A beautiful love story from parent to child. Many of the scenes in this book are ones children really enjoy doing, "batting balloons...". My son just studies the pictures and somehow knows just when to turn the page.

I really like Hallinan's rhymes and themes. However I thought the title of this book was a little misleading. It only goes through the letters A, B, and C. No other letters so this is not an alphabet book. I like her other books a little bettwe but this is still good.

I loved reading this book to my kids and we read it so much that I memorized it and recited it sometimes on car trips. My son loved the pictures, especially the little red head girl and we love the rhyming easy to read paragraphs. Every parent should own this book.
