♥ Welcome to Hayden Falls, Montana ♥

"I'm the quiet brother. Nothing gets under my skin. Well, not until a little brunette swings her way into my life and changes everything."

Leo Barnes was happy protecting his hometown. Most people believe he's grumpy. He's just quiet. His brothers are falling in love while he watches from the shadows. If there's a woman out there for him, she isn't in Hayden Falls. Sadly, he's not leaving to find her. He was content being alone until she showed up one night and destroyed his quiet little world mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The night Kyleigh's life and five-year plan for her future explodes, she leaves Seattle, heading to the little town where she was born. One bad decision costs her her job, her freedom, and her heart.

Will the quiet deputy and his family ever forgive her? Can Kyleigh and Leo get past what she did and fall over the edge together? Or were her actions unforgivable, and they part ways forever?

So good

I stayed up late to finish. I only got halfway through on my first round of reading because of life, but once I started the 2nd half I knew there was no quitting. I was as much a goner as Leo. Loved it.

Slugger hit a home run!

No this is not about a baseball game! I loved this story about the quiet Leo Barnes and Kyleigh Green. Debbie Hyde you did it yet again! You knocked this one out of the ball park! In the previous serries i loved this family but I fell more in love with Leo and Granddad Barnes in this story; I had already fell in love with this family ( yes these characters feel like apart of my family) , thats how well Debbie Hyde tells the story. This story made me laugh, cry, and so many more emotions that it kept me turning the pages. I can't wait to see what happens to Levi! Hopefully he and Grace will come to their senses in the next book.
Thank you Debbie Hyde for another enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Leo and Kyleigh's story had me from page one. I love this series so much. I was avoiding reading #8 until there was more to read but I had to know who's book was next in this amazing clean romance series.
Leo already had my heart from the previous books, I am so glad that we got to see his and Kyleigh's story. This was such a cute back and forth. I cannot wait until the next book makes an appearance.

Welcome to Hayden Falls!
The first thing that grabbed me about Debbie Hyde's book was the cozy small-town, close-knit community and values. I wanted to hang out at Beth's diner/ bakery and have a drink at Cowboy's. The story unfolds slowly, building up to the real feelings of romance, not just a hook-up. It's a true slow burn for fans who love reading two main characters' point of view via alternating chapters.

Newcomer Kyleigh not being able to distinguish between quiet, handsome Sheriff Leo Barnes and his Sheriff twin brother, Lucas, is endearing. It brings a little comedy, and mostly credibility to the story. It's a real dilemma for any newcomer. And being new to this series myself, (reading this book first instead of in order) I am right there with Kyleigh, confused!

Especially since Leo has three brothers, (all start with 'L') and two of the bros have the similar names of Lucas and Luke. Even as I write this, I am not sure if his twin is Luke or Lucas. hahahaa It's definitely not Levi, who is a twin of the other one.

The Luke and Lucas thing makes me wonder if there's a funny family joke back in the first book, or if it's a family tradition, so it definitely makes me want to read that and see! But hey, being confused on names is on me though. It happens in movies when some unrelated characters look alike, too.

Leo and his two brothers, Lucas and Levi, don't take Luke seriously though and are often dismissive, but Luke is the one that has the wiser insight. He notices details for clues they miss so they should treat him better. And maybe Leo's truck wouldn't have been so battered if he listened to Luke and ran out to see sooner! (Is there a reason stated as to why they treat him like that in the previous books?)

There's even a girl named Hadley in Hayden Falls. :) She seems wonderful and makes Kyleigh feel welcome, even after the crime Kyl has committed! I would love to have Hads as a friend.

The town's other welcoming committee comes from some of the females Kyleigh meets --the Barnes' boys' girlfriends-- and one she is reacquainted with, such as Grace, her childhood bestie. Mostly the feel-good camaraderie comes from Leo's mother--she has open arms as she ushers guests to her table for family dinners. And that includes Kyleigh Green, the beautiful "bad girl" who just happened to be at the wrong truck at the wrong time, and in the wrong frame of mind--when she bashes Darlin' in!

Leo and his grandpa love that truck! So Kyleigh's place at their table--and appointed community service fixing Darlin' alongside them--- isn't easy for Leo or Granddad to take.
Who wants a spoiled girl hanging around as a reminder, getting in their way as she paints her nails? But Leo discovers there's more to Kyl than meets the eye.

Unbeknownst to Kyleigh, when danger skulks in to sniff around, Leo and his brothers fiercely decide to protect her from the bad guys. She begins to see Leo in a different light too, but should she fall for him in Hayden Falls when she's just passing through? And just wait til you find out who Kyleigh's father is---it really upsets the apple cart!

Dawwwws!

This cute story has it all: forced proximity, slow burn and a protective cop who might be the world's last gentleman. There's even a second chance in the background.

After Kyleigh and her friends beat up Leo's beloved vintage truck, she's served with probation that keeps her stuck in Hayden Falls for six months. Not only that, she's ordered to fix his truck with him, something neither party wants. But when they go out of town to get a door for the truck, something changes in them.

Between a quiet man who's never had a serious relationship and a shy girl who could use a little more confidence, takes a while for things to heat up. But, when she finally gets up the courage to say what he couldn't bring himself to, it's just so sweet. Awwww!

Come take a walk down Main Street and sip a coffee while a pig flies across the town square--for real. And don't forget, family dinner's on Sunday. Not optional.

This is the eighth installment in the Hayden Falls series, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The Barnes family has two sets of twin brothers, which I find fun because I have twin girls. In this story, Kyleigh has a difficult time telling her twin (Leo) from the other twin (Luke). I knew identical twins growing up, and they enjoyed messing with people, especially their teachers. It seems that Leo and Luke enjoyed the same. But that is the least of Kyleigh’s worries. One horrible mistake causes her to lose her job and her freedom for at least 6 months. I enjoy the interactions with all the previous “people” I’ve “met” from Hayden Falls. This story has it all: flying pigs, alien parents, a sneaky grandparent, and two bad-news dudes. Of course, it’s a happy ever after ending, and I can’t wait for more from Hayden Falls.

Another amazing read

I've been eager to read this for ages. It was well worth the wait. I fell in love with Kyleigh and Leo from the very start. I hope Grace's story is next, or very soon. She has made her way into my heart too.
