers as a result.
The club had turned over a new leaf in recent years, becoming more family oriented where they had apparently failed other members before.
Members like Walker and his ex-wife, if the stories were true.
Having heard those stories, you would think I would avoid the man like the plague.
He was an unapologetic cheater from what they said. The fact that he walked around with his heartbreak clear in his actions spoke to me more than the stories did. He didn’t want to get involved with me. I didn’t want to give up. Something in his broken soul called to me, and mine wouldn’t rest until his could too.

Walker was first introduced in Redemption Weather (Aces High MC - Cedar Falls book 1) by Christine Michelle. While you don't have to read that book first, it is a good starting point to find out what happened in his past.

What the hell ! Zero to hero 🤩 yes, I will admit it, I would be totally team Walker. He totally owned his past, no excuses, boy did he grow into a good guy! Reesa the heroine, she had such a tough time, so pleased with the outcome, but wow 🤩 what did you do Christine Michelle! You screwed with my mind, I was shouting’No’ ! So loud my husband thought something was happening, yes it was, damn, well worth reading. I’m still reeling!
Thank you for the ARC x

One of the better redemption stories I've read. I couldn't see how the author was going to pull this off, and she did it really well.

Redemption

Where do I start? I started Walker and I could not put it down it was that good! I really didn't like Walker, he did somethings that were so maddening but I guess they were all a form of self sabotage.

I didn't think that I could like Walker as much as I do now. The things he went through and the self doubting that he went through because he went to go see if Poppy was really happy. Did he deserve all that happened to him, absolutely not. Sweet was a shiitake President taking it all on Walker because he could and Walker taking it without mouthing off. Then watching him be an outsider with his brothers. Reading what was done to him and no one stood up for him, until Quickstop had enough. Calling out Sweet and then finding out some of why Sweet was taking all his shot ski out on him. That was just BS. Glad some one had his back.

I loved that Reesa gave Walker a chance and their shared pasts lead Walker to believe that he really had changed. He is a different man to he was then, and he was feeling so low because of what he thought he couldn't give Poppy. That lead him to his self a destruct mode. Reesa gave him what he was looking for and so much more. I loved them together along with her kids. The scene in the store was pretty cool. And we learn so much or about Reesa and her family. Loved that Walker was all in with Reesa and saw what a good man he was. Reesa was all in from the beginning and so was her daughter after what he did for her mom.

Then things get really messy. Things are revealed that I really didn't see coming! But holy shiitake it was wild! I didn't know where it was going but it had me hooked, I had to know what the neck was happening. And some was heartbreaking.. On that note, Walker's life was changing for the better and I'm so glad that Christine Michelle changed my mind on Walker. He absolutely changed to be a better man than he was.

I can't wait for the next in the series!

This is Book 1 in the Aces High MC – Sierra High. I would highly recommend you read Redemption Weather to get the background of Walker being the #1 person to hate. You can learn more about some of the other characters if you read the S.H.E. MC books. I was holding my breath as I started reading this because I wasn’t sure how the author could redeem Walker into being a decent person. Now I have to say that Walker has easily become my favorite member of the Aces High MC. He meets Ressa at a party at the clubhouse and they begin to get to know one another. We also begin to see how he’s grown into who he should be as an adult. There are several things happening throughout the story that I would never have seen coming. Ressa’s had a tough married life and now she’s trying to raise her 2 kids. Things just keep happening involving her late husband. So, we have that along with the things involving Walker’s Club and the S.H.E. MC club. There’s a lot all at once but Walker steps up to help Reesa and his Club. If he hadn’t grown as he did, I see no way that he, Ressa and her family, or the two Clubs could have ever survived what they went through together. But there is that one spot towards the end where I had to grab the Kleenex. It’s sad but they will grow strong together as a Club. Walker has been redeemed beyond my imagination. Thank you for seeing his true character.

First of I’d like to make my feeling known on walker the banker! With a “W” I absolutely hate that man for what he put poor poppy through to me there’s no coming back from that! Okay so maybe I was a little hasty in that last statement! I can’t believe I’m saying this…..I feel a tad sorry for him 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ what the hell has Christine done to me?? On the other had poor Reesa having all that dumped on her! But what a woman! I love the bond between walker and Griff it’s so sweet to see, he’s actually a massive backbone for the brothers it’s humbling to see that side of him,and I’m feeling sorry for him he’s on the defensive with his brothers and it’s heartbreaking to see how he’s been treated, I’d be the first to say he deserves it but he’s more than done his time! It’s so good to see the other side of this story, things are slotting into place for me as a reader of the S.H.E MC. Things now make sense.
All the emotions you get with this book I cried, I laughed and I loved it! Very happy ending and I HAVE to admit it he bloody well redeemed himself! I take back all what I said! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 another cracker Christine you’ve smashed it yet again!!

I received an arc copy of this book for my honest review…..

Walker #1 super villain. We first meet Walker in Redemption weather, to get a true warts and all look at what happened between him, his ex-wife and club, I would recommend reading that book first.

Reesa, single mum of a teen and a toddler is invited to a club party and meets Walker all alone in a corner and they spend most of the night talking and listening.

Wow what a way to start a new series: action, drama, angst, club tensions, OW interference, shocking discoveries, twists and Walkers tough road to redemption.

Some of the main characters are from the S.H.E. series, an all female MC that are involved with members of Aces High MC. Again better to read those first, but if not I guarantee you will want to read them straight after this.
I’m really looking forward to what comes next for this new series.

Walker grows up…

Walker had messed up his first marriage with Poppy. Seriously messed it up by cheating. Divorce followed and she met Smoke. They’re happy together but Walker was caught checking up on her to assure himself she was now happy. His MC Prez and brothers decided to make him work as a prospect for a year and earn back his kutte. (It’s cut, actually. Not sure why it’s spelled like that.)

And Walker meets Reesa in the meantime. She’s a widow and has two kids. She works as a bartender for the women in the S.H.E. MC so she’s somewhat familiar with MC life.

This story gets totally crazy. There are twists that cause immense damage…

Several wrong words - you clinch a deal, not clench. Needed just that one last eagle eyed person to catch the mistakes. Otherwise this is surprisingly good and I was riveted.

The first book in a new series, Walker is the one we have all been waiting for.
We met him in Redemption Weather - the serial cheater who broke Poppy’s heart. But the challenge was issued: could Walker be redeemed?
I have to give some serious props to Christine for this book. Walker was a man who had absolutely learned his lesson. He was honest about his mistakes, paid for the dearly - more than he should have - and earned himself a place in my heart.
Christine also threw some SERIOUS drama into this book, including creating issues for characters we had previously thought were settled down.
All in all, I think it’s safe to say that it’s going to be an interesting ride in the Sierra High Chapter, and I am here for it!
Thank you, Christine, for this amazing book.

Walkers Redemption

I don’t know if I have the words to review this properly. It sticks with the high standard Christine Michelle always delivers, and I’m so happy Walker got his redemption, he deserved all the good Reeves brought him. Seeing the change in him from Redemption Weather to this was amazingly satisfying. I cried at parts towards the end, and while there are certain characters from the SHE series I’m not a fan off, it was lovely to see them here but also incredibly sad for how life turned out for 2 of them. I’m honestly a mix of emotions after reading this. I’m so excited for more in the AHMC series and I hope we get more from the SHE series.

Definitely Redeemed Himself ******

I decided I would read Redemption Weather again I'm glad I did to get the backstory you don't have to but its makes Walker better reading, anyway I'm so glad he was able to redeem himself, didn't like him and his attitude in RW but eventually I fell for him he changed his ways not dramatically but slowly it grew on me, Reesa was definitely the right woman for him and I liked how the meet up at the end with Poppy happened it was unexpected  but worked out well. Also had me in tears but I won't mention that don't want to spoil.... glad they got their HEA

Walker

Even Walked who did some of the most disrespectful things a man can do to his women can turn his life around. No sin goes unpunished in the Aces High MC and sometimes you punish yourself even more than your brothers do. Poppy has always been full of sunshine and love even when you least expect it. This was an amazing book, if you love MC romance with angst, twists and turns this is for you. Find yourself every Christine Michelle book you can get your hands on and dive in for a great read, you won't be disappointed. Definitely amazing 5 star book!!

Walker...... where do i start. I can honestly say, that he hurt my heart and i wanted to do bad things to him when i read about him in Redemption Weather. I was really worried that he wouldn't be able to redeem himself. but he did an amazeballs job at being honest, owning his mistakes, stepping up to the plate and being that man that you know is flawed but worth loving with all you have! i loved Walker! Christine Michelle did an amazing job writing Walker's redemption, just freakin amazing! loved it!!!

Walker is everything I hoped for and then some! I wanted him to be redeemed and I wanted him to be completely happy and this author did that in spades. I can't imagine it being anymore perfect. Him and Reesa are complete and utter perfection together.
Reesa puts him all back together perfectly. There's lots of surprises in this one. I certainly wasn't expecting some of the things that happened that's for sure. I can't wait for Trouble and Trinity now. Walker was a fantastic start to this new Chapter!

Walker (aces high m charges high book 1)

I enjoyed reading this author's novels . Walker finally finds himself and been trying to make better decisions in life. He meets a wonderful woman and family. I was sad to read that Jamie was ill and her relationship with Sweet broken. I would like to know if Walker was able to father a child? I was glad that the book also involved the other mc members.

everything about this book was outstanding!

Everything out this book was outstanding! I could not put it down. It’s clear I need to back up and read a few books before book 2 drops in December! I loved this broken man and finding his HEAD and returning his family of brothers to him! All the drama and surprises were pure brilliance! I was in a book slump and this brought me out of it! So looking forward to so many more characters out of this new series!

Can you redeem Walker? The answer is yes, you can. He was obviously a man who wanted to be redeemed, and put the hours in to make it happen.

The way everything else, including the clubs, fell apart around him, and impacted on him was so sad, and left me with more questions, but I'll leave those for another time.

I can't wait to see what happens to Trouble, Snake and the newest Christine Michelle anti-hero Sweet; bring on their journeys.

This is the story of walker from redemption weather. He cheats on his wife poppy for 4 years. When she finds out she leaves him. This is the story picks up 2 years later and shows him changing.

Walker gets a new h ressa, and I did think he really changed. It’s basically instalove and lots drama, a little too much if I’m being honest. Also I don’t think poppy needed to be so happy for walker. But I’m petty AF.

Emotional

This is a full ride storyline. A great mix of emotions that effect and contribute to the outcome. From hated and abused to love and respect. Clawing ones way from the bottom to remember the person they where. And finally how your decision effect your future and others decision can effect you too. Throw in sickness and you face the full dammit of emotions. Loved this book.

Walker ❤️

In order to fully understand Walker’s story, you would have to have read “Redemption Weather” that gives a background into his life. I love Christine Michelle’s writing and pre-order without having to read the blurb because they always turn out phenomenal!!! Have some tissues ready though and enjoy the beautiful HEA.

Walker! Walker! Walker!!

The one character I loved to hate, and what do you do to him???
....you redeem him!!
I'm not sure if I should laugh, or cry??? But whichever I do, it'll be because you took an unforgettably bad bad husband, tore him apart, and made him worth the love. Thank you .

I was anxious for this book because I wanted to see if there was any chance at all to redeem Walker. Christine not only managed to redeem him but gave me a hero I could really admire. There were so many tangled stories that finally fit together in the end. This book has all the feelings....including grief that was so well done. Walker is for sure worth the read!

heart breaking

I don’t want to spoil anything but you better have the tissue ready. Walker ‘s story gives us all hope in the midst of tragedy. To understand the story I highly recommend reading Redemption Weather at the least and the S.H.E. MC series. In fact I think i will reread them because the stories are just that good.

Omg I loved and hated this book all at once. It was awesome how Walker redeem his self and was a better man, his second chance was spot on. But to lose past people broke my heart.

I was skeptical that Walker could be redeemed. Silly me. I was all in at 30%. I started this book mid morning and didn’t stop until early evening. Christine Michelle did a great job with this story and I’m looking forward to the rest in this series.

Gutwrenching and heartbreaking

Loved the characters, loved the story line. Lots of drama, some action, and a HEA. I did not see this heartbreak coming. Glad I was alone when I read this book. Ugly crying all the way. So be forewarned. But one of the best books I've ever read.
