On a whim, Bard joins up with a nervous wizard, a sweet tinkering gnome, and grim fighter. He gets thrown into an adventure before the dust even settles. It's not the glorious world-saving some might look for. It's only a puzzle — why are all the mechanical parts disappearing? As they get closer to the answer, the group learns that machine components aren't the only things missing; people are gone. When they're in too deep to turn back, they have to make the desperate decision to go against the odds to save their friend from a terrible enemy. And maybe they wind up saving the world, or, at least, a very small part of it.

It's a humorous fantasy that runs into the wide-open arms of classic clichés and enjoys every minute of it. There's nothing like a little laughter to go with a sword-swinging adventure.

Bewitched by the simple pleasure

With so much emphasis put on the epic, panoramic, sweeping fantasy...it is a genuine joy to find a fun jaunt into adventure where you are cheering for a bard named Bard!
