They say I've lost my mind, but I know the truth— Wonderland, with all its madness and beauty, has always been my destiny.
In my darkest hour, my desperate pleas for rescue are answered by the most unlikely of saviors—the White Knight, the Mad Hatter, and an incubus who knows where to find the best tacos in LA. They spirited me away from my prison back to the sanctuary of my Malibu mansion, but the luxury of my old life feels hollow. It’s just another cage that no longer holds any allure.
My Wicked Boys have shown me where I truly belong—by their side…in Wonderland.
The moment I arrive, the White Queen confesses that she doesn’t have the strength to keep fighting against the Red Queen for the fate of the realm. She’s realized that there can be only one queen of Wonderland. And she’s prepared to fight her evil sister to the death.
But she can’t do it alone.
And time is running out.
The shadow of the Red Queen’s tyranny looms over us—her army is at the White Queen’s border. Her Jabberwocky is more unstable and more dangerous than it’s ever been.
It’s all hands on deck, and everyone is doing all they can to win the war. So far, the most impressive magical feat I’ve accomplished is conjuring a decent pumpkin spice latte.
While I’m not terrible with a sword, I've never used one on the battlefield. If Wonderland’s fate ultimately rests on my shoulders, we are so totally screwed.
Luckily, I have my Wicked Boys by my side. Our last stand will decide the fate of our world, and the queen who’s destined to reign over it.
Either the White Queen will win…
Or Wonderland will burn, and the Red Queen will rule over the ashes.

Jekka Wilde (aka the Duchess of Depravity) reigns supreme in her frostbitten kingdom in the northern US, where she’s practically forced to write steamy stories to stay warm. A self-proclaimed caffeine aficionado, she can often be found snuggled under a blanket fortress, sipping a matcha latte that's almost as hot as the scorching scenes in her books. In a house that's part library, part shoe warehouse, Jekka's motto in life and literature is ‘Why Choose?'—a philosophy that's evident in every romance she writes. The only thing filthier than her humor is the plot. If you're looking for sweet romance, keep walking. But if you're in for a wild, wicked, and witty ride, congratulations! The best ending to this WILD series. Alice has been through the wringer with her Wicked Boys and this book had me at the edge of my seat. There were so many rescues and I held my breath through each of them. I WAS SO SCARED FOR CALLISTER. Thank gosh this ended on a happy note.
I truly loved this series even though it was weird, wild, and extremely spicy. If I could live with the Wicked Boys, I would 😂
𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: “I’ve tried to resist you, and I have failed. I’ve tried to ignore the last bit of me that is human, yet I cannot. Whatever I have left of a heart . . . it’s yours.”
“And if you lay a hand on Alice while I’m fucking her . . . I will rip out your motherfucking throat.”
“I hereby pledge my fealty to the Queen of Hearts. Long may she reign.”
𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲: • Alice in Wonderland • Why Choose • Touch Her and Die • Epic Battle 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I wish I could say that this was the perfect ending but it felt more like part of a villain origin story than a happy ending. Beware, there is also a nonconsensual scene. The final battle played out how I expected. The end of a decent series.
I’m prefacing my review with a much needed TW: Rape (not between MC’s) I don’t love the author’s quick dismissal of a very traumatic experience. I don’t care who you are, there’s a very big issue with how the author navigates the aftermath of such a physical and mental traumatic experience.
This series did NOT start out strong for me at all. I almost DNF’d book one but each book got better with the world building! I wished we had a scene with ALL of the MMC’s but it was still a huge improvement from book one. This is not typically a book I would consider deserving of a 4 star review but the growth the author showed deserves it.
The final card has been played and it bled ink and power across every page. This wasn’t just a finale. It was a full-circle fever dream; feral, filthy, and somehow satisfying in all the ways I didn’t expect.
As a series? Totally unhinged. Gloriously deranged. And in all honesty- it was just a fun time. If you like your fairytales wicked, your men carnal, and your heroines a little bit feral, a little bit fabulous— this one’s for you.
I absolutely love the conclusion to this series and highly recommend! Be aware though, with this recommendation is also advice to read the trigger warnings and to know that this is a dark and depraved reverse harem series. However, it is so worth it!
I am excited for this story but really sad to see it finished. I loved every bit of it. In this last book, Alice helps save Wonderland from the evil Red Queen. She reconnects with her wonderful bad boy lovers and finds her confidence to help out the creatures of Wonderland. Her strength is appreciated and she is a very important part of Wonderland and how it functions.
I have to say in this book, there is a scene with SA against Alice that is not with her lovers, but with bad people. Like several bad people. That was a bit difficult to read but it’s not too long and detailed and then she finds a way to overcome quickly to fight against the bad forces. Her boys help her overcome too in such a great way. They are devoted to her and it makes a great read.
I have an issue with the author casually gliding over the fact that the fmc was raped by multiple people and her partners that claim to love her didn't address them witnessing the assault. I don't think that scene was necessary if you weren't going to have the fmc 1) react to what happened to her rather than just accept that she couldn't stop the soldiers, or 2) have her heal from a traumatic experience.
The rest of the series and book were great, but I have a huge problem with treating rape as a non-problematic situation.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Omfg I just finished Queen of Hearts and I’m so fuckin sad it’s over!!!! I need more of the wicked boys of wonderland!!!!!! LOVED THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!!!!! Your sexy scenes went all out and I’m here for the debauchery!!!!! I think Ransom and Chess are my favorites but I loved them all and how they all loved her differently and gave her what she needed in their own ways!!!!!!!! You made me love the why choose trope even more then I already did!!!! Take a fuckin bow ma’am because damn!!!!!
I would've given this one 4-stars, for the book and the series overall, because I gotta admit, I flew through this thing. Despite - or maybe because - of how deranged the whole thing is, I really got into this story and the characters, for whatever existed as a plot. (Honestly, if you cut out all the random smut scenes - which were fun, but I'm just saying - if you cut those and just had the plot it would probably be on 300-400 page book.)
And for pure twisted entertainment value, I might have rated it higher - except for the two gratuitous gang rape scenes. I fucking hate the trope of throwing in rape for "tension", but then not actually dealing with any of the trauma or fall-out. Like, literally, both times this happened - once in this book, and once in book two, the immediate response was for Alice to "cleanse" herself by having sex with one of the boys.
And that was it. It was literally just an excuse for another sex scene, and for the boys to come in and rescue Alice... except of course they can't rescue her before the fucking assault.
And then, on top of that, for some reason Alice couldn't But, again, this is just another example of how these plot-points are thrown in for, what? Shock value? Kink? But not actually dealt with in any real way, and they don't belong in this book. There's no value to them being here - no real plot progression. No half-assed character development. Nothing.
Aside from those issues - I overall actually really enjoyed the deranged nonsense of this story.
I just wish there was more Chess in the last books. Like, him and Hatter are the main MMCs in the first book, but then as new characters are added, they kind of get side-lined accept for some moments here and there.
Come with me down a dark, deprived rabbit hole on a new adventure in Wonderland. This is definitely not the Disney version!! Lol
I decided to review the series as a whole, so here we go. May contain minor spoilers.
@jekkawilde definitely didn't disappoint w/ her retelling of this classic story, except in her version there were Demons, Fae, Shifters, an Incubus,& Vampires with some very well described anatomy that could do magical things. Plus pink fuzzy bunnies!! #IYKYK
Alice is all grown up & a rich spoiled reality TV brat! She is found by the white rabbit at a bar and ends up in Wonderland after following him, where of course she meets the Wicked Boys of Wonderland (over the series) and they all want Alice. Which is ok because they share! (Why choose/reverse harem). We have Chess and Callister (cat and caterpillar), Hatter, Ransom (King of Clubs), who gives off serious Mafia devil daddy vibes, and Jack (Jack of Diamonds).
The story of Alice having to save Wonderland from the Red Queen is still there, but this version is so much more. There is a vicious loop of many versions of Alice, trying to slay the queen but this Alice is older, different from the others, but has been hidden from Wonderland, until now. Secrets are revealed, everything changes.
It's super spicy, & I did feel that at times it was a bit much, took away from the story/plot. I did read them all back to back so it may have felt differently if I spaced them out.
Chess is definitely my favorite of the Wicked Boys, with Hatter not too far behind. But she has a special relationship/bond with each one. You learn to like them once you get in deeper and discover things about them (including their special talents and reasons for wanting Alice).
If you are a fan of retellings and like dark, deprived steamy romances, then I would definitely recommend this series. Especially if you were a fan of the Never King Series, or this one is pretty similar. Plus, I learned yesterday that there is a book 5 coming out so will be excited to see how this story continues.
Overall the series is a 3.75 ⭐ Spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ ♠️ 4⭐ ♣️ 3⭐ ♦️3.5⭐ ❤️4⭐
Overall, I'm glad that I kept up reading the series and didn't just abandon it after book 1, like I was tempted to do. In this last book, I did come across one major grammatic/editing issue where there seemed to be a word missing from a sentence. I tried reading the sentence a few different ways to see if I could make it work (in case I was just comprehending it wrong), but I couldn't make it work and I couldn't figure out what it was trying to say. Rather than waste any more time on it, though, I just moved on.
Story-wise, I'm glad that pretty much everything got resolved by the end. There were still some relationships that were weaker than others, but overall I am OK with the ending. I am very glad that there wasn't a new love interest character introduced, considering how much had to happen in this book to tie everything off.
This book also came off as a little lighter than the previous two, and by that I mean how in-depth the writing goes. One major problem I had with this (without spoilers) is that after a major thing happened that normally would be traumatizing to most people, seemed to just be shaken off with a quick romp with one of the love interests, and that was that. It made me question things and just made me wonder if any emotions at this point are to be trusted since there don't seem to be many.
For the series as a whole, I liked books 2 and 3 the most, followed by 4, then 1 is last. Most series that I read 1 is usually the one I like most, so I find it interesting in this case that it is last. I do not believe I will read this series again, but I do recommend it to others, if interested in a quick and easy read. Please don't give up after book 1, because it does get better.
In this review I’ll lump all four books into one review.
The Wicked Boys of Wonderland is a retelling of Alice in Wonderland. Alice came to Wonderland bc her life in California was going nowhere. Her friends were fake, only wanted to gain clout from Alice. Alice thought she had one true friend but turns out she was a spy for Roxanne, the Red Queen. At a bar one night , with her so called friend, Alice was given a pill to make her feel better. Her friend, Dinah , had been drugging her for some time. Great friend to have , huh ? Alice’s friend excuses her and heads to the restroom. While she’s gone Alice sees the White Rabbit and ends up following him down the rabbit hole. While in Wonderland Alice learns why she’s there. Alice was sent to Wonderland to kill Roxanne , the Red Queen. Roxanne is pure evil. She turn the land to mud and slime. Roxanne wants to destroy her sister, Amari the Queen, the White Queen. Amari is nothing like her evil sister. While in Wonderland Alice has to train to kill Roxanne. Also, Alice finds herself being shared amongst five men. The sex was spicy but nothing over the top.
I really enjoyed this series. Some triggers include b/ood and poly. Idk , is poly a trigger ??
What a great ending to this series! These four books ripped me right out of a reading slump and made binging a book in a day doable and fun! I will always have a weakness for Alice in Wonderland, and this one held its own against so many others out there. It was spicy, dirty, whimsical, and heartwarming. I loved all the wicked boys and all their unique attributes. The demons, fae, shifters, and vampire could convince me to fight a Jabberwocky any day. Now Alice was a little more forgiving than I would be in some situations, but it truly was a strength for her that worked in her favor. The whole series was perfection, and I loved it and would highly recommend it, especially for the Alice lovers out there.
Jekka is a genius. I was sucked into this story from the very beginning. I love the emence amount of spice, but there is an actual storyline as well. This one, being the final, pulls on the heartstrings a bit because I love all of these characters and the way their stories play out. I truly couldn't get enough. I'm sad that it's over, but the ending was perfection. Totally recommend, but not for the squimish or sensitive prude. Also, check trigger warnings before indulging.
This series was sooo good!!!! I waited (NOT VERY) patiently for the whole series to be out and I am so glad I did cause I would've lost my mind while waiting for the next one! This series was absolutely phenomenal 😍👏🏼 there's not a single one of her men I didn't love but Ransom is by fav my favorite 🫣🥵 Thank you Jekka for giving me this series I didn't realize I needed 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is not for everyone! And that's super okay! A lot of times in this book I really had to push myself to finish it and some of the phrasing really made me sigh and put down the book for a few minutes. I read everything in about 3 days give or take, and I'm not mad about it.
Also there is major triggers in this book! So please read up on them and do not go into it blind!
The wrap up of the whole series and it ends with an HEA!
Honestly I loved this series as a whole. It's one where I highly recommend you check the trigger warnings before going into it. Book 2 and this one have SA on page and then she's saved and it makes their relationships stronger. It was a little hard to read but it was significant to the storyline and the relationship development. This one is hella spicy, I mean they all are, but this one has straight up monster smut. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🔥
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This last book had so much action and the perfect ending!! I could not put this down! The cliffhanger of the last book had me diving right in. I love how they saved her and how she ended up saving Wonderland I wasn’t expecting that. The whole story was just so good and sooooo freaking spicy!!! If you like RH books and Alice in wonderland I don’t know what you’re waiting for! Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
After the guys rescue Alice from the asylum, they all return to the White Queen’s land where war preparations are ramping up. She gets a little complacent which leads to more trouble, but it kind of plays into her hand. Although she is quite promiscuous, thankfully, Alice is a kind person. This pays off so big in the final showdown with the Red Queen and her army. This is a fun and definitely the most exciting book in the series.
When I say I absolutely devoured this book without wanting it to end I mean it with my whole soul. I loved this series so much I will 100% reread it in the future. Jekka’s way of combining an amazing story and characters with a real feeling of being immersed in a completely different world is incredible and I can’t wait to read more of her amazing stories!
I have been waiting for this book to come out, and it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved this series, it is officially a comfort series for me. This was the perfect end to Alice and her wicked boys, although I will miss them. This series is funny, exciting, spicy, and just down right fun. I will always recommend. If you have not read yet, please do!
Alice has been through one hell of a journey with her men and this book will have you aching for more. She has grown so much and these experiences have molded her to be the brave hero Wonderland needs. There is a brief bit of SA in this one so be mindful if that is a trigger for you. Also that bit with Callister? *Chefs Kiss* 10/10
This one wasn’t as good as two and three but it was still good! More happened in this one for sure. The caterpillar thing was crazy and I wasn’t expecting it; it was very odd, I’m not mad though lol.
♥️Alice in Wonderland 🔥Reverse Harem 🔮Fantasy 😈Demons 🧛Vampire
This series had me in a chokehold from book 1 and it definitely does not disappoint in the plot or the spicy scenes I ate up every book and finished the series in less than a week Jekka Wilde has a way of capturing every character and detail so well that it played out like a movie in my mind I am now sad that I can't be in wonderland as well
This was the best action pack ending of a series I’ve pretty much ever read. I actually love the characters and their growth and the retelling of Alice in Wonderland was just smutty deliciousness so if you like why choose paranormal adventure, lots and lots of spies definitely check out this series!
The wait for this book was so worth it! The perfect ending to the series. I love how the dynamic between Alice and her men really seems to come together. And Alice gains a lot of the self-confidence she needs. Highly recommend this series if you want a dark wonderland retelling!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series. Read all 4 books in one day if that tells you anything. I will say, i thought this was going to end slightly different than it did so pleasantly surprised with the ending
This was the perfect ending to the Alice with her wicked wonderland boys series. This series was absolutely amazing and one of my favorites new reads of the year. This book was just an amazing addition to the other three. I’m sad it’s over though lol.
DNF @60%. Tried really hard to finish. Put down, pick up & repeat. Honestly, I loved all the other books, but for some reason, I got bored with this one. I don't think it had to do with the book itself. More that I was over this "phase".
