I started my book. Wasnt sure what to expect. Omgosh. The juicy steamy. Loved it. There are so many twists. With each one you have to keep reading to guess.. "What next". I adored the characters. However, she is at the end of her rope financially and is at a crossroads. Sophia gets a big break, a major show of new artists. If she can sell a few of the paintings, it will bring in some money, allowing her to stay to continue pursuing her artistic dreams. Gabriel is a billionaire who has failed in his relationships and realizes he needs to change. He falls in love with one of Sophia's paintings and decides he must have it. Gabriel and Sophia meet. Sophia is a little younger than his usual woman. However, that does not stop him because he finds her very intriguing. He decides he must have her. She resists and is independent but slowly falls for him too. Sophia is the target of her father, who tries to scam her for her money. Gabriel steps in to help her. Sophia helps Gabe heal where his own father is concerned as well. There are several second chances throughout the book. Also, the steamy story leads to love and a happily every after. I would recommend if you like alpha billionaire, steamy romances, second chances, and happily-ever-afters! 🥰🥰🥰

Wow, when I read this book, I thought about the song that Tracey Lawrence sang, “Paint me a Birmingham.” Not sure why but I did.
Gabriel falls in love with a painting and wants it but when he meets the artist, it isn’t just the painting he wants, he wants her, he wants Sophia. Gabriel didn’t think he was capable of loving someone again but Sophia made it easy but can he convince her to take a chance?

Sophia doesn’t trust anyone especially another man but if she could open her mind and her heart, she could trust Gabriel but in doing that she opens herself up to be heartbroken. Can she overcome her past and give into the temptation of love with a man like Gabriel?

I finally was able to read and review this book and all I can say is, once I sat down, I was glued. Jade always draws me into her books and I can’t wait to see what she does next!

I really enjoyed this book. I love the way she showed reconciliation in families in both ways. Good and bad. How having a wonderful relationship can bleed into other parts of your life. The support that he was willing to give her artistry career which brought them together in the first place. How lavishes her in materials and she lavishes him in emotional support the relationship, makes it not feel one-sided like some billionaire books . Only reason I gave it. Four stars is because the beginning felt kind of rushed, but as the story progressed, you can feel good depth that got put into this wonderful story.

It’s a nice romance story.
The characters, although stereotypical, fit exactly into the genre of “struggling artists meets a hot billionaire and they live happily ever after”. If you like those kind of plots, you will definitely enjoy this book.
I personally don’t like the writing in the present tense, so it made my reading experience a bit less enjoyable, but overall it was a good read.

If I have never read a Jade Christy novel before, what an introduction.
