Impressive research done by Author to piece together the details not only family’s story, but also the time-period in U.S. history. Gained significant insights about the homelife, commerce, transportation, politics, etc. of American life during the development of the mid-west during the late 1800 – early 1900’s. A very interesting read which highlights the author’s unwavering commitment and thorough investigation in uncovering the facts and theories to solve the mystery of their great-grandfather’s disappearance.
