The Tsar of all The Russias was lamenting an empty coffer and the world was rushing toward the great disaster which would become known as The War to End All Wars. Winston Churchhill had just blotted his copy-book and had been move to the Admiralty. It was a time of great change.In the early spring of the year, a young ship’s captain was heading his ship toward the port of Liverpool, England. As she neared the south coast of Ireland, he received a wireless message which was to dramatically change his life from that day right up until the day he died.
