I didn’t really gel with this and I thought I would, being a music fan and general Elton admirer. Elton doesn’t feature greatly - fair enough - but I didn’t find the authors tales of excess, women and horses that interesting. I struggled to pick the book up occasionally, which is really not like me. There are decent bits though, so 3 stars in the end.
