New author to me, and I enjoyed this quick read.
Olivia, new college graduate, who takes a secretary job at her dream company to work her way up. She doesn't mind that so much, its dealing with her mean and grumpy boss that has her up in arms! He is very handsome, but she cannot get past his brash behavior. So, when he asks her to accompany him on a business trip to Hawaii, she is dumbfounded. Why me? This won't end well.
Luca, the young CEO, who has worked hard and done well for himself. However, his upbringing and the state of his relationship with his parents, or lack thereof, has turned him into a mean, unfeeling person. Until Olivia that is.... Unbeknownst to her, she makes him smile, brightens his day, and motivates him to be a better person. So, what do I do with these feelings?
The Hawaii trip changed the dynamic of their relationship, as they go to know each other better. During a moment of vulnerability, they crossed the line, and Olivia is spooked. Now she is running and hiding from Luca, questioning everything because love has not played fair in her life thus far. She's scared. Meanwhile, Luca is wide open and ready to experience all that is Olivia, although he doesn't quite know how.
This was a cute story, and I look forward to reading more of this author's work in the future.

Olivia and Luca have a place in my heart forever.
I love a ceo office romance. Always have always will. I love Olivia’s connections to family that is sprinkled well throughout the book. I love Olivia and Luca progressing into a relationship with its ups and downs. I love a grand gesture. This book made me giggle so much, I was so excited to get my hands on this.

This was cute. I wish it was longer so we could really experience them as a couple.
