Amnesia has stolen everything from her.

Beth Lindon doesn't remember a single thing about who she or what happened to her to cause her mind to check out and blank out an entire lifetime. All she knows is she's supposedly married to the man who saved her life six years ago. When her husband is almost killed in an explosion she knows she either has to remember of she'll lose the man everyone tells her she was madly in love with.

For Axel "Axe" Lindon there is nothing worse than having your wife back in your life but being unable to comfort her, help her heal, because she has no idea who you are. His determination to get answers almost got himself and his teammates killed but he's not stopping. Not until his wife remembers him and she's back in his arms where she belongs.

But things aren't as they seem, danger is circling closer, and without Beth's memories they're all sitting ducks.

having sex when they are in the midst of running away from the bad guys feels rather ridiculous. i think that sometimes author wants to give some sort of "fairy tale" execution however in no way are they realistic in the eyes of readers.

there are things that are really repetitive that seems like it's written to fill up the word count.

These men all had families. Tank was engaged to Tillie, they were getting married in just a few weeks. Rock and Ariel were getting married in the summer. Scorpion and Jessica planned to marry before their baby arrived. Trick and Stephanie were still healing from their ordeal earlier in the year and were very much in love. Panther had an eight-year-old son and had literally just found out he was having a baby with Elle, adding child number three to their soon-to-be blended family.
.
.
She saw the way Tillie loved Tank, the way Ariel loved Rock, the way Jessica loved Scorpion, the way Stephanie loved Trick, and the way Elle loved Panther. She saw it all and knew she was no longer capable of loving Axel that same way. She was a failure as a wife, a failure as a friend, and a failure as a person.
.
.
If Bravo Team couldn’t fight off the men, they would all die in these woods. Tillie would never get to marry the man she loved after putting off the wedding twice already. Likewise, Ariel would never get to marry her lifelong crush and soulmate. Jessica wouldn’t marry Scorpion and would raise their daughter alone. Stephanie would never get to say yes when Trick asked her to marry him. And Elle would be left raising her daughter, Panther’s son, and their unborn child alone.
.
.
“We busted up Tank and Tillie’s wedding again,” Axel continued, “we’ll take them with us, they can say their vows for the first time while we repeat them. Hell, we’ll take the whole team. Rock and Ariel are engaged anyway, Scorpion wants to marry Jessica before the baby comes, and Panther wants to do the same with Elle. And we all know Trick was just waiting for the perfect time to propose to Stephanie, if he would just hurry up and realize there is no such thing as the perfect time, that every second is precious then they can join in. We’ll marry as a team, show the world that Bravo Team is stronger together, that we’re a family that nothing and no one can break up.”

~ the whole whatever is happening with the relationship of the heroes just keep on repeating and repeating.

and i was wondering of what happen with the heroine's family that sold her to the abductor? i mean with all the horrible things that happen in her childhood, nothing was done to her family? just find it odd...

I knew reading this book was possibly going to be tough, and at times, it definitely was, but it was so good! The previous book, Buried Scars, had an intense ending, so I knew this would be the first thing we’d read about in the story; however, it was just the tip of the emotional roller coaster.

Beth had been a quiet character throughout the series because of her amnesia. Knowing that she had a terrible childhood, had been a victim of abuse by an evil person, and then kidnapped again meant Beth’s brain had shut off her past to her memory. She only had a very minimal knowledge about her life through the facts given by Bravo Team. It had affected her marriage to Axel, which is understandable as they were virtually strangers from her perspective.

I was immediately intrigued by Beth’s story and wanted to know more about it the whole way through the series. But… then again, I knew it would be brutal. She’s a fabulous character who wouldn’t know how to hurt anyone. Her strength is incredible and admirable.

Axe has always been extremely supportive and loving. I honestly didn’t know how both characters handled the tension in their house when she arrived home again, but it sure was a testament to their love.

The story moved into a ‘sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-chair’ situation where the action and drama were at an all-time high. Honestly, without giving anything away, I can say that this author did an amazing job. It was filled with anxiety and suspense; the writing was superb.

I am going to be naughty and give a little teaser—it was great to get a glimpse of some future characters. I’m already looking forward to reading about the coming series, Charlie Team and the Delta Team.

This is the story I have been waiting for since the start of this series. And this book has actin from the get-go!

We first met Axe and his wife, Beth in Vicious Scars, when Beth appears after being missing for eight months. This was not an around happy reunion though as Beth doesn’t remember Axe. In fact she remembers nothing, not her own name, not what happened to her and certainly not her marriage.

Axe is desperate to help Beth, but she has kept herself apart since then, only gradually opening up to the men of Bravo team and their women.

The mystery of those missing eight months is finally revealed, and as this a Jane Blythe book, we know it’s going to be explosive!

When Axe is hurt and hospitalised though, Beth is determined to be there for the man who she has been gradually learning to trust.

As she spends more time with Axe in the hospital, memories start to return to Beth, slowly at first and then more and more as she begins to understand what has happened.

There are twists and turns and a scarily Machiavellian villain behind everything that has happened. I was on the edge of my seat reading and routing for our heroes!

Can Beth and Axe, with the help of Bravo team get to the bottom of everything? Read on to discover the dramatic conclusion to this series!

This book was a fitting end to a wonderful series. I loved it!

Wow Axel and Beth’s story will grab you from the start and not let go until the end. You will be sucked into their emotions, the torment and twisted story that we have all been waiting for. These two have been through it all, and to have the woman you love not remember you or what you shared tore him to pieces, but he would never give up on her, even let her go to be whole again if he had to. But danger is always lurking and won’t stop until they get Baranov and his men, but fate has another path for Axel and now Beth is the one suffering not knowing what’s going to happen to Axel. The shock and feelings of love for this man, everything comes flooding back to her and now she has to make him wake up so she can tell him she loves him and always has. Their journey isn’t over and together they will find Baranov and end him or so they think. There’s a twist that you won’t see coming, I know I didn’t and it shocked me. I want to say so much more, but I don’t want to give anything away. This is a must read for the summer and will read it in one sitting. This author really knows how to capture her characters, side characters and the villains perfectly. Thanks for this amazing series.

From one torture to another....no escape

I knew Beth and Axel's book was going to be brutal, reliving Beth's past, her being sold, then kidnapped, but the horrors just kept coming, with no rest or reprieve. Reading this is like being sucked into a tornado of emotion that collides with a hurricane of pain and finishes off with a tsunami of evil crushing the life of everything in its path. All of Prey are warriors, fighting for freedom, justice and the defenceless....they are warriors by choice. But Beth is a warrior through survival, she has been tortured, beaten, raped, sold, kidnapped, drugged and forced to fight to the death...but she has not broken. She may be cracked, dinted, bruised and dazed but she never stops fighting.....right to her last breath. A true warrior every step of the way.
Like a train crash you know is going to happen but cannot look away from, this book is torturous and painful to read, but you cannot put it down. Each page demands you read the next, through your tears, your fear, your hatred of the captors and the elation when Prey successfully rescues, it is a need that has you turning each and every page no matter how emotionally ravaged you feel.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Well, well, well. Where do I begin? There was so much going on that I’m still flabbergasted with my mouth wide open! We knew that whatever Beth went through was a lot to make her forget everything that happened those 8 months she was missing, but I wasn’t ready for what actually happened. I thought I was, but once again Ms. Blythe really threw me! I love this book and these characters so much and now I can rest easy knowing that the truth will come out. Beth is a true survivor and Axel is a steadfast, caring and loving protector who stands by her no matter what. This book starts out with a literal bang almost from the start and takes you on the journey of what went down with Beth. I’m telling you, when you find out you’re not going to believe it! Her story is heartbreaking, yet heartwarming. Lonely, yet full of love and found family. This book delivers on closing the chapter of Bravo Team while also answering all of those up to this point unanswered questions. You won’t be disappointed!

Wicked Scars

OMG! Glad we finally got Axel and Beth's story! This story was brutal right from the beginning. Beth's story was totally horrific right from the beginning of her life. It didn't help being sold to a sadistic man. If she learned anything, she was a fighter. When Axel and his team saved her and another woman, that was supposed to be a happy ending but it wasn't. Their love for each other persevered. I am happy all of the bad guys were taken care of. It was sad that one of the bad guys was actually a victim too. Anyway, what a way to end the series of the Bravo Team by all of them getting married on the same day as Axel and Beth renewed their wedding vows. I am happy for all of these men and women. FANTASTIC job Jane! I would highly recommend this book and this series.

This is without a doubt my favourite book by Jane Blythe. I knew this book would be very emotional but it was a beautiful story of love and reconnecting with your love. Axel and Beth have been through so much in life but Beth’s story is one of strength, courage and survival and she does it all with Axel at her side and a fierce determination. Lots of drama and some steamy scenes will capture your heart in this final book in the Bravo Team series. I am so glad I gave a chance on Jane Blythe’s books years ago because it has been a wonderful journey reading all her books and it will continue with more to come. Give this author a chance you will not regret it for a second and you will be hooked.

The story I was waiting for in this series, what happened to Beth?
She had a hellish childhood then was sold to evil, she's a true survivor. Until she was taken again and came home with total amnesia.
When her husband is seriously hurt we see her suffer flashbacks from her ugly life, the life she'd rather forget.
She and Axel are slowly finding their way back to each other. Her memories are returning and then she's ready to help find the place and evil that held her.
Danger is all around them, coming from the expected. Will they manage to escape this evil and have their happy ever after. You really want to read this book.

Such an emotional and intense story about the healing love can bring.

This was a testament to the love between Prey Security officer, Axel and his wife Beth who was recovering from being abducted.

Beth was such a strong brave woman who even though she didn't remember her life, she knew she loved Axel. He was such a caring guy, and matched their brokenness together very well.

Chock full of danger, drama, suspense and intense moments. The romance of these two was totally unrivalled. Sweet, gentle and patient with each other. Full of insecurity and wanting so much to be gone with the danger and regret.

I truly loved this book. I highly recommend it. Just brilliant!!

Another well written dark story. This book was a very emotional and gut wrenching story. There was such a darkness over Beth's head. She had went through so much her whole life. She is so strong and tough to get through her child and teenage years. Then she was kidnapped. Then there was Beth's husband Axel, he loved her so much, A very loving man he would anything and everything for her. Axel and his men went on to find Leonidan and Tomas and there was an explosion, and guys was hurt. Axel ended up in a coma and Beth did not leave his side. This is when Beth felt the love that she had for Axel, and started to get her memory back. There was so much danger, excitement, action, and tears. Highly recommend this story

I’ve loved this series but I have been eagerly awaiting this one!
Beth’s story has had me intrigued from the beginning. With little snippets or flashbacks here and there, you can slowly put together a picture of the horrors she has endured and a childhood of just awful evils. With her amnesia causing her to retreat inside, the struggles she has faced throughout the series, it is her husband Axel’s protectiveness and love for her that, when he is injured, Beth is finally ready to regain her memories and fight for it all. Question is, will they get their happy ever after?
An absolutely sensational series by Jane Blythe! Can’t wait to see what she has in store for her readers next!

While the team follows up on another Baranov lead, Beth’s having her own private pity party, wondering if she should just leave. She
hasn’t recalled anything prior to reappearing at the compound a year ago. Meanwhile, the team’s caught in a trap and most of the them are injured. Axe is in coma and but thinking his life isn’t worthwhile without Beth. By the time Beth arrives at the hospital with the guy’s girlfriends, she’s decided Axel wouldn’t leave her and she has to fight her way through her memories to help him.

Beth dares to push through her horrid memories and is ready to help the team find where she’s been held by a Lindon

Nice ending for the series

Lots of ups, downs, angst, laughs, and cheers. This book was a nice wrap-up to the series and hopefully, will aid in a series about Delta Team.
The only thing I would have liked to have read, and this is my bloodthirsty side showing, was Bravo Team going after Beth’s family and rescuing any of her female relatives who needed it. Plus eliminating her male relatives so they couldn’t perpetuate their evil.
But overall, this was a book that kept you turning the page, saying “just one more paragraph” “Just one more chapter” until you finished reading it and cheered for another HEA.

We finally get Axe and Beth’s story. It’s also the conclusion to the Bravo Team series. My heart broke for the torment that Beth’s life has been. Her and Axe’s love story is so incredibly touching. Axe is a leader and very much an alpha but Beth brings him to his knees with her love and bravery. We get to see the teams in future Prey Security series. The ending is so beautiful and touching. Don’t worry that this is not one of Jane Blythe’s signature torture stories. She puts her characters through much pain. I look forward to her next new Prey series.

It's finally time for Axel and Beth's HEA and because it's the last of the series this is the couple you have cheered for. Personally, I have loved this couple and have been rooting for their HEA since book one and Jane delivered of course! This couple fell in love and watch them fall all over again and you will be on pins and needles on this journey. It's a beautiful story of never giving up and that loves does win!! It is my favorite book of Jane's and her best wtiting to date! Sp don't skip the last book where family is love.

I’ve been waiting for Axel and Beth’s story and it lived up to my expectations. Was a fantastic read. This had all I wanted from a romantic suspense book.

I loved both Axel and Beth, they truly were made for each other. I love the whole Bravo team and their partners, what a great bunch of guys.

Plenty of suspense to keep you on your toes and the genuine true love between the pair to make you yearn for their happy ever after.

A great end to a fab series, and I can’t wait for Charlie team next.

Well what a finale to what has been a great series! We have had tantalising hints regarding Beth and Axe and wow this book certainly drew me in from the beginning. As always with the fantastic Jane Blythe, there are plot twists galore and plenty of mayhem until this couple finally get their HEA. Plenty of suspense, romance and the opportunity to catch up with the rest of the team in this great bookl. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series, and now am going to have to wait patiently until Charlie Team is released!

The end of another good series, Bravo Team, by Jane Blythe. Finally getting answers to what happened to Axel’s wife, Beth, and why. Her amnesia was mentally crippling for her. A lot of triggers are in this book so go in to it knowing that you will find physical torture, rape, imprisonment, mental torture and death. Full of intense action, suspense, romance, and family. I did see the villains about 1/2 way in but that didn’t distract from a satisfying conclusion. I’m looking forward to Blythe’s new series coming, Prey Charlie Team!

Make no mistake Wicked Scars is one helluva story. It's deeply emotional, edge of your seat dramatic, and at times horrifying even brutal. You will be mesmerized. The depth of Beth and Axel's love is bottomless. The camaraderie and love among Bravo Team as well as the entire Prey team is uplifting. Suffice it to say the enemy is vanquished and the target that had been painted on the backs of Bravo Team no longer exists. You'll rejoice in their triumphs, weep with their sorrow and revel in their happiness. Jane Blythe surpassed herself with Wicked Scars. Brava, Jane, Brava!

Axel & Beth's story finally gives us closure. The pain & struggle from both of them in every other book tugged your heart. When they finally expressed their thoughts Hell yeah was my thoughts. Jane definitely puts us through the ringer before they get their future. That is not without blood, dodging bullets & a heap lots of fight! So much love comes off the pages. Excellent finish to this tough team of men & their incredible women. Honest review.

It takes a village

It took the whole team and well company but Axe and Beth finally get their HEA and Bravo Team gets to live out of the shadows. Lots of danger and harm for the men, but the women are stronger than ever. Beth shows she is a warrior and more than capable at every stage. The ending spends time focusing on the Charlie team and I am excited for their stories. This was a quick story that the whole set had led to and it did not disappoint.

What a way to end a great series! Beth has a horrific past that she has blocked until her husband, Axel is injured in an explosion. While Axel's recovering, Beth knows she needs to fight for her memories. The connection these two have even without Beth's memory is so strong, and only grows stronger as her memories come back. I was not prepared for the twist, but what a twist it was!

I had waited for this book from the very beginning. And Jane didn’t disappoint. It’s wicked awesome and never would I have guessed what all will be revealed. So many tears when I was reading, so many worries I had to read in one go, I wouldn’t have been able to take a break.
I am said to see this Team go and I’m anticipating the next series already.

Home at last

I have read the whole series of Bravo Team. They had me hooked from the very beginning. And this last book tired it altogether. That it doesn’t matter what happens, if you have the strength and the love you can get through anything.
And in this last book it showed it.

Wow, Beth's life was nothing but trauma and brutality until she meets Axel. This story is heart breaking, the loss of a loved one only to get them back and be kept at arms length because they don't remember you. This is an amazing story with wonderful characters, it's captivating and compelling while also being heart warming one instant then heart wrenching. I loved this story.

Intense, heartbreaking, and heartwarming

Each one of Bravo Team’s six books has a unique story with different levels of intensity. Book 6 was the most intense, the most heartbreaking, and the most heartwarming with the best H.E.A. that I could not have imagined. Loved Bravo Team and the strong women they loved.

This is an amazing end to the scars series. Axe and Beth have gone through so much to get there HEA. The other members of the team and their significant others make such a good family. They all love Beth and help her through out her journey. This is my favorite book that I’ve read from Jane.

This was the last book of the Alpha Team series. Talk about saving the best for last! Who am I kidding, they are all amazing. Axe and Beth's story gave insight into Beth's life and tied up many loose ends. It also gave us a glimpse into two more teams that I am so excited about.
