I am ecstatic to see this new collection! This HAUNTED SECRETS Series from SCARE STREET is superb across the board, satisfying questions and backstory and extended story about several of the secondary characters we readers would like to better discover. Then to find the newest collection focuses on my all-time favorite character! Granted, some of the regular characters are a touch abrasive or difficult to know [I'm looking at you, Shane Ryan]; or downright scary [Eloise, sometimes], or really terrifying [Shane's cellar dwellers]. But young Jimmy Hsu is a beloved character whom I check for in every Anthology: he is unfailingly on target, dedicated, diligent, wise, possessing an eidetic Memory (probably linked to his high-functioning autism), and unlike many, thinks ahead of potential consequences and outcomes BEFORE he acts. I treasure this new collection and am making of it a frequent reread. Thank you, SCARE STREET.

This is the longest book by far that Scare Street has published to date. At more than 550 pages, it took me a bit longer to read than usual and I'll admit that some of the stories got a little repetitive. That didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book. Jimmy Hsu is one of my favorite Scare Street characters. For one so young, he has a brave streak in him that few others can boast. He willingly faces down and defeats monsters that defy imagination.
One of my hopes for Jimmy's character is that Scare Street follows him into adulthood. He could become a ghost hunter as formidable as Shane Ryan, and wouldn't it be a trip if the two of them teamed up?
Haunted Secrets is a terrific series. I hope for more of them.

Spectacular writing with absolutely outstanding character! Scare Street puts out some of the best books I've ever read in my life and I'm 58 years old and have been reading horror for just about that long!
This kid will blow your mind! I just can't get enough of him!
I loved EVERYTHING about this book and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
