These poems were written from the deepest parts of Shantasha’s heart which is what you feel. It reads like I’m in her head seeing and experiencing her pov as a black woman. After all I’m black myself and can relate and understand her voice here. It’s worth the read and more… 🫶🏾

Shantasha’s bared her soul in each poem. I loved how each poem had its own rhythm and style. Can’t wait to read more of her work. 😁
