It was so nice of Scare Street to publish this series. I've loved each and every one so far. This volume, Tales of James Moran, provides plenty of insight into James's earlier years, how he came to get into his unusual occupation. The stories here are short but compelling. I couldn't stop reading. Getting background information on these characters adds a degree of richness to the entire Shane Ryan series. The reader begins to feel like part of a larger, albeit somewhat dysfunctional, family. Give me more of this.
I am totally loving this new Scare Street Series! Not only do we get all-new multiple Scares, but Background and backstory fleshing out these somewhat but not-really-so "Secondary" characters whom we love and admire. Sometimes in the regular Series there isn't enough "room" to elucidate our "back-up crew," so meeting them individually and personally is so superb! (I hope to soon see a story set for Jacinta, and for our Canadian "friends"!)
I absolutely loved it! It's really cool to find out more in depth information about characters that I know and love from other books! Explains so much about why/what they do and are. These little snippets are like windows to the "real person" and some pieces I'd even like to be turned into more! I also would like even more "windows " to peer through. You're definitely going to enjoy this book especially if you're already a follower of Shane and his friends and "family" 😉😁❤
This audiobook gave me the chills! Every little story had me creeped out looking over my shoulder . The narrator is so talented giving all the characters a voice . Which in turn made it more chilling . I really enjoyed listening to James Morans stories.
