Dazed with Mr. Billionaire: Clean Contemporary Romance Novel - Grouchy Demanding Boss - Amnesia

Rate this book
Eighteen months, and I’m no closer to remembering who I am. Broken and bleeding, someone left me at the hospital with no identification and took off. If not for Holly, my only friend in the world now, I’d be completely alone.

“Let’s go back to my home island,” she’d said, enticing me to leave New York and have a respite from the pain of amnesia. “My friends Oliver and Ben own an entire island in the Bahamas, and they just opened a new restaurant!”

Little did I know that billionaire Oliver Walker would possess such a magnetic and captivating charm. With his commanding presence and striking good looks, he's my new boss, and working for him is no walk in the park. The attraction I feel is disturbing. I could be married or have children. I have no memory of my “past life,” and I can’t take the chance.

But Oliver’s pull is strong. He’s taken me under his wing, and I’m seeing a side of him I’m finding hard to resist. As pieces of my life come into focus and I start to remember, there are things I recall about Oliver Walker that were better left forgotten.

Things that might prevent us from ever being together.

Without memory who is your foe?
An engaging read about having no memory of the past and being forced to start over. That is the situation Sierra finds herself in when she awakens in the hospital. All she knows is a man dropped her at the hospital door and immediately left. Taken in by Holly, a woman she meets in the recovery room, she adopts the name of Sierra and begins life again. On a trip back to the town where Holly was raised, Sierra finds that she has extensive culinary skills rivaling that of Oliver, a professional and competitive chef and friend of Holly’s. Oliver is struck by Sierra’s resemblance to a chef he competed with and has gone missing. As Oliver pursues his suspicions, will their relationship survive the information he finds? Especially when the other chef hates him. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

This is the fist time I've read a Gigi Sloan book. It may also be my first official billionaire trope book. What really appealed to me was the amnesia aspect. I'm drawn to any story that features amnesia. This one was different than other amnesia books I've read. I had to find out how it concluded!

To be honest though, there were times when I wanted to stop reading. Mostly because of the way Oliver treated Sierra. I thought he was demeaning and overbearing. I understand, mostly later, that those actions are supposed to be part of his charm. I know that I'd never allow myself to be treated that way and hated to see another person endure that without standing up for herself.

I thank the author for the complimentary copy of the ebook. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Dazed with Mr. Billionaire was a perfectly titled book!

Sierra lost all memory recollection of her life after an 18 month hospital stay. She meets Holly (a new friend) and took on the identity of Sierra.
I loved Sierra and Holly’s friendship. Holly took on the role of a caretaker to help Sierra live a new life and became an incredible friend to her during a rough time. Oliver was a great MMC. He came off a bit stubborn and rude sometimes, but I loved how he let his guard down after a while. The banter between him and Sierra made the book a great read for me! I loved the storyline and the supportive characters through the story. This was my first book by Gigi Sloan and I enjoyed it very much! I can’t wait to read the rest of her billionaire series :)

This is a fun, entertaining read. Oliver and Sierra are interesting, relatable, intriguing, complex, strong, entertaining characters. The path to their HEA has twists and turns and is entertaining to read. These two are fun to spend time with. I love the amnesia trope and this story didn’t disappoint. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. The story is easy to read and get into.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cute clean romance. Part of the Billionaire series. I like Oliver for the most part. I didn’t like how he talked to Sierra, which I why I gave four stars. I don’t tolerate terms like “good girl” ”Brat” from anyone. The storyline was fun and kept my interest.

18 months and still no memory of who she was or what happened to her. Surely someone should have been missing her? Thankfully she became friends with her hospital roommate and they took her in and gave her a better name than Jane Doe. Now Sierra is going to spend the summer on an island with Holly and her friends Oliver and Ben. Only, Oliver is acting strange. Sierra reminds him of someone in looks but not behavior. Who is Sierra really? What happened to her? When he discovers the truth and she regains her memory will her behavior change back too? Will they find out what happened to cause her amnesia?
