Robot ninja by Damien Casey, it isn’t a long book but OMG is it entertaining. A man creates a character that was a hit and with most hits Hollywood wants to feed off of it. After comic rider Leonard Miller witnesses a couple get murdered he decides to make his comic hero into reality. what the help of Dr. Goodnite who soon regrets his pardon it Robot Ninja the real version is born, and he even has a nemesis. unfortunately, for Leonard and the robot ninja reality and delusion blur, and it doesn’t end well for the once famed rider.

This was a great concept for a superhero novelization, it had a element that I was looking for and was engaged with the world going on. The characters were everything that I was hoping for an enjoyed the element of the genre and thought the storyline worked overall. Damien Casey has a great writing style and enjoyed this overall.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the classic 1960s Batman. Robot Ninja is the new vigilante on the block. He (rather tries to) stand up for society victims. It's extremely dark not for the faint of heart.

I have yet to see the movie however I plan to.

This is one of the best novelizations I've ever read.

I read the book this week and finished up with the movie tonight.

For me, the most important thing that a novelization has to do is keep the feel or vibe of the original movie, while adding more background and detail to it, and with this one Damien Casey has done an outstanding job, the extra detail in this book fit in perfectly, give the characters more depth and making them more well rounded and relatable, there is also some extra scenes that where not in the movie, giving a unique insight into the mind of the main character.

If you liked this movie, then this book is a must, it's like when you get an awesome special features on a DVD.

The movie is not your typical comic book hero movie, this one is more a tragedy than a hero origin story.
