Watched the Chinese Drama based on this book called When I Fly Towards You and absolutely loved it. Currently reading the English translation of the book on Webtoon, but will be ordering the Chinese copy🤭. Life changing. My favorite of all time and i just know the book is even better. Felt all the feels, cried and laughed and fell in love.

I read this right after I watched the C-Drama adaption called "When I Fly Towards You".
Aside the fact that I love the C-Drama so much, I'd like to say that this novel has focused more of the main leads in the drama. I'm not complaining, since I read it because of the main leads and I even purposely read the book slowly, because I don't want to finish it.
I don't think there's much to talk about, since this was adapted, but I do think it's a good read for those who REALLY enjoyed the C-Drama and can't move on from the main lead couples.

me ha gustado mucho, mucho. le tengo mucho cariño a los personajes y es fácil de leer, pero se me ha ido haciendo pesadete más al final y la verdad que el conflicto este de los últimos tres capítulos como que me sobra bastante, pero muy pretty and a good read overall.

this book is genuinely SO ADORABLE. i love the pacing, i love the writing style, i love everything about it. after reading so many depressing, trauma-induced, emotionally draining books, this felt incredibly refreshing. like a fresh breath of air.
i especially love when the fl is the one who chases first, and the ml slowly (or not so slowly) becomes helplessly obsessed with her. that dynamic will always get me. this story is just pure fluff, soft, sweet, and comforting - and i absolutely loved every second of it.
zhang lurang is literally the standard. point blank. unfortunately for me, i did read this after watching the drama adaptation, but honestly? that just gave me the full experience. seeing it acted out and then getting all the extra depth from the book made it even better.
i fear this will not be a one-time read. re-reading is definitely happening.

I liked some bits but definitely didn't like it as much as the adaptation, but maybe that's cuz some bits were lost in the English translation

La empecé porque hace como 2 años vi la serie y se volvió una de mis favoritas. Cuando supe que tenía novela me dije que tenía que leerla sí o sí, sin embargo es un de las pocas veces que creo que la serie es muchísimo mejor que la novela.
Aún así es bastante bonita y divertida, con Su Zai Zai persiguiendo a Lu Rang y este tratando de hacerla feliz. Me gustaría que hubiera tenido más capítulo o al menos algunos extra, porque la pelea a solo 2 capítulos de terminar la novela sobra un poco .
